The store is not hard to navigate either, but sometimes items can be hard to find, or online might say it is in stock when it isn't. Sometimes the meats section does seem a bit limited on precut meats, but we are not that picky usually. I do wish they did have a bigger variety of ethnic items. My main gripe is that sometimes the self checkout can get pretty backed up, mainly because the machines always error out and there is only one employee usually assigned to self checkout. It does seem like they could use another section of self checkout machines, maybe even an express line aside from self checkout.

The shopping center appears to be thriving with grocery anchor Harris Teeter. Spaces are nearby, but not directly in front. Curbside is offered by arranging ahead. The store is on the smaller floor plan and very compact. The bourbon area takes up a full wall. The selection was 5 star with several hard to find rare bourbons such as EH Taylor, Blanton's and Blade & Bow 22 year that's a whopping $470 bottle. Three checkouts are up front with two operational. They had an orderly line when opening. No issues with my card being processed and the cashier was friendly enough but busy with a line 10 back. This store is not close to my home, so I most likely will not return here for my booze. Otherwise it's ok, nothing special. An A-OK from me. 3.5 rounding down as the store floor space is limited.

The store was super organized and the ladies were eagerly waiting to assist those that entered the store. I even witnessed an employee come from behind the counter to assist a customer looking for a particular spirit. I thought to myself, oh wow, this was over the top customer service. I have been in places before, and the employee just yells the aisle or points in the direction of the item. So this was refreshing to see. I needed help and the associate helped me :) I was looking for the miniature section and found what I needed. I would definitely recommend you check out this location. It's not super big inside, but you are sure to find something you like. It's in a great location as well. Near eateries and grocery shopping. I believe a gas station is nearby too. Great spot! I felt at home and with great friends! There were local wineries from all over the state as well as an international area. Food trucks and local vendors were there to give me a break from the delicious tastings. And the live band (didn't catch the name) was amazing and kept the mood up throughout the dreary weather. I'm looking forward to next year's festival and thinking about getting a tent in case of rain again. Overall, glad we took a chance and marking our calendars for the next one!

We opted for the VIP tickets because in my wine expo/tasting experience, it is worth the extra cost. The VIP room had 3 food pairings throughout the event. This is always nice because I always learn something from talking to the wine makers or Sommeliers. For instance, I learned that Riesling and BBQ pairs well together. Mind Blown! But you had to be in the VIP room to try and then you'll see why it works. The VIP room also had unlimited cheese, fruits, and crackers. You can't been that. If you are tasting over 100+ wines you will need all the snacks you can get. If it wren't for the VIP room, you would have had to bring your own snacks OR buy it at the concession stand, which adds up. Needless to say I am always an advocate of going to this things with the VIP tickets or serious coordination with other people to bring your own food and get in on a table. Which is like $400 for 8 people, however if planned accordingly it could be a lot fun. Wine was not the only thing here! They had all sorts of jewelry, chocolates (liquored chocolates!) and Olive Oil tastings. So..if you needed a break from the wine, there were other things to taste. I frequent this location and recently saw management fuss at an employee in front of customers it was inappropriate timing. I made sure to tell Paul he was doing a great job - because he was! Overall the staff is attentive especially Jordan. I stop in often for dinner items and she's always at self checkout willing to lend a helping hand. Something tends to malfunction with the register often when I go and she can anticipate the issue before it happens and helps resolve it quickly. Upon arrival I was concerned with the small line that had formed at 11 30 AM. I waited and found out I was number four for three bottles of Old Fitzgerald bourbon. I decided to hang in there for other rare bourbon possibilities on the truck. When the store opened Rose held the door open for around 6 customers. I looked over their stock which was very good. The staff was very helpful and I explained that I was looking for a rare bourbon for a birthday present. I waited for anything to be put on the shelf from the truck. After around 30 minutes one of the staff told me the Old Fitzgerald was available as the third person did not want to purchase at the price point. Talk about lucky! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the various products. It can get hectic during the special allocation drops because of the way they handle things. People start lining up very early on drop day, so either get there early or be prepared to wait in a long line.
