His oral temperature was 99°F, and we were told the rest of his vital signs were within normal range. Despite the severity of his symptoms and the rapid weight loss, no blood work or urine testing was performed, and he was not given fluids. We left concerned that potentially important causes had not been evaluated or ruled out. I understand that medical decisions depend on the clinician's assessment, but the lack of diagnostic testing or a clear explanation was disappointing and unsettling. Patients with sudden, severe symptoms should receive a careful evaluation, clear communication, and appropriate follow-up instructions. I hope the facility reviews this visit and considers how similar concerns can be handled more thoroughly in the future. Possibly JCHAO concern? I should think so! This place should be avoided!! When I clicked the email and text links to confirm our appointments, the message was "you cannot cancel your appointment at this time." We showed up an hour ahead of our appointments to fill out paperwork and were told that we did NOT have appointments and THAT I HAD RESCHEDULED US TO 9/15. I explained my situation needing PT again, pointed out it made no sense for me to postpone my appointment after having moved it up, showed the office manager the text I'd received Friday afternoon (8/14-the day she insisted I'd rescheduled) and she was very rude, repeating that I WAS THE ONE WHO HAD RESCHEDULED. Then when she said she would try to get ME seen by a RESIDENT, she said she could only accommodate one of us, so I said don't bother and goodbye. Within minutes of her shift, she came in and brought me hot coffee, WATER (something you need to live), socks, fresh bedding, aloe wipes to replace mine --- and that's when I told her that I had never received anything like that at all! What, did Pissy Patsy take it home? She is an awful person. I am going to report the old bag. It's sad when I am being transported to my CT and the person who is transporting me sees Pissy Patsy and says, "Ugh... I hate coming to this floor..." Um YEAH, TRY BEING HER PATIENT It was hell. She never brought my meds. She never asked if I needed anything. When I would call for something, she would say in a really rude voice, "Can I help you... or you probably need something..." She was so extremely rude. I don't ever want to have to deal with that awful woman again and I will tell everyone! In addition, there was Jim, the Charge Nurse that I told all of this to and he was supposed to stop her from being my nurse and guess what: She was my nurse the very next day! Let me tell you, JIM, this was hell! Not only did I have MRSA and have had this for over a year and this is my 47th boil, but your staff made it a miserable experience.
