Andrea has been life changing with our Shih Tzu who has nervous and barking tendencies and has also been patient with us as new dog owners. She helps us understand our dog's triggers and his body cues for when he feels overwhelmed or flooded and we finally realized what has been making him so anxious. She has given us many exercises and activities to help our dog feel more confident and keep his brain engaged and busy. Thanks Andrea!!!! read more

Besides the actual move, finding a new dog walker for your pup is probably one of the most stressful tasks. After a not so great experience with the first company I chose, I went back to do some more research and found Andrea. It's been fantastic so far and I couldn't be more relieved that Bowser is in such great care. Andrea and John are quick with responding, are super accommodating with Bowser, and I love getting daily photos/updates with the GPS showing where they've walked. We currently do the VIP monthly package ($350) for 30 minutes a day, but their walks have been much longer, usually an hour or so! Bowser definitely seems to be loving the walks with his buddies. read more

This is one of the things that happen when you drop off your best friend to get groomed at V.I.P. CANINE in West New York . He gets bit by another dog. The owner claims he got cut up in the crate. Logan was rushed to the vet where the vet stated it clearly was a dog bite & required stitches. Thankfully He made it through surgery. The owner of V.I.P. Canine still has not provided us with the TRUTH. We don't know which dog but him. If they are up to date w their vaccines. We know nothing. To add insult to injury, she never ONCE apologized or seemed concerned about what happen to Oir dog while in HER CARE. This is not the type of person who should be trusted with your pets. read more

VIP Canine is an amazing family run business and it's been a life saver for me and my pup, Hari. Hari loves his walks with Miriam and his other dog friends. Miriam always sends detailed updates and pictures. When I am sitting at my desk stressed about the next deliverable, these pictures just make my day and give me so much peace of mind knowing Hari is in good hands. The owner, Andrea is super accommodating and so pleasant to work with and is prompt with communication! Ladies - You guys are lifesavers and thank you for everything you do! read more

I wish I could give VIP Canine 6 stars!! We have been getting walks for our pup for over a year and couldn't be happier! Our pup loves VIP because they are consistent, caring and if she doesn't seem like herself (ex slight limp, lethargic, ect) the walkers leave detailed information (currently in a notebook titled "Ms. H's Adventures" and there has been word of the walkers getting an app to check in and out as well) to help us keep her happy and healthy. We love VIP because they are dependable, professional, pleasant and reasonably priced. We have a cat too and VIP's walkers (and owner) go out of their way to show him some love too. VIP goes above and beyond. I was so excited to hear that they are going to be opening up a store in West New York, NJ!!! read more

What a fantastic family owned and ran business. They go out of their way to ensure the care and needs of our dog are met every day, even outside their working hours. Thank you, Andrea and John, for making Luna feel loved in addition to the patient and practical training you have provided to date. read more

Can't Thank Andrea and her crew enough!! Andrea took care of our furry babies over the Thanksgiving Holiday, back and forth to our home to take care of our cat Baby Cakes & she welcomed Dino and Lola into her home/daily routine for a few days and we could not be more pleased at her great service and great care she took with our kids!!! They actually seemed bored when they got home as I am sure they were missing hanging out with Andrea and her pack on their own little doggie vacation !! Thanks Andrea for such great care! read more

I highly recommend VIP Canine! We originally started using VIP Canine for grooming services, Andrea was the first to give our dog Charlie his now signature mohawk. She is a talented doggie stylist! Eventually we started using their dog walking service as her rates were more competitive than the company we had been using previously. Andrea's walkers show up on time, are very friendly, and take good care of Charlie. He gets walked with a few other dogs in the neighborhood so they are usually out for 30min - 1hr, which is great. We've also boarded Charlie with Andrea a few times and he seems to enjoy himself. Overall the VIP Canine team is professional, trustworthy, and they care about pets - a great local business! read more

