Stephani was very Knowledgeable and professional about handling what I needed done and what to expect. Center City Scooter Goes to Ambler! " Leave the campsite better than you found it" ? "Drop off a neglected scooter and have it come back much better than you left it? " Ambler Power Sports did just that. I dropped off a Honda Elite 80, needing 2 new tires, tune-up and oil change. They had it finished in a day. No problem if I need to store it for a while, unlike some in Port Richmond places, Ahmed, that charge by the day. And, and, it was waxed and polished like a new bike. Runs like a charm. Bob, the manager, ordered the tires without taking a card and I had never done business there before. That's a first! Called me promptly when the tires arrived. Called again when all finished. Invoices were texted. Boom, boom, boom. The way a business should be run but often bike stops are not. So why did I haul my scooter out 17 miles to Ambler when I live in Center City? Because there is not a single responsive, reliable, efficient, reasonably-priced scooter/motorcycle repair shop within 17 miles of center city Philly! Many never call back. Some are arrogant. Some don't know what a Suzuki Burgman is. Lucky to have found Ambler. Have a friend's Yamaha to go next, then my other big Suzuki scooter for oil, inspection and maintenance. I dropped off both wheels and new tires for mounting. Stephanie called me 10 minutes after I left to confirm the types of tubes that I wanted. (Since I didn't think of it). Their prices are competitive, the tires were done sooner than expected, they called me ASAP once they were finished. Had nothing but great experiences dealing with BBB. Took my old Suzuki there after it sat for several years. They got it back up and running like it was showroom new. They are also significantly less expensive than the dealer when it comes to inspection, repairs, service, etc. If you pass them by, you're doing yourself a disservice. read more

Took my bike in for a dyno tune. On the way there (over an hour ride), the rear wire harness got ripped out while riding over terrible roads that were under construction. Well that just ticked off the dyno tuner. He was torqued because my bike's wiring ran into an unexpected problem and he copped an attitude about. Nice. Anyhow, he did the tune ... to some extent. I have no idea what the hp and torque numbers were on the tune. They weren't given to me verbally, in writing or on the cd. Not a good experience. It was bad enough that my wire harness was shredded but then I had to deal with attitude and a sloppy tune. No thanks. read more
