A last minute delivery was needed for a birthday orchid and it was very kindly explained to me that they were incredibly busy and couldn't possibly deliver until Monday. I understood and said that would be fine. This was a Saturday afternoon and not long after these lovely people texted to say they would squeeze the delivery in after all. So pleased and thankful. My husband and I eloped in Vail this past Thursday on our fourth anniversary, and when we were planning everything out, we wanted to make it as simple as possible and decided to go without flowers. On Thursday morning, however, my now-husband discovered that the traditional fourth anniversary gift is flowers. So we did some Yelping and came across Vintage Magnolia. We visited their shop and explained that we wanted a sweet but simple flower crown and boutonnière by the afternoon. Despite the short notice, the staff at Vintage Magnolia were just lovely and helped us narrow down our options. We placed an order with them, left to scope out our ceremony spot, and came back later in the afternoon to find the most adorable flower crown and boutonnière waiting for us in their shop. 1st- I never write reviews...BUT I did like this store and am very disappointed with my last experience. It was nice place for last minute gifts, etc and I try to support local, small business. However, purchased several items and when I got home I realized the size of one item was a tad too big and I could not use. I returned to the store to get a credit for something else and was curtly and quickly told nope we do not do that. Wow...really. I offered that I was a repeat customer and came in monthly...still a firm no with the excuse that they pay individual vendors and this would mess that up. I even said..."you're willing to lose valued customers by not offering an exchange"...yep. So buyer beware and know that vendors are valued over customers. read more

This place is amazing and the ambiance is captivating! they were swamped with at least 3 weddings that weekend, I went in on a Friday afternoon, and they were able to put a beautiful arrangement together for me in no time. Incredible!! Vintage Magnolia arranged the flowers for my rehearsal dinner and wedding and they could not have been more beautiful and perfect. Caitlin sat down with us and was able to take what we had in mind and turn it into reality. She paid attention to every detail and truly captured the look we were going for. Not to mention, she threw together a few arrangements for a welcome party with only a little bit of advance! I chatted with the owner of Vintage Magnolia via email. At first, she was open to my budget and said she would be happy to work within it. Chatting with other florists, I learned that my budget was fairly moderate and more than many brides like to spend. After a couple weeks, the owner changed her mind and decided that my budget was not possible. My budget never changed. I asked if we could tone down the amount a bit and make bouquets small, etc. She never responded. I'm not thrilled with people who talk down to you based on a healthy flower budget, nor do I think it's professional when there isn't even a reply. Thank goodness I found a MUCH better florist who respected me and my budget. Brides beware! read more

Vintage Magnolia was my wedding florist and I had the best experience! I worked with Caitlin and she got my "vision" right away. She put together a thorough proposal complete with pictures and pricing options so that I could really get a feel for what my wedding day would look like and I had options to play with the budget. This place is very upscale but, at the same time, the staff is very friendly and approachable. I think that's a rare combo. I could tell Caitlin, the owner, really cares about her customers and strives for floral perfection. First class. Working with this shop was a breeze and I had no stress. The flowers designed and provided by Vintage Magnolia for my daughter's recent wedding were spectacular!!! Everyone commented on the flowers which were lush, fresh, and artfully designed. The new owner (as of June 1, 2014) Caitlin Caldwell was a dream to work with. She is professional, competent, creative, reliable, knowledgeable, patient, considerate, and tireless. We were so impressed with how carefully she listened to what we envisioned and then sent us pictures of individual flowers as well as bouquets for inspiration and to make sure we were all on the same page. We were impressed with how much time she put into our project and how patient she was as we tweaked and honed everything. She was also considerate of our budget and worked with us to maximize the impact of the flowers within the budget we provided. She created an arch that was just gorgeous and transformed a plain fence into a special space for the bride and groom to stand during the ceremony. All personal flowers and reception flowers were breathtakingly beautiful. There were three different tablescapes and each one was delightful. Even though the reception was inside, it felt like we were in a beautiful garden. All the more amazing about the outcome was that most of our interaction was via phone and email with only one face to face visit since we live out of state. When we arrived in town, she met with us again and traveled up the mountain with us ahead of time to review everything. I think she did this for us and we really did appreciate it. After our first conversation we had a strong sense that Caitlin is someone you can trust to provide flowers of outstanding quality and design, and we were able to relax and know the flowers would be very special which was so important to us.