VIP Canine is seriously the best dog walking service I could ask for. When I moved to Union City from Brooklyn I decided to get my French bulldog pup and Andrea and her whole team were with me from the beginning. I can't tell you what a stress reliever it has been to know that they come by during the day to care for my baby boy! I got my pup at just 3 months old, and within two weeks he was fully house trained and I attribute a lot of that to Andrea and her team of superhero dog walkers who came by initially twice a day to make sure my little pup could relieve himself. Now he only needs to be walked once a day, but I know that walk is something he has to look forward to everyday while I'm away at work. I work pretty long hours (typically leaving at 8:30AM and not getting home until 7:15) so it's great to know that someone is coming by to make sure my pup gets some exercise and relief. Andrea has also been great about responding right away about my last minute requests for someone to come by at night and feed him on those unexpected work nights where I'm staying late or need to go to an event. She's also walked my boyfriend's dog a few times when his pup has been staying with me for an extended period of time and it's been absolutely the most simple and easy process. Andrea really knows and understands dogs and always has great advice for nutrition and care of my boy. She just goes above and beyond! In the early weeks, my pup came down with a very serious virus, and she was super supportive during that time and very accommodating, making sure he went on solo walks since he couldn't be around other dogs and making sure he stayed hydrated while I was a nervous wreck away at work. I would HIGHLY recommend Andrea and her team at VIP Canine. I simply can't say enough great things about them and am so happy to have Andrea and her team as my little guy's besties during the day while I'm gone. Thanks so much VIP Canine!!!!!!! read more

Andrea is the best dog sitter/groomer you will ever have. Not only did she take care of my goldendoodle but treated him with love and care. Everytime I needed her she took time to attend to my dogs needs. Her vip canine club is called vip because she can actually pick up your dog while your at work and she sends you pictures or a text just to give you updates on how your dog is doing. Her grooming charges are also very reasonable and she will work with your schedule. Her flexibility and understanding of dogs & animals is just one of her greatest assets. I mean I could go on and on but in my opinion is she is the best in this business and I wouldn't have any other person but Andrea to take care of my beautiful golden doodle. Don't go to other dog sitters Andrea is awesome. You should try her services and give it a chance. James read more

I called before I went in to see if they had time for a walk-in. They had an opening about a half hour from when I called. They got my Sophie in immediately and I was in and out within 45-60 minutes. Grant that my dog is only 6lbs, so larger dogs would probably take longer. The team there was kind, courteous, and very friendly. I'll be taking Sophie back there in the future. read more

Otis' favorite person besides his family is Daniel, his dog walker since last year. The only time Otis gladly leaves my side is when Daniel comes to take him for his daily walk. Seriously my clingy dog absolutely LOVES and adores his VIP team. I can assure you as a long time customer that VIP Canine provides top of the line, personalized service. This is why I love supporting local small businesses because you really cant beat the customer service. Every interaction I've had with the owner Andrea has been personalized and Otis-focused and I appreciate her and her team so much. We have been doing the monthly VIP walks package which gives us other great discounts on services like training or boarding. All their walks are GPS tracked including information about whether he's peed or pooped and pictures of Otis on his walk with his friends. Actually, as I'm writing this Otis is at Andrea's for boarding as we are away from home this weekend. He always loves his time at Andrea's and I wouldn't feel comfortable with anybody else. Please give them a try, you won't regret it. read more

Andrea was so amazing with my dog Hanzel for a whole year!! I was always having things come up last minute, and she was so flexible and never said she couldn't. Ok this dog walking service is absolutely amazing! Andrea has taken the time to get to know me and my dog quite well in a very short time. Yesterday she went above and beyond and at the last minute came out in the snow (we were stuck in traffic for hours) and walked our Smiley. She not only walks him but reinforces what our private dog trainer is teaching him/us. She has a very good way with our dog and you can see how naturally and easily she knows her way around dogs. She treats my dog as though it was her own! The prices are reasonable and I am so glad to have her and her company right near my condo! read more

