I only fly out of Tijuana airport in the morning, so at that time this Lounge has been fairly clean and easy to access for me. They don't post their menu, but the servers will let you know what hot items they have for breakfast (like molletes). You can also asked for fried eggs. They usually have one bar open and some self-serve snacks. IMO this lounge is big. I usually only see 1-2 servers and another person by the bar, so it gets hard to flag someone down as it gets crowded. I always tip here because the staff are speedy and get you extra water, refills etc. This is way better than the Aspire lounge in San DIego - that lounge gets a 1 star. TJ lounge is more like 3.5. I'd rate it higher, but later in the morn there are usually too many large groups, crying children and people taking up space sleeping across multiple seats. WiFi is strong!

This is my second time at this lounge It has extremely clean bathrooms with dedicated cleaning staff Check in easy You can order coffee at the counter and there's a self serve fruit and toast and cereal Or you can grab a table and there are a few food options, which are just fine . I usually get the chili kilos and then I can order scrambled eggs with ham because it comes with a side of beans. I like the beans. The last visit I did not drink because I was here with17 year-old kids for their spring break. Today I am on my own so having a couple of 8 AM Palomas.! They can make you a coffee almost anyway you like unless you like eccentric Starbucks stuff. I've had leane cappuccinos here and they're great. I've been in better lounges. I've been worst lounges and I'm very happy here. It's definitely better than the one at the San Diego airport.

Amazing lounge, great hospitality. Michelada was top notch, great way to start the vacay off

Its a comfortable enough lounge and pretty much the only one in the TJ Airport so there's not much to complain about. Wifi has always been strong and bathrooms clean. The bathrooms even have a shower which could come in clutch. There are 2 bars, but only 1 has ever been open during my visits. You can order food and drinks here, but you need to get creative in asking what hot foods they have because it's not immediately noticeable. Early mornings, the coffee drinks are always a solid. They even serve alcohol in the morning... The michelada (which I did not have in the morning, but afternoon), was super enjoyable. Some self-serve cold foods on the side of the bar, but the pickings have been a miss for me. Again, you can order hot foods and if you can figure out what they have, they have someone serve it directly to you at your seat. It has never been busy when I've gone, but as it is the only lounge, I am sure it is sought after.

The eggs and has was pretty good the beans were definitely the best part.

For being airport food it was surprisingly pretty good, service was decent but could be better. Beers are cold and plenty of charging ports.

A little different than the other priority pass lounges I've been to but in a good way! I stopped in before my early am flight. I walked in to find a seat and found myself followed by a server. The server asked what I wanted to drink and eat. I had to ask what the options were so it would be nice if the selection is posted somewhere. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich, the cucumbers with tajin and lime, and cookies. My favorite was the cucumbers!

Our traveling groups' first time at VIP Lounge in Tijuana airport. We figured let's give all the lounges a trial run for a year, see what each has to offer since on an average trip, $10- $40 is being spent at the airport on food and drinks alone. I was excited to see TJ's VIP lounge. I wasn't sure what to expect since my experience in Vallarta last year was unfavorable. My friend invited me to Vallarta's VIP lounge, very minimal food (cookies and crackers don't count), no space, close quarters, packed and very poor service. I remember seeing 4-5 "cooks" in the kitchen making sandwiches but only 1 person posted at the so-called food area. What Vallarta's lounge did have was plenty of beverages. The entire upstairs and downstairs was packed, including the bar. Lots of standing around against the walls and not enough chairs to sit on. Back to TJ lounge... As we walked past the elevator doors that lead into the TJ's VIP lounge, I was immediately impressed. Huge amounts of lounging area everywhere, lots of space between each lounging section and roomy aisles everywhere. The lounge looked modern with contemporary furnishings and decor. Not much of wall decor but aesthetically, bare wall was ok. Liked: lounge is on second level, mass amount of chairs, variety of lounge areas, televisions everywhere and large windows able to see giant flight monitor. Chilaquiles was delicious! The sauce had a special taste, different from others. Can't place it. Disliked: not made aware that salad bar was available and that no server should ever show an annoyed facial expression when VIP member request for more food items. Alejandro, pls watch your manners - customer service. You were tipped, remember Our overall experience at TJ VIP lounge has been a nice and calming experience Recommend

I had to self serve a glass of water. No ice available. No service from any of the staff I saw

This is my fourth time in this particular PP lounge. I've only managed to get a server one time. It wasn't this time. I've used PP lounges all over (including others in Mexico). I don't know what's wrong with this one but seriously, don't waste your time coming up here.

