I ordered the chicken parmigiana and added a side salad. It included garlic knots which came out fresh. They were the perfect amount of crisp and soft inside. The dish was homemade with a well seasoned breading and the perfect amount of melted cheese on top. My sister in law ordered the baked ziti which was enough to feed two people. It was so cheesy she had to drag the cheese up and around her fork. She gave me a bite and it was also amazing. The pasta was cooked perfectly and one of my favorite places to try. I was visiting the area and my sister picked up a pizza for dinner. Now I'm from NYC so I am VERY judgmental about pizza from other states, but this pizza really was very good. Vinzo's: I have said it once and will continue to say it...they're wonderful. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with smiling faces and plenty of seating. Quickly you're then greeted from a member of the staff to get your drinks. As a family, we just can't eat as much as we used to, so ALL of the food was a glorious, over abundance of tastiness. Breean (I need to start writing down names - I think this was her name) was on top of everything, refills, garlic rolls, extra anything, she was fantastic. My 12 in pizza was great and , as stated, too much to eat. My son got a pepperoni roll - could only eat half. My parents each got a different dish with chicken and noodles of some sort - couldn't finish but half. So, not only do we have another days worth of meals, but full stomachs to last the weekend as well. The atmosphere, as I said, is very welcoming. The place feels homey. My family ate pizzas from Vinzo's about six months ago and this was my review of them. My family really loves eating pizza it's one of our favorite types of food to eat as a family. We as a family have tried a lot of different pizza places and I have to say Vinzo's has been one of the best places we have tried in a while. We had three extra large pizzas one Blanca Pizza , one Cheese Pizza , and a Meat Lovers Pizza and all three were very delicious and my wife also go a Greek salad that she said was very tasty. My family would also love to eat at the location because they have a very lovely decor inside the restaurant itself. It was our first time there and we will definitely return. Very nice and clean atmosphere, great, friendly service. The thin crust on the pizza has a nice crunch and they are generous with the toppings. They had the perfect ratio of sauce, artichoke hearts. Sundried tomatoes and shrimp to make that dish awesome. My wife and I came to attend a friends birthday party, and we were very surprised to learn of another Italian restaurant nearby as the selection in my opinion is pretty slim, or I just need to narrow my search down. This is very mom and pop which is what my wife and I love. We were greeted with nice service and looked at a menu that can please a group or an individual. There is a nice wine list which is perfect for an Italian restaurant, not much beer, but it was ok. The menu contained the usual suspects of pastas, pizzas, and calzones. Their pizzas are cooked in a brick oven along with their baked ziti's. For starers, we had their calamari which came with banana peppers, and marinara sauce for dipping. If you like calamari, you will enjoy this calamari as well, mt advice is to eat it while it's hot, so it won't get cold and rubbery. For my entree, I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta which normally comes with fettuccine, however the server informed me that I could substitute my pasta and recommended the tortellini, which was a great substitution! The chicken wasn't too spicy, but that could be because of my tolerance to spicy foods. Someone ordered a Calzone at the table and it was HUGE, so I have an idea of what I would get if I come back! I ordered dessert because the Salted Caramel Panna Cotta looked pretty damn good. When I ordered the the dessert, I knew that I needed to share it because I didn't want to leave off of a sugar high. Thank fully I did as this dessert is very sweet! The chocolate ganache on the bottom of the cup is needed with every bite to go with the whipped cream. The three star rating is totally because of the service, or lack there of. The first few times I had food from Vinzo's it was while I was at the brewery next door. I placed orders online, picked them up, then took them to the brewery. The pizza was always hot and tasty. Apparently that only happens when you eat there. Recently I've ordered pizza and garlic knots for delivery. The first time it took them an hour plus to get me my food. I live less than a mile from there. I usually would go pick it up, but I was feeling under the weather and decided to spend the $3 to have them bring it to me. The food finally arrived and it was barely warm. I sent them a message through their website and about half an hour later I got a voicemail from them saying that they would give me my next order for free. I really dont appreciate when restaurant do that, instead of a refund, because then you only option is to be out the money for the subpar food or give them another try. Fine, I will give them another try. The next time I ordered for delivery the food didnt take as long so i started to think maybe the first time was a fluke. Not so much. Next delivery order the food was barely warm and my garlic knots were just knots. No butter, no garlic. I was a bit irritated that my $4.50 side wasnt what I ordered. I sent a message through the website again and this time there was no response at all. I hate to say that I wont be eating there again because when the food is hot and made as it should be, well its pretty delicious. And believe me I would much rather order from a local place less than a mile from my house than to venture further out or go with a chain. But how many chances am I supposed to give them? read more

