We had Vinton Roofing come out to inspect the roof on our new house. They were timely and did a thorough job. The guy who came out was friendly and explained his findings in an easy to understand way. We'll definitely be calling them in the future for inspections and repairs. read more

vinton Roofing is the worst contractor I have ever worked with. They use nails that were way too long and came through the ceiling in my living room. After months, they had no plan so I'm having to find another contractor to fix all their mistakes. read more

Vinton Roofing did a fantastic job! My home looks amazing used Summer Harvest shingles which we are so grateful for Chris Slusher. the Vinton Roofing representative that suggested that we may want to consider the Summer Harvest of course my wife had the final decision and that's what she picked. Chris was very good at communicating timelines and following up to make sure everything was going well. Fair pricing not the most inexpensive but not the most expensive! Good Warranties Vinton Roofing 10 year workmanship warranty and Owens Corning warranty on shingles. The roofers were very professional and very nice. Very hard worker's in 90 degree temperatures. They took two day which was expected during such heat. These guys knew what they were doing. Only reason for a 4.8 star rating is after asking for them to use the magnets very well in the pet courtyard area and I found over 15 nails. Just a place for improvement I would say. Job Well Done Guys! read more

Vinton Roofing Company - Roofing Near Me - Vinton, Virginia

Kenny did an awesome job. He squeezed us in after a wind storm before it rained again. Stayed in good communication w us. Thanks Kennye

They were willing to make a small repair to the flashing, even though they didn't install the roof. Sent out an estimator and he was on time, professional, and very helpful. Was not the flashing but a masonry issue, and he was able to provide photos of where I'm having water issues. Definitely will keep them in mind for any future needs! read more

Raised up Vinton, and chose Vinton Roofing expecting quality work. Issues from the get-go. The foreman's came and went all day not inspecting the work. First, roofers had to be reminded by homeowners re: the flashings discussed and needed such as fireplace; They had to go back TWICE to get more shingles cause miscalculated(said that always happens) roofers overshot gutters with shingles ,left nails/debri in gutters, nailed the gutter guards down, all causing rain to bypass gutters severely ,manager came back TWICE, while we were not there, to cut shingles back (said that happens all the time); The bathroom skylight was mismeasured yet still installed , saying we can fix this, sheet rock was damaged causing us to climb our ladder at a later time, to repair it when we noticed a 1 1/4 inch gap between wall and skylight , allowing heat from attic to escape into bathroom, causing us to climb into attic to see if this gap/spacing was an outside issue as well. Manager said, this happens, shouldn't be a leaking issue but we can take shingles up and caulk it; While we were in the attic we noticed some lighting near the fireplace. We discovered the roofers had just positioned a shingle over an OBVIOUS large rotting HOLE as wide as a football. Vinton roofing had to come back once again to tear the shingles off, cut a man size square for them to fit in the attic to replace the roof, then reshingle. Once again only the roofers, foreman left at start not to return or hear from Vinton roofing again as to customer satisfaction. Roofers cracked, broke, pieced together our cedar siding back and used black gooo to fill in open cracked spaces. AND...NO FLASHING, AGAIN. As well difficult communication on spot with roofers. Nice roofer guys atleast. No star deserved read more

If I where you I would never use this company. They are very unprofessional , lack of promptness, and not about the customer services. They completed my roof and it looks horrible .they told us it would be 3 to 4 weeks from Sept 2 to put up new roof shingles and decking they didn't show up to Nov 9. The roof is not level the shingles are all wavy . Not only that issue the crew fell thru my roof twice. One of those put a 3 foot by 3 foot hole in my cieling . They had to use my saw because they came unprepared. They also suppose to change piping never done they just painted my old one black to match roof . I feel that the customer has the right to be satisfied , but if not be compensated. Be cautious when choosing a roofer because you never know who will show up. read more

I desperately needed a new roof and they came out the next day to inspect it and give me an estimate. The representative was very prompt and courteous. He wrote up the estimate at the same time that he came out to inspect the roof and completely explained what they would do to replace my roof. He even had samples of the materials to give me so I could inspect their quality and know that I was making the right choice. The crew that replaced my roof was also very punctual and courteous. They were done in the time that they said they would be and cleaned up very well after themselves. We found only a minimum amount of debris left behind and the new roof looks great. Thank you Vinton Roofing for a great job! read more

I called Vinton Roofing to help me with a leaking problem with my metal roof installed in 2010 by a company now out of business. They were the only roofer that would even come out and inspect to see what the problem was. They agreed to fix the problem. Lucky for me it was leaking only on the front porch ceiling. They did the repairs. This was several months ago and we have had a lot of rain since then. No leaks. Thank you Vinton Roofing for ending a problem that has been going on for quite a few years. Would recommend them and would use them again if needed. read more
