They had me bring my trailer the same day as I called (which is two days before Thanksgiving). The staff were all helpful and professional. The person who worked on my trailer took the time to show me how to properly secure my trailer to my vehicle, repaired more than just the connector I thought I needed, and verified that my lights were working before I left. After four months of replacing fuses I decided to track down the problem. Discovered that because they park trailer in the weeds they call a lot mice had made a nest in the frame and chewed the entire wire loom. Went back to see what if anything they could do, and they admitted they get mice in the trailers all the time and suggested a place to go buy the loom. I would have thought the 12 grand was enough to include good wiring but I was wrong. Will never buy a single thing from them ever again. Avoid avoid avoid!

Upon inquiring about the spare tire the have the tires, mounts and bolts but no nuts? This should have been red flag one. The second is when they couldn't find the title....well it has a deposit but didn't have a deposit? There is a sign when you come in that says no deposit means no promises. Well there was never a deposit put down but they wouldn't sell it as the "guy is coming back later to pick it up". Upon asking to speak to the owner I was directed to a gentlemen who then was not the owner and the older gentlemen was. This was the point when we decided to take our business elsewhere.

I was initially put off a bit because he didn't have any entry-level trailers. Most of what he has is upgraded and solid as heck. I've never seen such solid trailers. I went home, did some more homework, and quickly realized he offered me an incredible deal on all 3 trailers. In fact, trailer for trailer at a competitor, his upgraded trailer was $1,000 less than their entry-level trailer. I showed a competitor the quotes he gave me, and they just handed it back and told me they couldn't touch those offers. When I went to purchase, it was a 10 minute process. Jim walked me through the trailer again, got me a few accessories and that was it. He even changed the ball on my hitch to the correct size at no additional charge. Hopefully I won't have to buy another trailer again, but if I do it will be Morris and no place else.

The under side of the trailer was already rusted. When I got under the trailer to install the stabilizer jacks, it is very obvious the frame was painted from the top side only. Large paint runs hanging from the vertical wall of the frame and no coating on the bottom side of the frame. The steel frame around the ramp also has rust at several locations.

Fast forward to 4 Months ago: I called Rich (manager), and informed him that we are growing and needed a bigger trailer and soon, we would need more. He was happy for me, and loves to see business grow. He is extremely nice, great salesman but it's important for customers to know what ACTUALLY happens AFTER you make your purchase. We purchased a 6X12 trailer which I assumed to be another Cargo Mate, but AFTER doing all the paperwork I was informed it was not in fact a Cargo Mate but a Commander. Big Tex Trailer World recently got bought out and started manufacturing lower end trailers according to Rich, THATS why I was getting such a "good deal." Within the first 5 minutes of driving off with the trailer I experienced a wheel hub wobble and flickering lights. When I brought it back, they gave me the runaround and told me "That's what it's supposed to do." After going back and forth and going to a different trailer place, they told me the wheel hub was in fact bent. It only took 3 hours of arguing until he "warrantied" out the hub-something I shouldn't have even had an issue with given that before signing I was told I have a no hassle "bumper to bumper" warranty coverage. Awesome, I got it replaced. 2 months later my leaf springs completely snap with the trailer not even close to hauling full capacity. I called them 3 times-all 3 times I got the same response: "I'll have to look up the warranty information and I will call you back." Still haven't heard back. I wish this company all the luck-they are extremely nice to your face and are really good at convincing you you're getting a good deal-but BEWARE. This Commander rust bucket won't even sell for half the value of what I paid-a 2019 should not be in this terrible of condition compared to my Cargo Mate. Good luck keeping customers with this type of quality.

Other companies I contacted simply told me they could not obtain the trailer nor did they have any information as to when they might be available. Big Tex in Homer Glen went out of their way to contact manufacturers individually, comparable trailer brand reps and other resources within their network to set me up with the best fit for my specs. After calling ZipDee for advice, I decided to change out the complete set of 17 year old awning fabric. ZipDee recommended Ehrhadt's for the job. After selecting the awning fabric, they did their magic. And what a beautiful job they did! Changing out awning fabric is way above my pay grade and their service fit our travel timeframe. Gave the number a call and explained the situation to the very nice lady on the phone which I found out later was Brian Bentleys wife. She contacted her husband immediately and he returned the call and made arrangements to come to the race track and look at our refrigerator. After about 10 minutes he found the problem and was able to repair our refrigerator. The cost was more than reasonable. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed chatting with him. The next day Brian and his wife called and made sure our refrigerator was still working. Super nice people. Highly recommended
