Eager to find a way to continue my ride I searched on-line for the closest bike shop which happened to be Circle Cycle not too far away. I hadn't heard about this shop before because I haven't been riding to frequently over the last couple of years. When I got there, I was instantly greeted by the shop's the shop's two owners who were extremely polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. They graciously supplied me with a new tube and even offered the tools needed so I could fix my tire quickly because I was in a rush to get back on those trails! I enjoyed having knowledgeable conversation about the history of their shop, upcoming events and races in the surrounding areas, and an outline of their shop's setup. While there, I took notice of their bike's they had for sale which offers a wide range from startup, mid-range, and even the elite high-end. Their parts, equipment, and supplies covered everything a beginner, novice, and expert's would need. I highly recommend all bike enthusiasts to check this shop out as soon as you can. He said it would cost over $180-$200 to fix it, and that I was better off just getting a whole new motor and wheel. Instead, I brought it to my trusted bike shop that I used to live near, and those guys took great care of it, explaining that the 3 broken spokes had to be replaced, but that re-tensioning the wheel would actually take care of the other loose spokes. And it all cost under $50! Definitely stay away from this place!

Must be a lingo the one manager likes to throw around. What manager would say that to two new clients after knowingly that they have been patiently waiting over a year for the bikes to come? It's basically saying, I don't care about your $3,000 deposit commitment, I don't care about your patience of waiting over a year and still not knowing when your bikes will arrive and I don't care that you are choosing us to do business with as first time bicycle buyers. it's basically saying, we have people lined up that will take your place, you are just a number on a "laundry list" to us. We really wanted to have a long lasting relationship with this LBS. Got my full deposit refunded to me, will rather wait a few years to get the bikes we want from another bike shop than few month with this shop. I will never return to them for anything, ever. Looks like their over inflated egos have overgrown good old fashioned customer care, loyalty, resolution and respect. You don't treat a client like there's a laundry list to replace you, you treat your client as if he/she is the only one on that list. Period. The manager never said a simple sentence for customer resolution/retention; "What can I do to fix this and keep you as our new clients". So whatever your price point, you want someone who will be sensible, thoughtful, and helpful. And as with any purchase, you want to leave feeling excited, confident, and assured about your new item and the service you received. That's exactly what you'll get at Firehouse Cycles - the perfect shopping experience. I called ahead asking if they had the bike, color, and size I needed. Mike, the owner, offered to hold the bike for me for several days until I could make it out there. Mike was extremely well-informed, patient, and welcoming. I learned a lot about my new bike in the process, and felt comfortable to ask any and all questions. Within thirty minutes, my bike was ready to go fitted with all the accessories I had requested. Plus he picked water bottles and a helmet to match my new bike. This was also a great place to test ride a new bike: they have a large parking lot and quiet neighborhood around back. He offered to drive the bike to our house even though we live 40 minutes away! As you can see in other reviews, this is the norm. When I let him know this bike would be coming with me back to Cleveland, he said to never hesitate reaching out if I ever needed help with my bike. Mike also helped us pick out two bike racks for two separate cars, and even took the time to teach us how to set it up and secure our new bike. I left the shop with a huge smile on my face. If you do, all you get is an arrogant attitude. He'll tell you he's been doing this for 20 years but that's just because he happens have the only shop the market can bear. He also never supports local events, is often late opening the shop and is just generally sour. I will say his employees are great - he should run the books and leave the shop to people that actually appreciate customers and enjoy helping riders get back on their bikes.
