Max is just so knowledgeable and I learn something new every time that I didn't know before. Wether it's a minor procedure or something major, I'm always very relaxed throughout the whole process. This review is from Jan 2018. When I looked in the mirror all I saw was my nasolabial folds. I only had $650, enough money for one Juvaderm syringe. Dr. Max was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. He didn't really want to inject filler yet, knowing I should wait until I could get enough money for at least two syringes (he offered a discount for the 2nd syringe!) because he was afraid I just wouldn't get the results I wanted to see. I talked him into doing the one. Boy what a huge difference it made! Best $650 I ever spent and it lasted 3 years!! Last year I was to the point I cried every time I looked in the mirror. My Sister she spend $2200 worth of fillers for me. Boy was I ecstatic! She wanted me to go to Skin By Lovely. All that got me there was 2 syringes of radiesse and zero noticeable results! Now the money is spent and I'm left ugly and insecure. Sure wish I had talked my Sister into going to Dr.Max! I know for almost $3000, (I paid $860 for 36 units of botox on top of what my sister paid) had gone to Dr Max I would look 10 years younger today! read more

I had a bad experience with Michelle the injector. She walked into the room with an attitude and didn't even greet me. She was very unprofessional and asked me if I had questions and her answers were very short, it seemed as she was in a hurry. She didn't smile once and before she started working on the procedure she just asked me if I was ready, never explained what she was going to do. After she was done, I had asked if I needed to come back for a follow up, she said: "There's no need for a follow up, there won't be any issues". Who says that to their patients/customers?! Needles to say, I ended up coming for a follow up because my lips were lumpy and I didn't see any difference in my lips after a couple days. If she would've explained that in the first place I wouldn't have wasted $500 down the drain. However, it's not about the money, I am more frustrated with her attitude and the way she acted than with the results. I am so done with this place! Apparently, the owner needs to train his employees on how to respect their customers. Don't waste time or money on this place! Guess it explains why they give out the specials in the magazines unlike most places. read more

Michelle is horrible.... but I love everyone else. I've been getting microneedle treatments from Jen and I am very satisfied. Christine is always helpful at the front desk and always in a good mood. Yes, this place is great. They just need to get rid of Michelle or educate her on aseptic technique and customer service. She was not very friendly the first time I received Botox from her but decided to give her a second chance. The second time she was 45 minutes late and didn't bother to apologize or acknowledge how long I was waiting. She then proceeded to try to inject me without cleansing the area with alcohol. When I asked her if she was going to clean the area she said "oh" and used a dry alcohol swab. Anyway, I have bruises all around my eyes from where she placed the Botox and slight swelling. So I've been to Medi Spa many times for Latisse which I LOVE, but this visit was for my first experience with lip injections. I'm 58 and my upper lip was definitely smaller and less defined. My lower lip was ok but nothing great. I had considered lip injections for some time but was nervous about it but my visit with Michele removed all anxiousness. Michele is very professional and full of tips and information on the procedure and things I might experience afterwards. She is a true talent and I am incredibly happy with my results. She explained what she was going to do and why....like building up my lip line. For 2 days I was puffy but not crazy puffy and Michele had told be to expect this. But I on day 3 I look normal with a teeny tiny bruise which i can cover easily with lipgloss. Overall the clean facility, wonderful front staff and last but not least, Michele have made my dream come true...I now have normal but fuller lips. Highly recommend Michele. I love this place! I have gotten lip filler 3 times now by Michelle and she's amazing. I get very nervous and they are super calming and relaxing ! They numb you really well so you barley feel a thing! And I healed all 3 times so quickly with barley any discomfort. They are very informative as well. This place doesn't respect the customer's time, and tells stories to make up for their lack of service. I booked an appointment a week out telling the receptionist I was interested in addressing my wrinkles and acne- possibly Botox for my immense frowny lines and a facial. I had thought maybe I could make the appointment for a facial first, Botox second. She said they wanted to assess my skin before booking the facial. Alrighty. Not exactly convenient to have two separate appointments, but I will give them a try. Arrived on time, fill out some forms, and got the lengthy spiel from the receptionist. Despite their website and what I was told on the phone, they actually do not offer facials. I was told today that they "used to," and planned on doing it again, once the "towels they ordered came in." So there was no appointment for me to even make for a facial. The line about "wanting to assess your skin first" was a bunch of crap. Frown. After getting pitched a few products, I was told that the doctor was still "at lunch," and would be back shortly. Frown. 30 minutes go by, and she comes to tell me that she's just "waiting for a room" for me. Frown. Note, I am the only person in the entire office. None of the rooms are occupied. It's dead silent in there. Ooookay. She hands me some product samples and leaves again. Frown... I have now been waiting 60 minutes. Still no doctor. Frown!!! I get up to leave, saying my appointment was an hour ago. She corrects me, "Well your consult was an hour ago, not your appointment." Uh, when was my appointment, then? She asks me if I want to reschedule. ....?! read more

Worse experience ever: Lack of professionalism, scheduling conflicts, and poor management. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with this business. Let me break down the pros and cons that made me write about this establishment: Pros: 1. A "Doctor" works there (I never actually verified his credentials) 2. They are "conveniently located" by I-205 (in case you come from Seattle or faraway). 3. They have magazines, so you can read one or seven, depends how long they leave you waiting. 4. All their reviews have at least one star on google and yelp (sarcasm). 5. If you want to use their services you MUST get used to wait 20 to 40 minutes on every appointment. (For the record... Biggest waste of 600 bucks I've ever spent. I finally took the step to get my lips straightened out, and went to get fillers. A friend recommended Dr. Max, but instead they pushed me into going to Michelle, and now that I watch videos of how lips are usually done, she has a very different technique. I was not told how to take care of lips afterwards and so on. Fast forward two weeks, the filler lumped up at the bottom of my lips, and I was walking around with a lip that was completely droopy to one side due to the huge lump in it. People started asking what is wrong with my lip. Talk about embarrassment, instead of fixing my insecurity, it only made it much worse. I went back and the only way to fix the lumps was to get reversible injections that dissolve the filler. It only did so much, lip is still a bit droopy when I smile, and my lip is back to the same size as before. I begged them for a refund or even to get a different service instead, but there's nothing they can do apparently. Save yourselves money and don't even waste your time here. I'm not usually a review kind of person, but I don't want anyone to feel the way I do.. read more

I visited the Medspa last year for Botox. The facility is ok, but I like places that are a little warmer and less clinical. The Dr. is friendly seems to be a nice guy, and he gave me what seemed to be a good treatment, but I think the treatment should have lasted a little longer. Maybe I did not get enough, or maybe it was diluted a little too much.... Anyway, I wish it would have lasted a longer, 3 months just is not enough when you are paying these clinic prices. read more
