Wednesday: Discounts on domestic bottles and wells. Thursday: Half-price wine, discounted craft cans, and a special priced pizza combo. Friday: Live music Saturday: Live music Sunday: Discounted mimosas, Blbloody Mary's, domestic buckets, wings, and appetizers. Plus, live music! We dropped in on a Sunday just before the live blues started up. I had a mango beer, and my wife had some wine. We also got an order of meatballs in sauce to snack on. There were three nice size meatballs served in a convenient to-go container in case we didn't finish them. They have 12 large screen TVs around the two rooms (there's a second room in the back, check it out) playing sports silently, including some interesting X-Games tupe stuff. Very cool. Whatever the reason, it didn't take us long to understand why Village Beverage is so popular. We came with the intent of having a glass of wine and listening to our friends perform for a bit, but ended up meeting new friends and shutting the place down! If you are looking for a place with great drinks, friendly staff, amazing lineups of musicians, and a fun atmosphere, VB is the place. Can't believe it's taken us this long to make it out there. They have plenty of beverage options, bottles and cans in the fridge, and snack options. There are also a few restaurants in the same lot, so you can order your meal and enjoy it out on the patio or at one of the tables inside. We look forward to checking out more local music at Village Beverage this summer.

He also made some great suggestions! We tried the pork nachos, the Brussel sprouts and the half dozen oysters. All were really good! I even remember around a year ago trying to go there with friends of mine but for some reason it was closed. So, when Ron and Victoria suggested it for dinner I was really glad they did. Kau is located at Revolution Mill. I continue to marvel how beautiful that whole place is. What they were able to do with old factories is outstanding. Every time I go to a business or restaurant or service there I'm always taken in by the beautiful decor and all that brick! Parking was easy and the place had a beautiful facade. Then the menu came and I was kind of shocked at the prices. I am still adjusting across the board to the new prices since all this inflation, but when I noticed most dishes were $30 and up, that kind of took away my breath. I even considered having meat since I know that is what they are known for, but I could not imagine ordering something that was $50 I ended up ordering their house salad with a skewer of shrimp. The two combined came to around $23. When the salad arrived, it was just ordinary and I was shocked that for $12 I got three shrimp. Really? Ron and Victoria felt the same. He had a meatloaf bowl and she had fish and chips. Mediocre portions + okay taste! The service was fine, but when we walked in we had to wait a few minutes for somebody to seat us and greet us and I just did not get a good vibe from this restaurant. I will not be back unless they want to offer me a free tomahawk that goes for $129 if I remember correctly Sent from AOL on Android

We stopped in before heading to a show at Tanger Center to celebrate my mom's birthday. After being seated on the patio, we waited at least 20 minutes without being acknowledged. A couple was seated next to us well after we arrived and was greeted within just a few minutes. I eventually had to walk back to the host stand to let someone know we'd been sitting there waiting. The same server who hadn't acknowledged us eventually came over to take our order. Thankfully, the food came out quickly, but unfortunately, the queso was completely cold, and my taco was barely lukewarm. I didn't want to make a fuss, so I let it go. As a person of color, I also can't ignore how uncomfortable it felt to watch another table receive immediate attention while we sat there without even being acknowledged by this sane server. I can't speak to the reason for the difference in service, but it certainly didn't feel good, especially considering the patio wasn't busy at the time. I've always enjoyed coming here over the years, which made this experience even more disappointing. I really hope this was just an off day.