I came here for dinner with a friend and we decided to have a little bit of everything from the menu. For an appetizer we had the bruschetta which was AMAZING! The bread was crisp, all the ingredients were fresh and the balsamic was divine. Next time I could honestly be happy eating that alone for a meal - it was that good!! For our meals we ordered the Baked Ziti and the Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pizza. The ziti was delicious and had a lovely coat of cheese on top with an underlay of ricotta. I'm not usually a fan of ricotta but it came with just a small amount so that was okay with me. The pizza was good and the chicken on it was very seasoned, but I'll take that over a bland taste any day. And for dessert we ate their holiday peppermint Cannoli. That particular flavor stopped being available last week, but the chef came and let us know they will offer a special flavored cannoli every month starting this year. Not only was the food great, but the staff was wonderful. Our server Tristan was super friendly, the General Manager and the Chef came out to speak with us about our experience and see how everything was tasting, and they made us feel extremely welcomed. My friend has been dying to try Vinzo's so we decided to dinner here for happy hour. It was pretty dead at five when we went, but we've heard this place is great and so I was expecting it to be a lot busier then it was. It was just us and one other table. For happy hour we ordered the $4 bruschetta and it was delicious, I'm extremely with bruschetta and it could've easily been some of the best I've had in the Orlando area. It just needed a little bit more balsamic as that's my favorite part. For my meal I ordered the five cheese with garlic aioli, the personal pan size. The personal pan was honestly the perfect size and still had left overs so I'm glad I opted for the personal pan vs the medium or large pizza. Pizza was great, hot, and very tasty. For dessert I had a cannoli and it was good, but not my favorite. I would return here absolutely, pizza and bruschetta was good. But I'll have to try more then just a cheese pizza. read more

We started with Vinzo's Dip & Kickin Shrimp. Both were delicious! The cheesy dip had a nice kick & came with a side of perfectly toasted French baguette slices. The Kickin Shrimp was lightly battered, beautifully fried and served on a bed of mixed greens. The sweet & spicy sauce was just that! Next, we had the Deluxe Pizza which was loaded with fresh topping and beautiful crispy crust. What an awesome place! We immediately felt at home upon our arrival. The waitress was super attentive and friendly. The pizza was devious with just the right amount of cheese and toppings and the crispy crust was amazing wherein it's wasn't too thick or thin and not greasy like some places. We also had their famous cheese sauce to dip our artichoke and spinach appetizer bites. I've also seen the Vinzo's is donating some of their pizzas to the Altamonte hospital which is AWESOME I've only gotten take out or delivery and have not eaten in restaurant but the food is fantastic! The pizza is delicious as are their wings and pasta dishes. I order their Cajun chicken pasta and loved it. It is a huge portion that became 2 meals. I lived in Norristown Pennsylvania in my 20s and at that time the community was about 40% Italian. After church, we would be invited to have Sunday dinner with their families. I have not had great Italian food since then some 50 years ago, until I went to vinzo's . The chef is outstanding and the food or recipes are from the old-school Italian. the tomato sauce Is perfect and you just can't get enough of it. The eggplant Parmesan Is so large that it takes 70% of the plate and the rest is filled with the best tasting pasta ever. The sausage and mushroom AL FUNO (please forgive my spelling) Is marvelous and the portion is enough for three meals. We have been there three times in the last three weeks and we bring home enough to reheat for two more days. The prices are very reasonable especially for the portions you get. It is located to the right side of the Red Budd Lake overpass so you might not see it, but it's definitely worth checking out. With so many great Italian Restaurants to choose from, Vinzo's is a "diamond on the rough". Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Excellent food and outstanding service from our server, Breann.  We arrived on a Friday just after the lunch rush was dying down.  From what we could see, Breann was waiting on 10 tables simultaneously and also bussing each and every one of those tables when the customers left. Phenomenal! And now, back to the food.  We started with a bowl of lobster Bisque and some garlic knots and both were good.  For one entree we had a small antipasto salad ($8.99) which was more than enough for 2 of us to share.  The other entree was their lunch chicken bruschetta and it was the best we've ever had when dining out. Unfortunately we didn't save enough room for dessert.  Instead, we went next door to Bowigens and shared a flight of beers (also delicious).  Apparently,  you can also order your food at Vinzos and take it over to Bowigens to enjoy.  It would be nice if they could work the Bowigen brews into their menu...can you imagine how great that would be?!?!? read more

Fantastic! Nothing I love more than an Authentic Italian Restaurant serving up top quality food and even better service! My favorite part about it was being welcomed by one of the owners when they found out about me on Instagram @foodonthespectrum. I went with my mom to do some videos and all the food that we had was top notch and so delicious! The pizza was generous with the amount of cheese and toppings thrown on top of it and it was cooked just right too. The waitress was super sweet and very helpful with what we wanted to eat and she gave us really good recommendations too. The appetizers were also something to behold, the kickin' shrimp had a nice kick of spice and was very flavorful along with a perfect amount of breading too. We even had Vinzo's dip which was a delicacy to behold with the small cheese pull and the bold flavor that comes with it. But then came the chicken bruschetta pasta with the moist chicken and the bruschetta and cheese, everything about it was bliss! We got garlic knots, the meat lovers pizza, and the Cajun chicken Alfredo pizza. Everything was DELISH! The garlic knots had the perfect amount of garlic and oil. Decided to try out this place last Saturday afternoon after a day of furniture shopping. We went in at an odd in between lunch and dinner time so it was pretty much empty. They didn't have slices available at that time but the waiter recommended the personal "10 pie. So both me and my husband ordered that along with garlic knots. . The garlic knots came out hot and fresh and about 15 minutes later came the pizza. It was pretty big to our surprise. We were expecting something smaller. It tasted almost like a New York style pizza with the thinnish crust and melted cheese. The cheese was a nice golden brown color and baked to perfection.
