Really cute coffee shop tucked inside an interior design store. I think it's really important for coffee shops to have well curated spaces, and this one knocks it out of the park! A must visit for coffee lovers. The barista (I believe her name is Johnnie) was happy to talk about espresso and recommended some great coffee subscription services and local spots to check out. I got an iced cappuccino on a previous visit -- well balanced flavor and a good amount of fluffy foam! I returned a second time to try their espresso and hot drinks. They use huckleberry sound and vision blend. The espresso was light but not floral/fruity like most light roasts. The hot cappuccino was also solid. This is one of my favorite places in the United States. The owners and staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming, and their home furnishings are perfection. Really beautiful and unique pieces sourced from both local fabricators but also from Europe. They specialize in home accessories, lamps, furniture, table wear, children's gifts, and the like. The café is not to be missed... a true gem. The whole range of coffees and teas but also homemade cakes and pastries. We recently attended one of their occasional dinners, and I can't remember a more fun event. If anywhere near Vail or Beaver Creek, this spot is a must. Can I give a sixth star? read more

This a cute coffee shop inside of a store. They do have an amazing outdoor space and a few tiny tables inside. The store sells unique gifts/furniture/things that you never knew that you needed, etc. Definitely lots of stuff that you don't see everywhere. Of course, they come with a nice price tag )) The coffee shop doesn't have an extravagant menu but I think it's perfect as they can accommodate whatever request you have. I thought it was interesting that they only had an oat milk for milk substitutes but it is not a huge deal breaker for me, however, I know some people have strong preferences (almond, soy, etc.) Overall, it is worth making a stop to check out this cool spot! read more

Stepped in here and wanted to move in immediately. The owners have curated such a special space with thoughtful gifts... I bought several items for myself and others and really enjoyed the shopping experience... and then I got coffee. Whoa. Best cappuccino I've had in a LONG time, and I'm picky (and used to great craft coffee in DC.) . Loved the touch of the cookie served on top and the aesthetic of the space! While visiting Colorado, I knew I wanted to stop into this little shop I had seen online. I had read about Hygge (hoo-ga) and wanted to check it out. It did not disappoint. Hygge Life is owned by the sweetest local couple and I cannot express how helpful they both were during our visit. When we drove up, we immediately saw this beautifully modern chair covered with a sheepskin throw - and twinkle lights in the window. It screams cozy. Walking in and immediately to the left is a hanging rope swing (go for a swing like I did, they encourage it)! It is peaceful and calming just wandering though this store. My fiancé and I walked around looking at all the beautiful items they had. All items have a unique story and each item is hand picked by the couple to invoke HYGGE in every sense of the term. From the rugs and throws, to the home decor and gifts - novels and cookbooks on Hygge to the children's toys and clothing. Everything in the store is beautiful and has a purpose. Nothing is overwhelming or boring. I loved the necklaces and towels. Oh, and did I mention the throw blankets? They made me want to curl right up in them in the store. I was even offered coffee during my visit, which I kindly declined as I personally didn't want to spill it! I ended up purchasing a few items to take home with me (one being a gift for a friend) and I am so glad I did. I was pleasantly surprised they wrapped my gift up in twine, without me even asking! I was so impressed with the overall feel of this store. It felt calming and inviting. Their customer service is beyond anything i have ever experienced while shopping anywhere! Every item in this space is top quality (I almost purchased every dish in the store!!) and beautifully made. If you want to know more about the item, including its origins, they will answer all of your questions, so feel free to ask. My only disappointment is they do not have a location by me, but they said they are going to have their site available for online purchases, which made me happy. I will be back, even if it is online. Do yourself a favor and check out this store. They have amazing gifts and home decor items. And, if you know anyone with children, this is a great place to get an item for them as well. read more

We visited Hygge Life in early september while staying in the Vail valley for the weekend. All i can say is if you are driving by you MUST Stop in. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable about their wares and artists. The coffee and baked goods delicious. And of course I wanted literally everything in the store! It is so well curated.
