I was trying to check in with a guy on a tablet and when he told me I would be on the wait list I was bummed and a nice gentleman that was getting called in brought me in as his plus one so I did not have to wait. He was awesome and seriously the real MVP because all of the lounges had a wait. We had literally the best dinner and everything was phenomenal. I'd say one of the Top 10 lounges. I even took home some chocolate chip cookies for someone special. The staff were super friendly and quick.

What. A. Lounge. I have been a Chase Sapphire Reserve holder for a very long time and have never been to a Sapphire Lounge. I am glad I finally got the chance to. This lounge is definitely one of the nicest ones I have been to. Below are some highlights. First off, Jillian is amazing. She was super professional and made sure our stay was top notch. I would come back just for her customer service. The food and drinks here are awesome. There are premade items around the lounge but you can also scan a QR code and get made to order food as well such as burgers and tacos and cocktails. Everything I got was amazing. The lounging areas are super comfortable with plenty of outlets. Seating can be a bit limited especially for larger parties. WiFi is also super fast. I was lucky enough to get a facial while here. What a treat. I have been to many lounges before but never one that has an esthetician on site for facials. Marissa was super detailed and was awesome. Make sure to tip them! I felt ready to get in the drying airplane cabin. I am definitely getting to the San Diego airport early and hitting this lounge up every time I am here. Amazing job staff!

Wow! This is a very nice Chase lounge. We are here a couple hours before our flight home and pleasantly surprised. They have a QR code that has made to order items as well as specialty cocktails, and drinks that you can have ordered to your table so make sure you take a look at that. If you want cocktails other than what is on the app just go ask the bartender- we had a very tasty margarita! The food offering was set up very nicely with a great variety of small plates. The blackened salmon was absolutely amazing. Everything was very tasty, hot if it was supposed to be, and not if it wasn't. Service was excellent. They were several people coming around asking if we needed anything. The bathrooms are spotless as well. This is a great place to relax before your flight can highly recommend.

I've been wanting to check out the Chase Sapphire Lounge in San Diego. I finally got to go with my husband. It was pretty big and with lots of people, but we easily found a table. The food was tasty- salmon and burger with fries. There were many drink options. We did not get to stay long since our flight was at a different terminal. Definitely would like to go back sometime.

This is an excellent airport lounge; unsurprisingly, as I've been pretty impressed with other chase lounges that I've been to. Luckily there was no wait when I went although seating was definitely running low. It's a smaller lounge compared to, say, LaGuardia, but I appreciated the range of seating joined (eg booths, windows, etc). I had an excellent Bloody Mary and a decent breakfast of eggs and an arugula salad made to order. As is typical of chase lounges, they also had a buffet-style selection of small plates to accompany your meal. The sweet potato frittata was a standout although in general I highly prefer their "made to order" food. As for drinks, they have the standard fare - coffee/espresso, sparkling waters, cocktails, etc. Service was quick and efficient; I noticed that food came out more quickly than I'm accustomed to in these lounges. Glad this lounge is here and would definitely return in a heartbeat.

Date of Visit: 2.25.2026 Location: SAN airport Cuisine Type: Lounge Vibe: Chill Cost: CSR membership Service: Solid Food/ Rating: -4/5- I appreciate the protein options. I think that was a solid burger has all the qualities of a good burger (substantial bun, meaty beef, and toppings that mesh well (avocado is kind of a hack)) The salmon and rice was so good...tender salmon with this glaze and spice. That squash with ricotta was kinda weird since that was a crispy squash was expecting something more soft like kabocha. Overall Thoughts: Best Thing I ate: Salmon with rice...Good protein not over cooked and substantial Something to Improve: That caesar salad looks unique but straight up ridiculous to eat either chop it up or but the toppings on the side? Probably better to be eaten as a lettuce wrap dish

OMG! I wish i could come here every time i was at the airport. Alas i only get to come once per year. The "normal" lounge lacks any good food. this place had small bites set out for self service then i saw a QR code that we could order better food!!!! omg we got a few bites. i also had a couple espresso martini's to start my day. everything about this lounge was amazing!! see you in 2027. Really makes me want a chase sapphire card.

A bit far from the other terminals and lounge but worthy the walk to terminal 47. Friendly greeting and wonderful staff waiting to serve you. From scanned menu items, to well prepared meals.. definitely with the stoppage. Ample space for the each individuals taste to select from. Wonderful center bar.

