Date of visit: February 12, 2024…read more A cute little shop with a ton of artistic options for you to choose from, I saw a number of items that were very interesting to me but in the end left with just one: a dog collar featuring the Batman logo for our pooch. He honestly should have a Joker collar rather than a Batman one since he's a bit of a villain, but that's neither here nor there! Staff was friendly, though prices here were a bit higher than some of the other stores in this area, though I suspect there's more hand/homemade things here than in other outlets in the vicinity.

I visited Peek A Boo Toys after hearing that they had a large inventory of fun stuff for kids. It…read moreis true... I have never been in a store that size with such a diverse inventory. It was jammed packed with Indoor toys, outside toys, interactive toys, independent play, group play and on and on. The staff is very friendly and they seem to enjoy interacting with their customers. The store was set up in a way that children get to be children and enjoy themselves while shopping. There were lots of smiles, giggles and some running around from area to area. My grandson would love this store and I wished that he was there. As silly as it may sound we purchased two packages of snowballs for $9.99 each. My husband thought that our grandson would get a kick out of them....Never having seen snow he did not get the concept but he loves how they float in the pool and that the dogs run after them.

The lady working was originally from Ohio and she was really nice to talk to. They had some nice shirts and fleece jackets marked down and we got a few. We also bought food to feed the ducks, geese and fish right out front. Highly recommend feeding them just to see the huge trout feeding frenzy. They were so fat and healthy and fun to see hitting the top of the water.

Date of visit: February 13, 2025…read more While technically billed as a "grocery store," let's be clear: This is a souvenir shop that also happens to sell some snacks and booze for those that would rather partake in their room than go to the bar or restaurant at the resort. There is a fair amount of variety here but I ended up seeing a number of the same items at different shops at other places in the area so keep your eyes peeled for sales before making a purchase! Staff was friendly enough even though they were talking on their phone the entire time I was in the store and only paused to complete my transaction. Guess it could have been worse, she could have kept on with her conversation DURING the transaction, too!

This is one of my favorite places in the United States. The owners and staff are exceptionally warm…read moreand welcoming, and their home furnishings are perfection. Really beautiful and unique pieces sourced from both local fabricators but also from Europe. They specialize in home accessories, lamps, furniture, table wear, children's gifts, and the like. The café is not to be missed... a true gem. The whole range of coffees and teas but also homemade cakes and pastries. We recently attended one of their occasional dinners, and I can't remember a more fun event. If anywhere near Vail or Beaver Creek, this spot is a must. Can I give a sixth star?

I like to get my kid stuffed animals from places we travel, preferably with the name of the place, so this store solves that need. Parent pro tip: first stop at the outdoor Hooked tiki bar just across the sidewalk for a nice and strong Zombie or Mai Tai, drinks are allowed in Generation BC, then you will love letting your kid run around in here for an hour looking at all the things they have.

Came into Wishes this morning with my family of four children. My kids were very respectful around…read morethe store and we had picked a few items for purchase. An older woman working at the store approached my teenage daughters and condescendingly asked them if they knew not to open the toys they were looking at in order to take some of the small pieces out, inferring that they would steal them or switch them out for something more desirable. Her accusatory tone made us immediately put down our items and leave. Not a good way to do business or welcome people into your store. My kids were supervised by both parents and she should have spoken to me, or not at all. We will not be returning during our stay the rest of the week. I am sure there are toy stores in Vail and Frisco to visit where we can make a purchase and not be accused of stealing.
