I work for a company that provides residential services to adults with disabilities. Recently, my lead staff accompanied one of our residents to see Dr. Violeta, located at 1710 E. Washington Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91104 (phone: 626-345-9022), for a medication discontinuation. During the visit, Dr. Violeta was extremely rude and unprofessional. She condescendingly spoke to my staff and belittled her. At one point, Dr. Violeta stated, "I'm famous, and you're just a caregiver," and mentioned how well-known she was. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially toward individuals and staff who are advocating for the care of vulnerable adults. Additionally, when my supervisor called the office to file a complaint, the staff member, Pated, who answered the phone, was also dismissive and unhelpful. People deserve to know how unprofessional this provider and her staff were. Our residents and caregivers deserve respect and compassion, not belittling and arrogance. read more

I came to this place very nervous...I had been following a blogger and she has been coming in for years and I thought if that's the case let me try..her face is what sells her makeup etc..? I looked up Dr. Violeta on Yelp...she's legit...I purchased the deal $75 for $50! Why not! But it was 30 miles out of the way..which was questionable to be but again ok... Made my appointment and got in my car frm LB to Pasadena! Boy it was long drive.. Dr. Violeta did explain and consulted with me..upper lips and slightly under the lips..let's talk about the procedure..omg why didn't I discover her sooner! I have gotten my hair laser under the arms before and it was theee most painful thing of my life... I am super sensitive..getting my lips threaded was painful as it gets but with the laser it was a quick less than 5 mins procedure and she did my underarms my pits in 5 freaking mins...!!!!OMG! I started coming here a while back with a Living Social deal for 6 laser hair removal treatments, which is the average number to permanently stop the hair from coming back. After the first session, I was a little skeptical because who really likes having fuzz while the hair grows out? But after the 3rd session I was sooo happy! The majority of my hair wasn't even growing back anymore. Dr. Navasarian said after the 4th session that I should hold off the remaining two sessions as touch ups. (Love the integrity!) Since I'm still in my 20s (the hair follicles had a good chance of eventually healing themselves), once a year touch ups are recommended, reducing down to once every 5 years as fuzz starts growing back. It's been 3 years since I redeemed the Living Social deal, and I'm only just now coming for my first paid touch up. Can't speak more highly of her work! The only drawback is their PR. New customers are all referred from somewhere/someone else. Their website has been down, and they don't list pricing or a menu anywhere. read more

I LOVE this office. The office staff is always super friendly and very efficient. I come here to see Marlo for peels and microdermabrasion facials. She is seriously a miracle worker. Before I started coming to see her, I had horrible, acne-prone skin that was constantly breaking out. I'm in constant disbelief about how clear my skin is now. I rarely have breakouts anymore, and when I do, they go away much more quickly than they used to. It can be a little weird to have all of your skin sloughing off for a couple days after a peel, but if it's right for your skin, the results are totally worth it. My sister said my skin was "glowing." What?! Just don't schedule a peel immediately before any big events -- give it some time to heal. Marlo is extremely knowledgable about skin care. Which, mind you, is very challenging for her since she has to be home to take care of her elderly mother. Violet has hands of gold. I am so disappointed in my first experience getting fillers, very unprofessional and a huge waste of money and time. I'll make sure to go to someone who is honest and professional next time. One week After my treatment I visited her again and explained that there is no difference and she says that I probably need more! She already put multiple syringes on my face and apparently does not work. As a "doctor" If she knew that wasn't going to be enough why didn't she tell me this before, even though I talked to her about my needs and budget.
