The location is in a large strip beside a grocery chain. Parking is plentiful and debris free. The front of the store was also clear of trash. Upon waiting in line for a delivery truck with allocated bottles the store opened. The line was probably 14-16 long for approximately 8-10 hard to find bottles. I was number three. All the customers were permitted in at once which created a free for all with those on the rear rushing to the front grabbing bottles. There was zero control by the staff. It was the most chaotic scene in a VA ABC I've encountered. Checkout was smooth but no friendly customer service. Guess I was not surprised. This is a store I will most likely never return to if I can help it. 1.5 rounding up for awesome bottles I scored.

This location is a relocation of sorts - the clerk told me that they closed the Virginia ABC Store at the Marketplace at Madison Crescent retail complex - and moved it to the Shops at Stonewall. The second room had more wine on display. The shop is nice and appears to be high end, mostly dedicated to wine. I did not compare wine prices, but my impression is that wine here is more expensive than some of the national or regional retail chains such as Costco, Total Wine, Binny's Beverage Depot, etc. They also offer cigars, beer and cheese. We did not buy anything during our visit. When we were leaving, a customer arrived to buy some wine. If we ever run out of wine we will stop here to buy wine or other items.
