I found this company in my search for quotes on fixing 2 damaged lengths of gutter on my house…read more I was impressed with how quickly they were able to come to the house to inspect and quote the work. They also gave me three different levels of repair with the corresponding quotes for me to choose from, which was great. On the day they were scheduled to complete the work, I came home to find that they only did 1 of the 2 gutters written on the quote. What followed was a series of frustrating phone conversations and arguing with their administrator (who was adamant they completed the work as quoted), the manager (who was claiming the same thing), and finally the person who quoted the job that backed up my claim. The quote ended up being misread by the installers and manager on site (despite them commenting to me with confusion as to why I wasn't replacing the other damaged gutter). They ended up having to come back and do the second gutter without any cost implication to me. The installers did great work with the replacement gutters, and I'd recommend them due to the quality of work. However, I would suggest making sure the work on the quote is clearly written and understood with the installation group actually doing the work.

Later on after several good storms I realized my gutters were still overflowing and went out in the rain and pulled one of the downspouts loose from the bottom of the gutter on the front of the house and nothing was coming from the gutter. I took my leaf blower on blew air up through the bottom of the gutter and then the water started gushing out, proving the gutter was stopped up inside. Later I called leafilter and had to pay $90 fee for a service tech to come out and clean the debris that accumulates on top of the leafilter,and he also checked inside and verified the gutters were not properly cleaned out during the original install, as stipulated in the contract. Thay say it's money back guarantee but they refused to ever do anything about it.

If you enjoy water dripping into your home every time it rains, despite paying thousands of dollars, call Allied Chimney and Roofing! I'm not being dramatic when I say that hiring Allied Chimney and Roofing is among my very top worst decisions ever. Why you ask? Let's see... -They were professional and responsive up until there was a contract in place and a deposit paid. From there, they spent three weeks 'working' on rebuilding our chimney. By 'working,' I mean not showing up for several days, then working on a Friday night from 8-9pm. -Upon 'finishing' the job, we were left with a pile of bricks that we paid in the contract to have hauled away, a pile of sand in our yard, and other supplies like tarps. It required multiple calls and texts to ever get them to remove everything...at which point our grass was dead. -Their crew was highly unprofessional and unsafe when they are actually onsite. For example, we had to tell them to stop yelling the 'F word' over and over. They also seem to have no regard for safety, allowing one crew member to climb the scaffolding in flip flops with no safety restraints. -When it first rained after the chimney work was complete, we had water gushing into our home, running along the chimney through the attic into a top floor bedroom. It took multiple calls and about two weeks for them to come out and 'fix' the issue (the flashing). This is despite the owner assuring us that his crew would be here within the week and despite a 20 year warranty on the work. -When it rained the first time after they 'fixed' the flashing, we again had water coming into our attic and top floor bedroom. We immediately called that day (a Sunday or Monday) and were told they would be out by Thursday or Friday to fix it. It's now about 20 days since that call and two weeks from that promised deadline, and they have not fixed the work. I'm not sure how this saga will end, but please save yourself the time, energy., and money. Hire ANYONE else. (0 stars would be a more accurate rating)
