My mother in law and I along with my daughter went to this nail salon. They rushed us to pick our colors and basically forced my mother in law to pick a color she didn't like. Then when she asked if she could change the color her nail tech said no and kept putting the same color on. I asked for regular polish on my toes and my mother in law did as well. Then the bill came and they added gel polish on the end of the bill for both of us. Turns out they ignored our requests and added gel just to add to the bill. Do not go to this nail salon, they are dishonest. read more

He rushed me through basic pedicure. I got gel and two days later it is chipping. Did not do my cuticles. No callus removal and charged me $65 read more

My person is Sara Amazing person never been disappointed with anything! She is so sweet treats you like family

The pedicure was fair. Unfortunately, at the end of the service the nail tech asked us to pay while we were still sitting in the chair, rather than walking us to the counter like everyone else. My friend offered to walk to the counter and pay but her nail tech (that was NOT friendly during the service) demanded that she pay at that moment. I find that situation very unprofessional and uncomfortable. read more

The owner of this business is a nightmare! They lie and say they can do designs they can't do! She couldn't even do what I asked then when I asked for them off she argued with attitude and when I said I want a refund she said she had to remove them for that which was what I asked for to start with. She full on yelled back and forth with me over NAILS as the OWNER. Place is big and pretty but disgusting human running it. I would not support them. read more

Yeah, I'm really glad I had a gift card because these are not worth it. I finally grew my nails out over two years of trying to take care of them and this is the French gel manicure I walked away with. One thumb is severely crooked, the other thumb is a stub. And the gel is very uneven. Still jagged in the edges. And I have a bridal shoot today that these will be in pictures forever. read more

I asked for matte black and showed the picture of exactly what i wanted. My tech was more concerned about everything else going on around him. After he was done I looked at my nails and noticed they were lumpy. I showed him and he redid them. They looked fine until they set, I looked at them 5 minutes later and it's like they were painted by someone who wasn't experienced. Honestly I wasn't impressed with the service nor the work I got done. I won't be back and I'll find somewhere else. Honestly the 1.50 nails from shein looked better than this however they weren't Durable. My current nails are not worth $50 but maybe 25$ very sad read more

After a long day at work, I decided to treat myself to a pedicure -- something I rarely do. From the moment I walked in, the experience was great. Wendy was incredibly helpful and walked me through the different pedicure options and pricing, which I really appreciated since I'm not too familiar with it all. She then introduced me to Kim, who did my pedicure, and she was absolutely outstanding. I've only had a pedicure a couple of times in my life, but Kim made it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. My feet felt amazing afterward. I'll definitely be back -- thanks to Wendy's friendly guidance and Kim's excellent work. read more

VIP Nails & Spa - Fastest, most beautiful nails. - Nail Salons Near Me - Anderson, South Carolina

June 14,2024 Today,I went to VIP Nails and Spa. My nails were so bad from working in my flower beds. I was almost embarrassed to go. I walked in and was greeted by the kindest young man, his name was Khiem and he immediately assigned me to a pedicure chair. Where my favorite technician Tulip was waiting for me. She is always such a blessing. She is kind, courteous and fun. I needed both toe nails and finger nails done so bad. She actually moved me to another chair that accommodated nails and toes. Ryan did my finger nails, while Tulip did my toes. I was literally treated like a queen. They made me feel very special. And leaving Khiem inquired if I was satisfied with their service. So,kind and polite. My finger nails and toe nails are now beautiful. May God bless Khiem, Ryan and Tulip read more

Michael & Tulip were fantastic. One of the best couple mani/pedis we have ever had. Super friendly and the massage was so relaxing.

