I went here for my birthday (which I mentioned and not once did she acknowledge or say happy birthday) - so the "vibe" was awful, and I drove over an hour to this location (because years ago when they could actually service complimentary drinks with service they were actually good at their job). I asked for a full service gel nails with an acrylic set, and gel on toes. The guy that did my toe nails was amazing this review is not about him it's about the lady and service I received on my nails. Her service was awful the lady that did my nails was too busy on her phone with her air pods to even speak to me, seemed annoyed at any questions I asked about nail art and designs, and once nails were done I noticed they were not completely painted meaning the edges were still bare, one of the colors didn't match my inspo photo and she tried to gaslight me that It was the color I wanted was like an olive and what I was given was like a very light gold - so she asked me to pick out another color to fix that nail (it was one nail thankfully) but she was already taking her next client that she rushed me! I tried to see past it all and still tipped 20% (which I regret)!!! Because my nails started lifting within a week! I spent $120 on my nails alone and they last me less than half a month before I had them removed because they were coming off. The place Was clean and each person get their own disposal nail kit. We paid for hot Stone and they weren't ready with the stones but they didn't take any money off the service we did not receive. Well first of all. I would NOT RECOMMEND going too this place . Not only did we have too wait 45 mins too get in , but once we got in , they were very rushed even tho it didn't seem very busy . Although Kim & the woman who appears to be here friend are both very talented & deserve better than 2 stars, the others definitely don't. The girl who usually does my pedicures (Caucasian brunette) is kind & does and ok job, but her hand isn't so steady & she doesn't get rid of skin around my toes unless I ask her to. I walked in and received excellent service. I requested a deluxe pedicure. My technician was Tommy. He listened to me and did exactly what I asked. He took the time to explain what he was going to do. I asked for additional attention to my heels. He asked me if I was pleased with what he had done so far. I asked him for a little bit more on my ball of my foot. He smiled and did my request without making me feel that I was being unreasonable. Overall my experience was 5 stars. Please do not ever get your nails done here. I do not have any picture proof of what they did to my fingers but I can tell you it was terrible. I called ahead to see if they were able to take me because I stopped at VIP nail salon first and they had a 45 minute wait. All I wanted was to remove the outgrown gel polish off my fingers and to have a black regular nail polish put in its place. I'm not a nail tech but that should be a simple job. I only sat for about 15 minutes before someone asked me what I wanted. I said manicure and the lady proceeded to lead me to the foot washing seats for a pedicure. I corrected her and told her I wanted my fingernails painted and she sat me in a chair. Almost immediately after that she asked me to move to a different chair. So I did without question. Then, an older gentleman came to me and was very obviously annoyed and did not seem friendly at all. He never spoke a word to me other than asking me "what is this?" pointing at the remaining outgrown gel polish on my fingernails. I replied with "gel." And asked him to just simply remove it and paint my nails with a black polish that I had picked out as soon as I walked in. He never spoke another word to me which is fine. But he was so rough with me and was shoving my hands down to the table and just throwing them around so rudely. While he was clipping my cuticles back he was literally RIPPING the skin off my fingers. I flinched and drew my hands back in pain several times and all he did was pull my hands back to him with no remorse. By the time my set was done 8 of my 10 fingers were literally bleeding and he did not care at all. But that's not even the worst part. He sits a nail dryer down in front of me before painting my nails and leaves it there without a word. When he finishes painting them, he gets up, goes to the back, and never comes back. At first I thought he was going to get something but then he literally sat down at a pedicure seat and proceeded to start with another customer! I'm sitting there dumbfounded and eventually asked the man doing another woman's nails next to me if I was done. He replied "I don't know. Go ask him." So I get up with wet nails and walk to the back to ask the man if he's done with my nails and he rudley points to the counter and tells me to go pay. I was literally appalled. I paid $25 and left a small tip because I am not a terrible person but long story short, I should have just sat the 45 minutes out at VIP nail salon because that was the worst experience I have ever had at a salon. I can't even begin and I honestly have no words for these people. I'm wasting my energy typing this but I can't help but warn the next person. Pictured below is what I asked for, what she intended on letting me leave with, and what she "fixed" it with. I originally was super excited to visit based on the photos I saw on here of previous work that had been done. I sat in the salon for THREE hours. During the process of my nails, I had to rip my hand away while she was filing because it hurt me. This has happened to me before but I am genuinely convinced that this woman doesn't have a license. They don't interchange their tools and they use dirty files. She asked me if I liked my nails once they were finished (second photo) and I politely said not really, this isn't what I asked for. She let me know that she could fix it with single color gel, and I was originally quoted at 70$. At that point, I let her know that fixing them with a single color wouldn't be a 70$ nail job. I proceeded to sit in my anxiety and let her do her thing. The problem started when she was complaining to her boss or coworker about my nail job being unsatisfactory. At that point, I got up and went to the counter and said I was done. I was not nice and I put 65$ on the counter. The 5$ was her tip because I was so upset. I proceeded to walk out and have my panic attack due to the hostile environment. They sent a tiny girl out to take photos of me and laugh at me while she looked into the window at her coworkers. Or maybe her parents. She didn't look to be over 18 at all. I got off of the phone once I was calmed down and went to walk towards my car and this girl came towards me and disrespectfully said "You have to pay!". At that point I was already so upset that I was belligerent and walked inside and had my words with the entire salon. She realized that I had set my money down and I left. If you have any amount of sensitivity, anxiety, or anything that inhibits your ability to say how you feel I would not recommend going. They will not be honest with you on their abilities or talents, they just want to take your money and for you to be quiet. I won't be getting my nails done for a long time. Hopefully I don't get an infection. I will be contacting the state board as well. read more

