Classic pedi took 2 hours. Which should have been a 30 minute service. Quality of work was horrible. Polish was old thick and stringy. Had to remove polish twice then someone else had to come and take over. Still poor quality of work. Left with bad polish job. Had to cancel another appointment cause it took so long. read more

I asked for dip to be taken off nails and gel removed from my toe nails to give my natural nails a break. Angel cut my nails fairly short which I was okay with initially. However, instead of removing the product on the entire nail she shaved all of the tips down to paper-thin. This resulted in several weeks of nails breaking and bleeding-very painful. she also put gel polish back on my toes. I didn't know until I tried to remove the polish. I will never go there again and if you're thinking about trying them out I would highly recommend going elsewhere. This was clearly either mean-spirited or complete incompetency. read more

I used to LOVE going to VIP nails. Then I went to have my nails redone and the lady who did them was in such a rush, she burned the sides of my fingernails from the machine when she was doing them. I was really looking forward to having a great pedicure because I'm very pregnant and wanted to treat myself. I waited 40 minutes for anyone to start me. When she finally came over, she left several times to do other things, cut my toe with the cuticle clipper and THEN--the worst part of all--I asked for the Deluxe Spa pedicure and she gave me only the basic. I stopped her right before color and was like "whoa whoa!" And she said "oh sorry. I thought you get basic. I already finished." I was and am beyond pissed. I've been going to VIP for two years and have always received fast and friendly service. I'm older and my nails were becoming weaker and broke easily. Sarah, the owner, suggested the powder dip and I LOVE it! My nails grew longer and stronger than ever. It cost a little more but it also lasts longer - so it's worth it! I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment to be sure of timely service, but they will always try to work in walk-ins, too. read more

The woman who did my pedicure hurt me so that I thought my feet were bleeding. Everything from trimming the nails, pushing back the cuticle, massaging my feet to have the polish applied (she ran her fingernails at the edge of my nails to remove the excess polish) hurt. I said ouch, jumped and pulled my feet back repeated but it didn't help. Too bad. read more

Spent too long trying different nail salons until I decided to try VIP, and I haven't been to any other salons since. Tina (runs the place) is the sweetest and is there all day everyday. She does a great job with my specific acrylic nail needs- speedily and at a great price. I've never spent over $40 in one visit and I get shellac everytime and repairs often when I get my fills, as well as tip. I have never gotten any service here but acrylics/ acrylic fills. Its usually pretty quiet and there used to be barely any staff ever, but she recently hired more techs. The techs are all so sweet and personable! I never have to hold hands with a rude nail tech again lol. Would recommend for acrylics anyways! read more

Not clean!! Went in for shellac manicure and they put me on a table when someone else's nail clippings. I took it upon myself to empty them on the floor. The staff was friendly that about all I have to say that is nice. After looking at my nails. The polish was all over my skin. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I have paid $50 every time to get dip and have came in multiple time after to get them fixed because they fall apart 3 days after getting them. The owner is very sweet and nice but this happens every time I come to get a new set. They also act like they have better things to do than help you with your issue, I'm tired of feeling like a nuisance there. I do not recommend going here unless u want to come back a few days after and get them fixed. read more

at first i was so excited to get my nails done. then one lady scrubbed my legs till the point i saw a drop of blood then they kept on cutting skin around my nails with their tools. i got them done a few days ago and they are chipped. after getting them done they were crooked and stuff was in it! beyond disappointed read more

The people here are nice enough but they have a tendency to overbook themselves and leave you sitting there for way too long. The last time I was there, I called them and asked if they could get my friend and I in over our lunch break at 11:30. They asked me if I could do Noon instead, but I told them no. Then they said, okay we can do 11:30. My friend and I got there at 11:30 and they told us to pick out a color. They had us take a seat and then we sat there soaking our feet until Noon anyway! I noticed a few other people who hadn't been helped yet either, sitting there with their hands or feet soaking for a long time with no one paying attention to them. By the time they finally got to us I told them we had to be back to work by 12:30 so they rushed through our appointments, basically soaking our feet, drying them off and painting our toes. That was it. They usually include hot towels and lotion, but not this time. They have done this to me several times and it is very frustrating. Especially when I bring other people with me. Even though this place is right across the street from my work, I drive 10 extra minutes away to go to another salon now. read more

The technician was very personable and did a very nice job on my nails. The price is right and the quality is good. I plan to come here again. read more

Don't go! Asked to have my acrylic nails soaked off and a manicure. He pried my nails off with a nail tip, leaving several nails bleeding and me in excruciating pain. Poorest manicure I have ever received as well - didn't include a hand massage or anything. And he charged me $25 to be tortured! read more

My complaint is their use of clippers and nail equipment that did not appear to be sterilized and was shared among our group. The salon i normally go to uses sterilized equipment for each person. The techique was rushed, too hot stones and very ruff with the nail clippers, my big toe is hurting from cutting too deep into my cuticle. read more

i hate to do this because I have been coming to VIP Nails for the last couple years to get a great, affordable eye brow wax, but I will NEVER go again. The lady there is great about taking walk in's but maybe she shouldn't because she does not seem as prepared, or focused. The time before last I went in and she left noticeable amounts of hair...... annoyed as I was I still decided to give VIP another try. I again came in as a walk in for an eye brow wax, and she saw me right away. After being their for only about a minute she got wax in my hair (on my head), she kept messing with it to try and get it out, and eventually starting soaking it in alcohol. I didn't say anything. Then she proceeds to get wax in my hair in TWO DIFFERENT SPOTS, the top of my head, and at the ends of my hair. Noticeable big clumps of wax ,and I can't even gently comb through it. I still didn't say anything and she did apologize. So then she starts to clean the wax off of my face, she uses a alcohol SOAKED cotton ball and lets a little get in my eye. I grab my eye because it stings and she asks "does that hurt?", I just responded well, yes you are dripping alcohol in my eye. Then SHE DOES IT AGAIN, but this time she gets so much alcohol in my eye that I jump up and grab my eye in pain. She asks again "does that hurt?" and then gives me a paper towel. I politely ask her for water to flush my eye out, and then she bring me a paper towel that she put in the running water. The she offers to clean the eye makeup up from under my eye, because its running...... so now I have running eye makeup, and wax in three different spots in my hair, and I have to go back to work because I did this on my lunch break, She did apologize, and she only charged me 1/2 price, but I am still very irritated at how she could make these mistakes not once but two and three times.Very irresponsible, rude, and just plain inconsiderate. I should not have been charged at all. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed professionally for about 14 years, so I have of course had some not so great experiences every once in awhile at salons, I even had a lady practically take off one half of my eye brow hair once right before I was in a wedding...... but I have never had an experience this bad, and I have never written a negative review on any service I have ever had. I have not had my nails done her since new ownership has taken over ( which seems to be when service started lacking), so i can't really speak to that, but if the waxing services are any indication to how the nail services would be- DON'T get your nails done here either. I will never return here, even though the price is right, and they are conveniently located within minutes of my employer. read more