Dog Sitting: We used VIP Canine to watch our puppy Charlie for a 12-day stay, and we were very happy with how well he was treated. Andrea was in the middle of moving house and still took our business despite the inconvenience it must have caused. While we were away, Andrea emailed us to make sure we knew Charlie was doing well. The free pick-up and drop-off service makes things so much easier at our end. Dog Walking: Impressed by the service we received, we decided to hire VIP Canine for dog-walking. We don't have them on a regular schedule, instead we just make contact on the odd occasion when we need Charlie walked. We could not be happier with the professionalism of VIP's operation, and with the genuine care shown for our dog. read more

We love VIP Canine. I used Andrea for private sessions for my new rescue pup back in the fall and just decided that I am going to purchase a new pack of sessions because she helped us so much. She is definitely the dog whisperer. She knows everything about dogs, their needs, wants, fears, and can read your pup immediately. I wish she owned a doggy daycare so we could send our pup to her! We love her! read more

I haven't left a review for VIP Canine since I first move to the area over 5 years ago, so I thought it was time for an update/refresh. After all this time (and growing competition in the area), I still choose them to take care of my big boy - a big, blind, now senior mastiff - and although they've grown as a business, their service and care has always maintained the highest standards and quality, which sometimes gets lost as companies grow. Not VIP Canine! I use VIP Canine for walks and boarding. I know I can trust Andrea and John (owners) like family members, and their staff are reliable and trust-worthy as well. They treat each individual pet with care and love, and they are also sensitive to those who are older and/or with special needs. I have no worries or feelings of discomfort when my boy is in their care whether it be for 1 afternoon walk or 10 days. Thank you, Andrea, John, and the entire VIP Canine staff. read more

Best dog walkers I've ever used. We've used other walkers living all over the NYC area and our experience with VIP has been far superior to any other service we've experienced. Some of my favorite things I want to mention: The App: Their app for scheduling/checking your walks is awesome. It has a user friendly interface and makes it easy to check on the status of your walks. The walkers (who are all great!) take a pic of your pup and their walking buddies and upload it to the app after each walk. Bottom line, its just easy. Schedule the upcoming week on your phone and forget about it. They take care of the rest. The Walkers: Each walker has been great. They have been nothing but reliable, extremely friendly, and send you updates via the app at the start and end of each walk letting you know what business was taken care of, how far they walked, etc. They'll also bring the pups to the dog park on some walks and let them get some energy out! Whenever our pup sees one of his walkers on the street when I'm walking with him, he always gets so excited to see them, which is a great sign! Shoutout to John, Stephanie, Miriam, and Angelica! All are awesome. Availability and flexibility: VIP has always been EXTREMELY accommodating and flexible when it comes to our work/walk schedules. Working late? No problem, theyll schedule you an additional walk. Going on vacation? They do boarding as well. The owner, Andrea, is genuinely passionate about her business, and is a pleasure to deal with. I cannot say enough good things about her and the other Walkers. After dealing with many other walking companies around the NYC area, VIP has absolutely set a new bar for us. Not sure how else to end this review other than saying that if you live in the PI/WNY arena and you have a walking service other than VIP, you are absolutely missing out. read more

