Her nutritional and medical advice is superb. She did not suggest any unnecessary tests, she asks the right questions, she makes some good nutritional recommendations. I appreciated the handout she gave me for approved raw and grain-free food. I have referenced this handout several times when seeking out different options for food. I find her very compassionate about animals and holistic treatments. She is compassionate about what is put in pet food, I got quite an education about what is in some commercial products. I've found their front desk reception staff to be pleasant and helpful every visit, and also when I call. I have called to make appointments and to order a supplement, which they shipped to me (I appreciated not having to drive an hour there and back to get it). Yes, when you book a first time appointment it takes a couple months to get in with Dr. Grant. She is very popular. When I needed a more urgent visit I was able to book an emergency visit for approximately $100. As long as the staff disclosed this amount and why, I was fine with it. I saw they have boarding, the cats that were in the cat boarding looked pretty happy and it appeared to be clean and tidy in the boarding room.

It is so helpful to have someone you can ask questions of, to reassure and comfort you at a fraught and emotional time. Every criteria we had was met and exceeded: we wanted Maggie to feel no fear, to have unhurried time with her, to have a clear understanding of what was going to happen, to say goodbye on our terms. Maggie simply and immediately accepted Dr. Kriner's presence, decided she welcomed pets and affection from this sweet person she had never met. The only focus was Maggie, to have her feel complete love surrounding her, to let her enjoy cheeseburgers and chocolate, pets, hugs, kisses, many words of love, to make certain she knew exactly how special she was and always would be and that we were grateful for her life with us. There is no avoiding how heartbreaking a time it is, but to have a precious fur baby handled with love, calmness, gentleness, respect and care is an enormous comfort. I've been here three times in the past six months, and every visit has been a positive experience. The staff and doctors are incredibly friendly, caring, and respectful--they never make you feel belittled. That might sound small, but after a negative experience at another animal hospital nearby, it really stood out to me. Visiting an urgent clinic for a pet can be so stressful, but the environment here is welcoming, calming, and reassuring. It makes such a difference when you know your pet is in good hands. I honestly wouldn't take my pets anywhere else for urgent care needs.

We paid a small deposit for a chocolate lab, and were told the day to come pick him up (we had to wait about 3 weeks until he was old enough to leave mama). We emailed a few times for updates/pics, and we got immediate responses. They were very accommodating! We were in the area a couple of weeks before we were supposed to pick him up so we asked the breeder if we could meet the puppies just for fun. She was very accommodating! When we went to pick up our puppy, she had all the AKC paperwork in order and was wonderful and professional. The entire buying experience was very smooth! Judy is very nice and very professional. I just came back from the vet, and our vet said that all the vaccinations and her plan of treatment for our dog was perfect. On top of that, the puppy's nails had already been trimmed, and he had his dew claws removed when he was just a couple of days old. In terms of the puppy, we are amazed at how smart and intuitive he is! Apparently he is a classic chocolate lab. He loves to listen and perform, and he has picked up on potty training and retrieving items within days. He is now 9 weeks old, and he will ring the bell on the door to go out! This is a very smart, healthy, well bred puppy. I highly recommend this breeder!

Dr. Wiseman made it out to my mare very quickly in a recent emergency (that admittedly would have been less urgent if I hadn't coincidentally been in the hospital for something unrelated to horses) and even called a few days later to make sure that both my horse and I were doing okay. My dealings with him and Dr. Huffman, though brief, have been pleasant. Furthermore, the office staff is very willing to help you work out a payment plan that makes those emergency visits less catastrophic on your wallet. I feel like I may just be being picky in giving them 4 stars instead of 5, but I've dealt primarily with Dr. Siegrist. While he is undoubtedly very qualified, I feel that his manner is very rushed an impersonable. My mare had always been happy to see my old vet who seemed to recall my mare's health history from memory. For some reason, Dr. Siegrist makes my usually calm, mild-mannered mare a nervous wreck. Again, I could just be being picky because of the lengthy history my horse has with my old vet. Its entirely possible that my horse and I are both spoiled in that regard. But all in all, nothing bad to say about this practice and would still recommend it to friends.
