Our home's exterior has been completely transformed, and it looks beautiful, thanks to Mayfair Remodeling. Newton, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. With his many years of construction experience, he listened carefully to what we wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions, and paid close attention to every detail. He was always available to answer our questions, communicated clearly throughout the project, and stopped by every day to check on the progress. His professionalism and dedication gave us confidence from start to finish. The crew, led by Giovanni, was outstanding. They were organized, punctual, and incredibly hardworking. Their craftsmanship was meticulous, and they paid close attention to every detail. They were always willing to answer our questions and cleaned up the area before they left each day. We especially appreciated that they even sent someone with a magnetic roller after the project was completed to pick up any stray screws and nails--an extra touch that demonstrated their commitment to quality and safety. Mayfair Remodeling exceeded our expectations in every way. We are thrilled with the finished project and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality workmanship, excellent communication, and outstanding customer service.

Pete and his crew did an excellent job on the exterior renovation (new roof, siding, windows, and…read moregutters) of our home. The crews showed up on site, when he stated they would and worked straight until they completed the entire job, including Saturdays. Their attention to detail, was incredible, they even went as far as matching the color of the gable vents to the new siding vs the standard white vent on every other home. All holes and corners were filled or caulked with color matched caulk. Every fixture had a white mounting block installed. They used high quality material and the installation was spot-on. At the end of the job, Pete did a full walk-thru with us and identified a couple minor 'punchlist' items. His crew came back the next day to address the issues. Pete even sent his guys back a few months after their contract was complete to add a dryer vent on our addition that I forgot to ask for while they were here. Their estimate, contract, and payment terms were clear and fair. We are very satisfied with the work completed by PJ Sullivan Exteriors and the timeframe in which it was completed. I would highly recommend PJ Sullivan Exteriors.

I signed a contract with Peter Sullivan, PJS Builders on Feb 27 with a start date of March 18 and gave Pete a deposit of almost $10k He was quick to come and get a check After a multitude of excuses he finally had his guys show up on May 1. They did 1 day of work and almost covered the deposit. 9 interior doors. primed. I had to call over and over to get a hold of Peter and schedule the work. Needless to say they were over 6 weeks past the start date After the 1 day May 1st ALl I kept hearing was they were backed up with other jobs and a million excuses. I was overwhelmed and hesitant about finding another roofer to fix our roof. There had been a leak…read morethat was slowly getting worse, a leak that was not fixed properly by the last roofing company a few years ago. Who could I trust?? Did we really need a new roof ?? Can anyone fix this leak?? I had several estimates, had 4 different companies come and tell me what would fix that leak. The range of remedies was vast and varied in costs. CHARLIE with ON THE SPOT was the first to come take a look. Right away I was impressed with his knowledge, he was very kind, respectful and professional. He came when he said he would, took pictures, & explained everything so that I could understand. He found the problem that the other guys didn't even mention & it made perfect sense. He is honest and that is a gift beyond measure in todays world. My Mother and I felt totally safe with him and he even encouraged us to follow thru with the other estimates I had scheduled. In the end, we hired ON THE SPOT and are so so so glad that we did. They were on time, worked quickly, were very clean and cleaned up any shred of debris from the job. They were mindful of our dogs, keeping the gates closed even when our dogs were inside. AND THE LEAK IS FIXED!!! We just had a massive drenching a few days ago AND IT DID NOT RAIN IN THE KITCHEN!! NO LEAKS!! THANK YOU CHARLIE WITH ON THE SPOT! We will be telling our friends and family and will definitely hire them again as they do home improvements as well. I would not recommend On The Spot under any circumstances. Immediately after signing the contract,…read morethe red flags started popping up and did not stop until I was abandoned in an endless field of them. It felt like my project was managed like a game of hot potato, with no one person taking responsibility from beginning to end, but instead, by lots of people who seemingly never collaborated and also managed lots of other projects as well as evolving roles within the company. The subcontractors that they used to do my project varied wildly in terms of the quality of their work and experience. Working with On the Spot is not an experience I'll ever reflect upon with any fondness. Everyone has that friend/neighbor/realtor's nephew who had an awful experience with a contractor. Well in this case, I am that friend/neighbor/realtor's nephew and On the Spot is that contractor. Look elsewhere.

Listen, Mike Alleva is a legitimate crook. There is absolutely no reason why a homeowner should…read morerely on them to perform a service of any kind, particularly one of a larger scale remodel. His staff unfortunately follows his lead, even begrudgingly, characterizing this business as having no integrity whatsoever. The most immoral, unethical behavior of the events, is the following. We were elevating the ceiling height in our enclosed front porch. Above the dropped ceiling was space similar to an attic, and the intent was to eradicate the unused attic-like space and raise the ceiling for aesthetic purposes. During the estimate, the project manager moved a ceiling tile, examined and measured, and said the current existing support was more than sufficient for the project, and proper for code purposes. Fast forward several months to the actual construction, the ceiling was demo'd, and then Mike calls and says that he needs to rebuild the rafters. I told him they were thoroughly examined already. He then raised his voice, belligerent and aggressive, and like a thief in the night says that I have two choices - I can either choose to stop construction and cause a significant & timely delay while we await inspections, or I can pay $3000 for one day's work of exchanging the rafters. So, I watched them remove perfectly fine construction, just so they could rob me. His project manager knew it, his office assistant knew it, his crew knew it. he knew it, and we knew it. And it was unscrupulous, despicable, and an entirely sleazy way of squeezing money from good people. I hate to be stereotypical, and hindsight is 20/20 but it added up in the end when I remembered Mike showed up in a $100k car and $200 jeans to give a hardworking family an estimate on modifying their home, one that he ultimately inevitably disregarded for the sake of his own benefit and meager financial gain. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere, read and trust the accounts from other concerned reviewers of this abhorrent, dishonest individual.