Andrea and her team are fantastic. My dog Peach has been going on daily walks for awhile now and really loves it. The team is very knowledgeable about dogs and very trustworthy. I absolutely love Andrea and the whole team. We use them for dog-sitting our 10 year old boxer Tyson and he absolutely loves them. We also used to use them for daily dog walking before they left Hoboken and it was wonderful. What started out as a very good relationship went south quickly. While I admit that I can be overly worried at times about my cat, as a client, I believe I deserve a caring and thoughtful response to any concerns that I might have. Surprisingly, that was not the case with VIP. A quick reassuring talk or text could have easily addressed my concerns. Instead, I received an anxious and angry message stating, essentially, that I was too much trouble, this was the last time that they would care for my cat, AND that I should let them know where to drop off my keys. For my money, this was a completely inappropriate and unprofessional response. Fortunately, I was able to quickly find another service to replace them and will not look back - this despite the fact that I was already on travel (which VIP obviously knew). In sum, I was very disappointed in the end and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I am writing this review to simply caution other dog owners you may be using VIP Canine. I CAUGHT ANDREA AND HER TEAM ON VIDEO LYING about the times and length of time they took out our dog. Andrea came highly recommended, and initially, everything seemed to be perfect: she sent pictures and texts with pickup and drop off times. I grew concerned when my housekeeper told me the dog was BEING PUT BACK IN THE CRATE AFTER SHORT WALKS WITHOUT BEING OFFERED WATER. One day, I decided to compare her text message times with our building's security video tapes. I paid for two half hour walks: at noon and 4. Instead, she took him for a 20 minute walk at 11:00 and a SIX MINUTE WALK at 2:45. When I asked her how the day went (already knowing the answer), she told me he went for a 45 minute walk in the morning and spent 1 hour at the park with another dog. So they came WAY EARLY and LIED, taking him for SIX MINUTES WHEN I PAID FOR A HALF HOUR. I called Andrea and demanded our keys back letting her know that we would not need her services any longer. Of course she was very concerned about what happened and offered us free walks to keep us as clients. She said that it was a very busy day and that she thought it was Julio who took our dog out, but didn't even know who came to our house to take our dog out... Who is this Julio?? SHE TOLD US ONLY SHE AND HER HUSBAND WOULD ENTER OUR HOME. I fired her immediately. Just please be warned: We don't know what really goes on when we are not at home with our pets. We put all of our trust in people like Andrea to be professional and care for our pets. She completely let us down. read more

The company fails to acknowledge any and all complaints. Today, there was an incident where one of the company's walkers, John Castro, failed to control a small pit mix and that dog attempted to bite another dog. John proceeded to yell profanities at the other handler. I immediately called the company to inform them of the situation and file a complaint about their walker. The call taker said it was probably the other persons fault and did not want to take any information for a complaint. read more

VIP Canine is the best at what they do. I'm so happy that my little Nala has found a great group of people to take care of her. Andrea and her team really knows how to make a little canine happy. The walks, doggy play groups, grooming, is great and I couldn't ask for a better service. I've always been super neurotic about who takes care of Nala and who enters my home, but Andrea has made it very comfortable for me. Andrea is a canine lifesaver. When we first got my mini schnauzer puppy, we had no idea where to start house and crate training. My puppy was 9 weeks old and wreaking havoc on our home and ruling the roost. Within 2 weeks of structure and guidance and private training sessions, she was completely house broken, crate trained and responding to basic commands. Andrea also taught my husband and me how to groom our puppy like a professional, which was not easy, and we are still mastering. I am so grateful for Andrea and her knowledge and help through it all. read more

LOVE VIP Canine! Andrea is great! She is a trainer and knows how to connect with your canine bestie. My husband and I had the pleasure of her service for our sweet (but slightly fear aggressive) Lily. Lily was a rescue and was attacked by a smaller dog as a puppy. She has hung on to the fear for 4 years... until she was supported and taught confidence by Andrea. Andrea took Lily under her wing and exposed her little by little to other pups (first larger breeds then smaller breeds). Lily is so much more confident now that she's worked with Andrea and the crew. She is so much more relaxed on walks. We had to move out of the area this fall for a job relo. :( I wish I could have taken Andrea with us! Lily loved her from the very first encounter. It's not like that with other dog walkers. BELIEVE ME... we've been looking in our new neighborhood. We purchased the 2x daily walk which was perfect for our schedule. Great value because you get someone who will care for your pup while you're away. Because she is also a trainer, have no fear, if there's ever any situation with another aggressive dog, you won't have to worry about Andrea's ability to make the right decision for your pup. She know's how to communicate with dogs. She also gave me little tips that has helped me handle my bestie better to ensure a safe environment always (like if we're stuck in a tight elevator with an aggressive furry). Big fan here. Thank you, Andrea and Paul. read more

Andrea and John and their entire crew are incredible. They take the time to truly understand your dog's needs and treat them accordingly. Mac couldn't wait to head out the door with anyone from their team.