Lucky did a fantastic job on my mani/pedi. She was very thorough and paid great attention to detail. Each time I've come here I've been treated with care. read more

This place totally ruined my daughters nails. The nail tech ripped her nails off without putting her hands in any solution. All she asked for was a filling and a polish on the nails that they had done a few weeks ago. The tech ripped the fake nails off and with it took chunks of her real nails with it. She asked him to stop. He was hurting her. They didn't want to fix the problem and was rude to her after they hurt her. She tried to talk to the manager and he told her she had to wait. The nail tech stood there and then tried to charge her for ripping her nails off. See the pictures. Her left hand is what she went in there looking like the right hand is what he started to do. As her father I am extremely angry. You can see her hands before and after and what her left hand still looks like. Avoid this place read more

Been going to this salon for about a year and a half and have never had a bad experience. I never have to wait and usually see a different person each time I get my nails done. I don't know why I keep going back to this place, except the first time I went, the girl did such a great job so I was sure to get her name so that I could request her for whenever I went back. So when I did go back, I gave her name to the guy at the counter who then asked one of the other girls if 'so and 'so was there. It went completely downhill from there. I was told to follow a different person, who, based on my experience there before was completely inexperienced for this task. My eyes burned throughout the whole time and it looked like a big mess by the time I was done. Now don't get me wrong. This a very large and extravagant salon and gotten my nails done there and was very satisfied. read more

This is going to be a lengthy post. My friend, Susan and I went in on Saturday and requested pedicures. Susan informed the techs that she would be paying cash for both pedicures. My tech immediately started with the up sale and I did go for the callus treatment which was supposed to be an extra $5.00 even though I requested no polish at the pedicure. Then she asked if I would like a manicure to fix my cuticles. I had just had a manicure at another salon 2 weeks earlier but I agreed. I told Susan I would pay for my manicure and my tech took me to another table to do the mani. I again requested no polish. She is the tech that wears the diamond Budda necklace in the shape of a woman and she is a good scam artist. She rushed through the mani and when she finished she started to write the bill. I reminded her that Susan was paying for my pedi. She said that Susan didn't pay because she didn't know how much it was. We walked to the front register and she quickly rung up a bill for $72 which I tipped $8.00 on. In the meantime, Susan was paying her tech at the chair. The tech told her it was $43 for her, $48 for me. She gave her $100 and told her to keep the change, which was a $9.00 tip. The tech did not give her a receipt. Susan came to the register as I was paying but she thought I was paying for my mani only. We left and a little while later we realized that they had charged us both for my pedi. Susan got the flu and strep throat so she called back on Monday and talked with a man who said he was the manager. She explained what happened but he said that since she paid cash and had no receipt he couldn't know how much she paid. Susan asked him to go back on the film but he said it recorded over every 24 hrs. He told her that since I paid with a card to get me to come back and talk with him and he would see what he could do. Susan couldn't pronounce his name so he said to ask for the bald-headed manager. Well, I went back after work on Tuesday and he was no where to be found and the people acted as if they didn't know who I was referring to. He refused to believe my story or to refund the money. The tech that did Susan's pedi swore that Susan only gave her 2 twenty dollar bills, no tip. I know that is a outright lie because we always tip service people. I told him that $40 wouldn't even cover Susan's pedi and he said pedis are $40. I told him we chose the $43 pedi but again he wouldn't budge. I told him I would be posting on Facebook but he said we have the tape showing how much she paid. So now, who is the liar, him or the bald-headed manager? Do they have the tape or does it record over every 24 hrs? We feel that they deliberately separated us in order to double charge us and after reading other reviews I am coming to realize that they are running a scam when they see the opportunity. All I can say is I will never set my foot in there again after using them for the last five years. If you go there, don't go for the upsale which is pushed and make sure you get a receipt for everything. read more

I'd give this salon 0 stars if I could‼ I visited this place 4 times. I kept going back thinking that it would certainly get better-NO!!! I can't remember any names because it was long ago. On my very last visit, they were so rough with me on my nails! Caused the cuticles to bleed, and when I jerked a few times because it was so painful, she popped me on the top of my hand with the file! I took the file from her and told her I'd file them myself. Of course that didn't sit well with her, so she called over 2 people and I assume she was telling them what happened...they discussed it in their language! I can only imagine what they were saying! I had gotten a half job pedicure before my nails, so I was already unhappy. When I finished filing my fingernails, I dropped it back on the tray so she could finish. Boy did she ever do a terrible job there!! The polish was bubbled up, and a few nails weren't even completely painted. While my nails weren't completely dry, she comes over to get my payment, and I just handed it back to her. I told her I'd take care of things up front. So when I finally got up to pay (I don't remember the cost), I put a $20 on the counter and told them they'd better be glad they got that! One of the employee's came running out the door after me, and I politely got in my car and left. 2 weeks later, I developed a nail fungus on 4 toes! It took me almost a year for them to heal up. It required a Dr bill, prescription, and continuous over the counter topicals. Please don't go here! read more

