Specialized Sirrus 3.0 in Clay Umber - A white Specialized Sirrus 3.0 mountain bike with black accents and two pink water bottles mounted on the frame is parked on a sidewalk next to a stone wall. The bike features a flat handlebar, a black saddle, and disc brakes. The background includes a grassy area, a wooden fence, and parked vehicles, indicating an outdoor setting near a parking lot.

Wow. I have been looking for a new bike for a year. I have shopped in Ohio and New Jersey before coming to Firehouse Cycles. After trying out a few bikes, I found out Firehouse Cycles carried the bike and color I was interested in. Not only did I walk out with a bike I loved, but I also had the best experience at Firehouse Cycles. Buying a bike can be a huge investment, regardless of if you're getting your first bike to ride around town or looking for a top of the line race bike. So whatever your price point, you want someone who will be sensible, thoughtful, and helpful. And as with any purchase, you want to leave feeling excited, confident, and assured about your new item and the service you received. That's exactly what you'll get at Firehouse Cycles - the perfect shopping experience. I called ahead asking if they had the bike, color, and size I needed. Mike, the owner, offered to hold the bike for me for several days until I could make it out there. Mike was extremely well-informed, patient, and welcoming. I learned a lot about my new bike in the process, and felt comfortable to ask any and all questions. Within thirty minutes, my bike was ready to go fitted with all the accessories I had requested. Plus he picked water bottles and a helmet to match my new bike. This was also a great place to test ride a new bike: they have a large parking lot and quiet neighborhood around back. He offered to drive the bike to our house even though we live 40 minutes away! As you can see in other reviews, this is the norm. When I let him know this bike would be coming with me back to Cleveland, he said to never hesitate reaching out if I ever needed help with my bike. Mike also helped us pick out two bike racks for two separate cars, and even took the time to teach us how to set it up and secure our new bike. I left the shop with a huge smile on my face. I wish every shopping experience was like this. Thank you Mike and the rest of the team at Firehouse Cycles!

Went in for a bike repair. Very quick fix (within 24 hours) even given how busy it was. Everyone was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful!

As you know you can't get bikes easily and I was told by many including the bike company that I shouldn't expect it until August.

Placed an order, items were in stock online But when I went to pick them up only one of them was…read moreready and it was not obvious that the rest of my order would not be ready till next week. The employee helping me at the registern couldn't seem to care less and kept giving me attitude. Essentially putting the onus of blame on me, not the company. I then told him that I needed those pairs as soon as possible because the storm was coming tomorrow. He begrudgingly helped me find several other pairs to replace those and I thought everything would be kosher, I would pay the difference on what they were. He never mentioned that due to their policy he could not cancel the original order and I'd have to pay full price for the new pairs and then blindsided me with another $300 bill. I was visually upset by this to which he gave me more attitude and I said this is not my fault and then he said well. "It's not my our fault either, "you can just not show up next and it will be refunded." We can avoid picking those up and you won't be charged. Again placing the problem on me. Never once apologizing about the situation just continuously giving me attitude. The customer service would be a zero if I could give it that. Zero understanding of my situation. Zero respect for me just clearly wanted to leave and as soon as we were done he walked to the back room complaining about his day. Why he kept blaming me and acting like I was the nuisance, is beyond me. I get it, the day was very busy and long. Clearly he had it, also not my fault and no reason to treat me that way. Never apologizing about the situation the online system created. Never expressing any understanding for my poor experience. Never warning me that I'd have to pay twice and wait over a week for my money to be returned. Just blaming me and behaving very poorly. Oh, and the dude was going to throw away my receipt and I had to ask for it. What a PR*** I will go to KoP and avoid this location moving forward. Oh, the gentleman in the shoe section who helped me, he was fantastic.

DO NOT GO HERE, Owner is a scam artist. Here is Proof!…read more We bought 2 Diamond Back Hybrid bikes, about 5 yrs back from Dick Sporting goods. Worked like a champ everyday. 2 weeks ago, 2 of my spokes broke, on the Tow Path. Did a search and "Pure Energy Cycling" had good ratings, so I called them up and asked how much would this be and how long would it take? The owner said $30 bucks and drop the rim off, we'll call you when its ready. Two days later I dropped it off, he tagged it and said it would be $60. I told him, I called 2 days ago and you said it was $30. He rephrased his statement, and said "the maximum" repair would $60. I said ok and dropped it off. A week passed, I checked Amazon and Walmart, they sell 36 stainless steel spokes kit for 15.99. I proceeded back to the store (prepared to pick it up if ready) and he indicated "We would call when its ready", I said "I wanted the rim back". He said ok and indicated, the "Sprocket it stripped". I said, there was nothing wrong with the sprocket and I only wanted the 2 spokes replaced. He gave me the rim, as I was walking out, I noticed few things different, I said "This is not my rim", it has a different decal and I didn't remember the hub being black. He said look at the tag, its yours. Got home and looked at our 2 bikes, all HUBs are brushed nickel and thicker. (see pics to verify), now I have my rear wheel with a black skinny hub and the wing nut that tightens the rim to the frame, is CHROME! Clearly this rim is not mine, but I think they took my Sprocket and HUB and replaced it with a bad one, that's why he mentioned "my sprocket is stripped". This place is getting over on all its customers. DO NOT GO HERE!
