I mentioned what I was looking for and included three pictures for inspiration. I named my price point and amount of guests. They told me what was possible and I'd say the price point was more than fair. They kept it under my budget and mentioned some add ons that would bring me right to my price point. They absolutely killed it and were super responsive when I wanted to change something before paying the invoice. Pick up was a good experience, there is a teeny parking lot just for Babycakes customers that can be difficult to navigate. Chad was so sweet to my nanny-kids and we ended up getting a sprinkle cupcake because it was just too pretty. Will definitely go here for future parties!

More importantly, they serve a great mix or cupcakes, cookies and other sweet treats with beverage options as well. You'd be hard pressed to leave disappointed unless you're steering clear of sugar. My wife and I stopped in while walking home for dinner and tried their cake pops. They were definitely on the sweeter side, but overall a good bite. The next day I came back in for coffee and a fresh biscotti which I highly recommend. If I lived closer, that would be a great way to start each day.

Flour Atelier is a small bakery right next to the hovering Mitsuwa. They carry two refrigerated sections' worth of original treats and pastries, many with Asian flavors such as their ube leche flan and calamansi cheesecake. I'm a gluten free girly nowadays, but when I could eat their desserts I did love their cheesecake: a balance of cream-to-crust is important to me. And those flavors? Standout. Hard to find many other places. They also have tea and coffee, and my husband and I LOVE their hojicha latte, which boasts a nice earthy-to-sweet ratio. If you want a grounded flavor without getting another coffee, try the hojicha latte! The store itself is quite small, selling sweet treats, drinks, and even flowers through a collaboration with a florist. They have about 4 tables outside -- recommended for small parties, unless you come when it's empty with a group. BIG TIP: Bring your mother or mother-in-law here to impress -- that is, if she likes cute, sweet treats and a tea party vibe! My mom always loves coming here, and bringing the whole family, too Keep up the great work Flour Atelier!

There is no indoor seating but there are a few tables out front. It's an interesting concept. Flour meets flowers. The pastries are beautifully done & such a feast not only for your eyes but your palate as well. My dear son treated me to a Tiramisu pastry plus an iced Chagaccino. I saved the rest of the pastry for later since I was still full from my cream puffs. I did try a piece and it was perfection! I chugged down my delicious iced drink as we sat outside. My son told me their most popular pastry is a Calamansi cake, which sells out quickly. Would love to try one of those.

The gentleman was hard at work I notice he was overwhelmed but still kept his composure and assist customers in a timely manner. When it was my turn, the customer had ordered a chocolate covered apple, and so did I. After the first customer order was complete, he started on my order, and normally a lot of kids or newer generation don't even acknowledge these small things, yet taking initiative and asked if I had a peanut allergy and the prior customer Apple had peanuts and he had cut into my apple with the same knife.. this seems small, but working in healthcare and friends of family having peanut allergies.. I thank him for taking the safety step to ask me if I had any nut allergies. A little mistake like that can be very dangerous. I salute your team and establishment and I hope your business to continue well! Looking forward for more treats! - Sadly I did not get a picture of the apple because my daughter and her friend devoured it in the back seat after the movies.

Their cakes may be pricey, but…read morein my opinion, for the amount of work, effort, and quality of ingredients, I think they continue to be fair. For example, some other specialty bakeries/shops are charging similar prices for cakes and cheesecakes that are much simpler. In comparison, Extraordinary Dessert cakes take 3-4 days to make, have 6-8 alternating layers, and are typically adorned with edible gold and/or flowers. The key is to find which items you like and which are okay to pass on next time. What we ried this time: -Match Misu Cake (7/10): ricotta cake layers soaked in matcha and layered with marscapone whipped cream. This one was pretty good and ranks in my middle to high range. I only wish there was more matcha flavor (maybe if you dine in and get the sauce, this would help) or the matcha was paired with another flavor ... either go fruity (maybe a raspberry sauce, strawberry pieces, white peach pieces, or like a peach oolong cream layer) or go chocolately/coffee (maybe had some crushed up chocolate covered espresso beans). My go to's: -Ivoire Royale (10/10) - my ultimate favorite still. If you like light desserts, white chocolate, berries, and moist vanilla cake, thus one is for you. Classy and unpretentious -Shangrila (10/10) - my other favorite and will make you feel like a princess with all the pink chocolate curls. A little bit adventurous and innocently elegant. Ones to skip: -Au Chocolate / La Bete Noire / Dame Chocolate - get the Viking instead. That's my favorite of all their chocolate cakes -Lemon ricotta - get the Passionfruit Ricotta instead -Torta misu - the matcha misu is better. The tortilla misuse made me want a regular piece of tirmaisu than a cake version -Coconut cream - not bad, not amazing though

Also just so everyone is aware they're also liars just to mention & stupid.. she tells us her name is Karen thinking we don't know the owners name lol .. She was at the register at 7:20pm and was extremely rude and dismissive after we placed our order, especially regarding a child's dietary restrictions and health concerns. We politely asked if it would be possible to purchase a small cup of fruit , even just a couple strawberries cut up, because one child in our group cannot have sweets due to very strict dietary restrictions . Instead of simply saying they were unable to accommodate the request or offering another option, we were told to "go somewhere else," despite already spending the amount we did . The complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service was honestly shocking. It's disappointing to be treated that way at a place we have supported so consistently. This place has been going downhill , management for this place needs to step up .