This salon looks pretty but their service is awful. They are rude and do not know how to do designs at all. Very lazy and extremely overpriced. I had to keep telling my technician that I didn't like how he was doing them or the design he was attempting to do from the picture I showed him. He glued on the tips for my acrylics and put one on crooked. Then he tried to rip it off and almost took off my real nail. He tried to excuse it by saying "my fingers are crooked." I did not enjoy my experience, paid for overpriced nails, have sore nails and I have cuts because of the file. Good luck if you go here. read more

Leadership needs a revamp. The owners brother is extremely rude and I feel he is biased. I want to walk in where I'm wanted or my money is wanted. Not just pick a Color and wait. Easley has women at the desk or a very friendly man who greets knows my name and always welcomes and thanks me. Phillp(owner) you will continue to lose business in this shop. Ive been going for 12 years and your lack of accountability for the mistakes. Customer service and increase in prices are sending me elsewhere. O have taken VIP Anderson alot of business but I will no longer recommend them to anyone. read more

Runs hot and cold. Pedis are generally good and fast, once you get a therapist. You may wait in line for a chair. Then wait another 30 minutes in a chair... My nail guy, Nick is the best with acrylics. Had others who were a disaster. I got here early Sat and will spend close to 4 hrs for a fill and pedi, that should take 90 minutes. Best results on wotkdays before 5. read more

It's very quick and cheap. The nails look fine most of the time (acrylics) and I hear their pedicures are amazing. The people are a little rude, but I guess you get what you pay for. I do not recommend dip nails though, someone recently got an infection through here and they paid for all of her hospital bills. read more

I went to VIP nails for a pedicure and dipped nails. The lady who did my pedicure was rude and very rough, I would never recommend her. I've always had good experiences here. Sometimes the wait can be long, but it's pretty rare. I always leave happy. Also, Amy is wonderful!

The employees were extremely rude, and didn't listen to ANYTHING I said about how I wanted MY nails. The tech didn't do anything with my cuticles and used SCISSORS to cut the acrylic. My nails are crooked, none of the shapes match each other, they're all different lengths, and my whole nail isn't painted. Worst experience I have ever had at any nail salon. Will never return. read more

The lady who gave me a manicure was incredibly rude to me. She slapped my hand twice instead of asking me to move my hand. Also they charged her $40 for dip ( after they changed her mind ) not sure if that's normal but all she did was paint thin dip maybe 4 times . Doesn't seem worth it so me . read more

It wasnt impressed as I hope to be! There's a giant sign that say "THABK YOU FIR YOUT SERVICE from the management team!" I didn't feel like they even wanted my service. I just moved here and I'm looking for a new place to get my nails done regularly and it won't be this place. I know we didn't show up EARLY on Saturday afternoon BUT me and my daughter ran by there 2 hours before close and I asked for pedi's for both of us and a set of Gel nails for me. The lady that did my pedi went to the back and came out and explained "because of the time you come back on Monday to get gel!" Ok I get it, EVERYONE wants off on Saturday night BUT, when you literally have 20 employees walking around playing on their cell phones watching whatever with their feet up in chairs because they have nothing to do....and you DONT WANT TO MAKE AN EXTRA $50 for your business??? Made no sense! And having a timer beside you for your pedicure, I understand it's a busy location but I get a pedi to relax, not to feel like I'm on a timeline. I asked for the most basic because they were in a rush it cost me the same as my daughter $20 a piece! My daughter could have given me the pedi at home and I could have saved that money. I hate to be that way but it's sooo true! Save your money and go somewhere you can enjoy! read more
