It's a great place for folks who live in the Bon Air area and it's not far from major highways, either. It's about a 20-minute drive from downtown Richmond. I stopped in before Yelp Supper Club -- held at an eatery in the same shopping center -- last night to see if they had any cool sours on hand. At this point in my beer-drinking life I know I need to have my Untappd app out when making purchases because I've tried so many varieties. They didn't seem annoyed that I was analyzing each bottle before making any decisions. In fact, both guys working were super friendly, not invasive of my space, and offered great recommendations. I purchased a six-pack of a local raspberry sour to share, as well as a bottle from American Solera. Looking forward to both! Their selection is curated well and they also offer growler fills. I'll definitely return if I'm in the area.

For those of you who are not familiar, Virginia is one of those crazy states where you can only buy hard liquor at licensed liquor stores, so keep the name "ABC" in your mind if you are in that state. This particular ABC store has always had the scotch I'm after, and has even been known to stock a hard-to-find Bermudian Ginger Beer (amazing for making Dark 'N Stormies). The staff is friendly and pretty knowledgeable, and I've had a very good experience every time I've been. I definitely recommend. :-)