This is a great lounge in SD and probably one of the best perks of the Chase Sapphire Reserve card! Food was surprisingly great, cocktails were on point, and there was plenty of adequate seating. All of the staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was nicely upscale and clean. Highlights: + The burger and fries was strangely good! Better than the same one I ordered in the NYC Sapphire lounge. The food made to order is better than the buffet food for sure + Lots of seating and quick wait times to enter the lounge +They have a room with comfy chairs, light curtains, and calming ambient noise that I tried - great for resting my eyes This lounge is leaps and bounds ahead of so many others in San Diego and on the west coast in general, especially as it's just a card-based lounge and not even business/first. Definitely worth stopping by here!

I was in a rush and just wanted a quick pick me up before boarding at a gate nearby. The staff greeted me warmly and I quickly got checked in. The lounge is beautiful with lots of different areas. I got food service from Angela and also Cynthia. Also was greeted and tended to by Ronnie. They were excellent and went above and beyond with their service! I was able to get some food (which was delicious) within 5 minutes. I had the pork belly taco, salmon and rice bowl, and a diet coke. I didn't have time for dessert but their 3 leches cake looked divine! I would definitely go back!

I was a bit worried given I'm an Amex platinum nobody... ya know the type... using their priority pass without any restaurant privileges... but clacking our metal cards like those in the very exclusive club of everyone... Basically we get one crack at the lounge here, us nobodies... we get one special chance of the year to feel those who were smart enough to get a credit card who would bring a lounge to San Diego... I mean you could pay $75 for another crack ... but .... The space is freaking light years away from the other lounge options here. You almost feel like you're somewhere else... like an airport with proper lounges! It's very centurion lounge feeling without the Greyhound bus stop open air purgatory that Aspire lounge has. For those who travel a lot, this lounge feels line when you put on your jacket and feel as if you can face the world. Aspire feels like dusting off the knee pads for the many compromises you'll be sure to face. Anyways, the food is kinda shit. Yeah I said it! Better than any other lounge here though. The signature noodles are a mess... congealed noodles with a hit of peanut sauce (yay?)... it goes on and on. . Just a damn mess. But again better than anything on offer here. Service is insanely good. I felt like a very elderly dowager... one with no children and great wealth. Everyone being so very nice and helpful! Like they were after my nonexistent inheritance! Minus some energy cuz they were playing Christmas music after Christmas... I mean come on. Camilla enjoyed her time and that's all we can really hope for... everything else is icing !

This place is run so perfectly. It's a big space, and very accommodating. However, people need to understand that it can fill up and you may experience a wait at busier times of the day. The service, food and drinks all deserve a five star rating. Food options are more than enough, and the quality of food is quite good. We loved our drinks and the lunch we had, it definitely beats other options in the airport where you would overpay for something that is just mediocre. The staffing here is rather impressive, they are definitely not cutting any corners in their operations. If you've visited before you'll know and understand that QR code ordering is down between 10:30 and 11am as they shift from breakfast to lunch. Praise the positive, this place rocks and sometimes you just need to get in early before the crowds arrive, or understand - there could be a wait !

Number one they let us in! Last time they were not accepting Priority Card holders. The lounge is spacious but what makes it is the made to order items. I ordered the breakfast sandwich that had eggs, bacon, avocado, arugula and a tomato pesto. The French toast as well but the only knock was that neither were hot even though it took about 15 minutes to be delivered. Still better than most lounges. Service is great front the reception desk to the servers. Glad it's here at SAN!

Start with the room itself. Tables sit uncleared for 30 minutes to an hour--plates, glasses, trash just stacking up while people circle like it's musical chairs. The carpet is visibly stained, and the "wood" flooring is literally peeling up in places. Not worn--failing. Then you notice the details. Paint peeling. Fixtures beat up. Bathrooms that look like they haven't seen a proper wipe-down in a while--dirty counters, rough doors, zero sense of upkeep. It's not one thing--it's everything. And the food... if you can call it that. It looks exactly like this--(see photo)--a sad, picked-over spread that feels closer to a neglected motel breakfast than an airport lounge. Nothing looks fresh. Nothing looks intentional. It's just there. The coffee machines? Constantly broken. Not a fluke--consistently down. In an airport lounge. Let that sink in. The overarching theme is simple: everything technically exists, but nothing actually works. No attention to detail, no pride, no standard. I've been in crowded lounges. I've been in dated lounges. I've been in mediocre lounges. This is the first one that just feels poorly run at every level.