Overcrowded and not many food options compared to other lounges. I walked in and out. Check in counter lady was nice and fast.

Every other time, I have been able to quickly access this swanky lounge and eat and drink away as if it were my last meal on earth. The food is always delicious. And in case you though there weren't enough options already at the buffet, there's a whole separate menu you can order from by scanning the QR code at your table. There are plenty of outlets for charging. There are spa services, but I can't speak for those (yet). I am also an AMEX Platinum cardholder and although I didn't think Chase could out-do the Centurion lounges, Sapphire Reserve is on par or has a slight edge. Also, you can bring at least one guest into the Chase lounge whereas for US-based Centurion lounges, AMEX cardholders have to spend $75,000 annually to enjoy the same guest benefit.

I don't care how nice this lounge is and I've been here a bunch of times with my husband. Not cool.

Even though I have both the Sapphire Reserve and Ritz Card they refused me entry until 3 hours before the flight. I understand that rule is if you are not on a layover, but there definitely should be an exemption if you are laying over in San Diego (isn't that really the whole point of a lounge anyways?) I'd also be fine with the 3 hour rule if the lounge was full, but again... it was pretty empty in there and I was a party of 1. Wish they would adapt the policy.

The lounge itself is classy and has a refined ambience. It was surprisingly crowded at 7am, but we managed to get a small table. You can get food and drinks at the buffet though the selection is small, but you can also order food to be delivered to your table by scanning a bar code on your table. I ordered made-to-order scrambled eggs and sausage which arrived surprisingly quickly. One bite told me it was pre-made as the eggs and sausage were both cold. I got pastry from the bar and it was stale. The espresso machine was out of order so had to get pre-made coffee, which tasted watered down. The service ladies were friendly, the interior was nice albeit crowded, but the food was very disappointing. Wife liked it a little more than I did but not by much.

It's better to wait in here rather than in the gate areas because it is a little calmer & less hectic, but the food selection is really subpar compared to other lounges like the Delta Sky lounge or Centurion lounges. The bar was open. There's a fancy coffee machine & some iced tea & horchata on tap. There's basically continental breakfast offerings available like toast, bagels, cottage cheese, cold cuts, cheese, mini muffins, fruit & boiled eggs. I mean it's fine, but totally underwhelming. Service was okay. One good thing is that the place wasn't too crowded, so that's a plus. It's better than nothing, but a premium or luxury experience, it was not. Peace.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would…read more The people are nice. The drinks are fine. That's the entire list of positives. Everything else feels like a lounge that's been given up on. Start with the room itself. Tables sit uncleared for 30 minutes to an hour--plates, glasses, trash just stacking up while people circle like it's musical chairs. The carpet is visibly stained, and the "wood" flooring is literally peeling up in places. Not worn--failing. Then you notice the details. Paint peeling. Fixtures beat up. Bathrooms that look like they haven't seen a proper wipe-down in a while--dirty counters, rough doors, zero sense of upkeep. It's not one thing--it's everything. And the food... if you can call it that. It looks exactly like this--(see photo)--a sad, picked-over spread that feels closer to a neglected motel breakfast than an airport lounge. Nothing looks fresh. Nothing looks intentional. It's just there. The coffee machines? Constantly broken. Not a fluke--consistently down. In an airport lounge. Let that sink in. The overarching theme is simple: everything technically exists, but nothing actually works. No attention to detail, no pride, no standard. I've been in crowded lounges. I've been in dated lounges. I've been in mediocre lounges. This is the first one that just feels poorly run at every level.
