Overall this location is nice. There's plenty of parking outside and the store is nicely organized. I passed by a couple different staff and no one said anything to me. No greeting and I wasn't offered assistance despite the fact I was aimlessly walking around. The store isn't huge but does have a big selection. To me the prices seemed higher than the liquor stores near me. I will say I saw several promotions throughout the store, several that had a free mini bottle attached. (Which I never see in DC / MOCO) I was impressed with the mini bottle section and the prices were spot on in that department. I didn't end up buying anything since I could get most of it cheaper where I live- but that doesn't mean this isn't a good stop if you're in a jam.

My friend knows I've been searching, so when Sip & Pop opened up in Fredericksburg, she immediately planned a trip for us. Honestly, it was worth it. The location is right downtown, easy to find, and we had no problem with street parking when we went. The shop itself is adorable, with this fun little mix of Virginia-themed products plus the soda and popcorn side. I loved that it felt unique and local while still giving me that classic dirty soda fix I've been craving. I tried their monthly special, but I also had to get the Dirty & Flirty because that's way more my Utah comfort zone. So good. Also got a grape soda float, which was exactly the kind of fun sugar rush I wanted, and their ice cream dip was delicious too. Unexpected star of the day though? The popcorn. Fresh movie theater popcorn with every purchase, and honestly, I wanted multiple bags. It was so good. The staff was incredibly sweet, the whole place was cute, and it felt like such a fun little downtown stop. If you've never had a dirty soda before, this is a great place to start. And if you're from Utah like me... you'll probably be ridiculously happy to find it.