Not worth your time or money. My nails are not smooth at all and have bubbles in them and rushed through a full set in less than 15 mins. My pedicure was okay. But my sister with me waited thirty minutes after her pedicure to even get her toes painted. Another customer that was clearly 9 months pregnant came in with her boyfriend to get pedicures and she waited so long that they finished his pedicure and didn't even get hers done. So she left too. I asked for a design for Halloween and the girl said she could try. It was a cross as a tombstone and she couldn't do it. So she attempted to draw a pumpkin on a "matte" base. The matte was supposed to be purple and ended up looking grey. I called back later to see if they could fix what they did because I was not please with their job. I was really disappointed with the lack of professionalism. I went in at 6:30 and they acted like I came in after hours. A customer had made a scene as I was seated for a pedi. The woman working spoke about how customers were very rude and made racist comments. The woman doing my nails began to play youtube music as she very slowly finished my pedi. I didn't leave until 7:45 because she was too focused on gossiping and playing on her phone. On top of it all, my toe nails are not even and the polish covering my entire nail. WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE IGNORE THE GOOD REVIEWS. THEY ADD ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR EVERYTHING. MANICURE ENDED UP BEING $7 OVER WHAT THE MENU SAID. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER SEEN. Let me preface this with the fact that I have NEVER EVER left a negative review for anything. I have never sent my food back at a restaurant, I don't complain about prices at stores. I am not super picky about things, and really just not one to cause a scene, but this experience was so horrible I had to write about it. I have served tables for three years and seen a lot of people complain, and I know a lot about customer service, and this is by far the worst ive ever seen a customer treated by an employee. I am a junior in college and don't have tons of money. I wanted to get my nails done as a special treat to myself for finishing my hardest finals. A friend told me My Nail Bar is nice, so I went there. It has a very upscale look. Typically I pay about 22-25 for a full set of acrylics, but here is was 28 on the menu. I figured it would be extra great because of how nice it looked inside. I WAS SO WRONG. I waited about 10 minutes, and an employee just arrived. She mumbled at me to come over but I didn't hear her. Once she sat down she gave me a rude look that made me realize I was supposed to go over there. I told her I wanted a full set of acrylics. There was no greeting or anything. She took off my nail polish and got up and left. I sat there for 10 minutes before a man who looked around 40 told me he would finish me up. Great. Still had high hopes. I was so excited about getting my nails done and had literally been talking about it for a few days leading up to it. He starts filing my nails with the drill and he was pushing so hard it hurt. I very politely let him know that it hurt AND THE MAN ROLLED HIS EYES AND SIGHED AND DIDNT STOP. The look I like with acrylics is a shorter nail with a round tip and I always get a solid color. Today I wanted an accent nail of another color. He was gluing my nails on, and put two on crooked. When he was done putting them all on I asked him to fix it and he mumbled something like "oh my god" and pulled the nails off instead of soaking them, ripping my natural nail. When he did that the first time i was shocked and it really hurt. I asked him to please be a little more gentle and he was like "i'm just trying to fix this stuff because nothing is good enough for you." I sat there and was quiet because I of course just wanted a nice time and didnt want to make a scene. He then asked me what shape i wanted and I told him i like them short and round and pretty natural looking. He then told me it's $5 to shape nails. FIVE EXTRA DOLLARS? LIKE THIS IS STANDARD. WHO DOESNT SHAPE THOSE LONG PLASTIC NAILS. THIS IS STANDARD. He then told me it was $2 extra because I wanted an accent nail. Since i never do designs or french tips, I always get charged the base rate. I had never paid more than $25 for a full set, and I've been to a lot of salons. This set was going to cost $35. I would not have come had I known it would be so much. I told him that he was upcharging me for something that is included in most services and he just rolled his eyes at me. I really didn't like how rude he was being, but if he did a great job, I didn't care. He started cutting all of my nails into points, and did not round out the tops. I kindly told him I wanted round nails, and he told me he wanted to give me nails with a pointy shape. I pulled up a picture on pinterest of what I wanted and showed him. He kinda rounded out the sharp point, but it was so not the shape I wanted, or the shape in the picture. I asked him nicely if he would shape them a little more like the picture and this man goes "oh my god you are crazy you wont let me do what I want and I'm doing that you want and you keep changing it." I have never had a nail tech complain about the shape I wanted or say they couldnt do it. I feel like it's a very basic shape so I didn't understand his issue. I politely said I would like someone else to finish up my nails. He stood up, slammed his hands and tools on the table and said loudly "GOOD!" i was shocked. Never have i seen a customer treated like that. The place was packed and everyone turned and looked. I was very embarrassed. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a nice experience and it was horrible. He then started slamming stuff in the are behind me and saying I was crazy and all this stuff and I just looked at him and said "please stop talking about me and to me. Getting your nails done is supposed to be enjoyable and this is terrible." He continued to talk to me and slam things around, and everyone was looking. I was shaking and mortified. I said I would pay $10 for the tips he glued on me, but then I would be leaving. Another employee PICKED UP MY PHONE AND WOULDNT LET ME LEAVE AND TOLD ME SHE WOULD FINISH.
