Dr. Derse is the best vet you'll ever encounter! She's gentle and so qualified. Her staff will respond in a timely way.

Dr. Sheena Dadkhah recently did a surgery on our dog who had a Mass Cell on the top of her head!…read moreGranted it was no cancerous, there was a little to much urgency into surgery as the mass cell was diminishing from the anti-inflammatories she was given. As a result of the surgery, our dog now has facial nerve (cranial nerve VII) paralysis! This was a simple surgery, and now our loving dog has this issue to deal with! When we took her back to be checked out, as her top eyelid was not shutting, her left ear wasn't moving or her left nostril, Dr. Dadkhahs only suggestion was to get an MRI - SUPER - lets spend $6,000 for what? I'm not saying Google is a good doctor, but it was more effective in diagnosing our dog than this "vet surgeon"! Just awful pre and post care! A good vet surgeon would have waited to do surgery Vs rush rush rush - to see if the mass cell would go completely which was looking like it was. Additionally, for someone who's been to school for this type of stuff, not to identify that she has facial nerve (cranial nerve VII) paralysis is just flat out DUMB!! Not only this, but she denied that there was no issue with her surgery. RIGHT!! If your dog needs a checkup - great place - if your dog needs good care - NOT THE PLACE!

I followed Dr Retseck here from the last practice she worked at. She is caring, empathetic, and smart. While it is not necessarily inexpensive the prices are in line with similar practices.

I always have a problem with being spoken to with such a haughty attitude. That is what I just got,…read moreI usually ask for a name but...... I just adopted a dog who was seen by WOLF ANIMAL HOSPITAL on 2/6. It is 2/9. He was taken in by the rescue facility for an oral growth of some type. The rescue facility said it was "nothing". Hmmm. OK. It was enough to warrant a trip to the Veterinarian. The rescue facility had no paperwork, no report, no receipt. The female receptionist at Wolf Animal Hospital confirmed it was "nothing". Okie dokie. The old blow off again. Oh, she told me that the rescue had and would give me everything. I said ok, BUT, I have the dog. I have no report. I have nothing stating that it is NOTHING. Answer, "Oh, well sometimes the vet makes notations in the chart later. Later than what? Saturday is the major meet and greet adoption day. So if that paperwork is not charted or faxed to the facility any prospective adopter will not have the opportunity to see that report. And maybe like me they will ask questions. It is interesting that the reviews I am reading about this hospital are so complimentary. Maybe Dr. Setlock is amazing but he doesn't know that his staff is not. Many times the doctors have no idea because they are busy being fabulous doctors while their staff are rude and argumentative. That's ok. I adopted the doggie. I am happy. I will be seeing my amazing Vet on Thursday. I will have him do an oral exam. I will let him tell me it is nothing to worry about. OR....keep an eye on that, watch the size, watch the color. He will chart it instantly and his staff who would never speak to a client in that fashion will print me a copy of every part of our visit. Hint: to the receptionist.....maybe you should ask the person calling for your help if they have 30 years of experience in the veterinary field BEFORE you try to blow them off with your "It's NOTHING reply. I sincerely hope you have the day you deserve.
