Where do I start... I have been a patron of Trackside since it opened and, like The Dude... Trackside abides. It's the bottle shop that caters to and honors the craft in local craft beer. You won't find any corporate macro brews here... only those that make the cut of Mike and his crew. If you're a lover of craft beer; you will love this bottle shop. If you are not a lover of craft beer... well, there's wine, Sake, ciders, and maybe even a root beer. Water? Okay... but, weird. Okay, there's some solid snacks as well, and THEY'RE CHEAP! One buck gets you a cup-o-snack and you're golden for a little while. You can even order out from Junction On 70 just a few doors down the sidewalk and pick up your order to eat at the bottle shop. You can chill at the bar, at a table, on the couch, out on the back patio, on your head (if you're that talented) and they are dog friendly as long as you have a friendly dog. I visited Trackside Bottle Shop when I was in Mebane for work. Great shop, great customer service and knowledgeable staff. I cannot remember the gentleman's name who was working but he was very helpful and let me taste several beers from the tap selection. Tap selection was fantastic and the bottle/can selection was very impressive. I picked up several local ciders and a local mead, as well as some nice Mikkeller cans that I struggle to find at home. I would definitely go back to this shop if I'm ever in Mebane for work again. Thanks! read more

I was asked to go pick up some beers on Friday and the thought of driving to the store was just not on the top of my list. I knew this place existed, but I had never been. What a great spot! They have a selection on shelves, a small selection in coolers, a tasting bar where you can also buy a pint or a growler, and a little outside patio. The staff was super knowledgeable and welcoming. The guy that helped me put together my 6 pack was customer service at its best. I'll definitely be back! Ps, y'all need to get on instagram! Since the windows are so tinted, it's hard to see what's going on inside. There is a good beer community on IG and it's way less frustrating than Facebook. Decent beer selection, 11 on tap. A few NC microbrews but not as many as you would expect with the hundreds of breweries in the Old North State. Probably better selection in cooler. Friendly bar staff, but not coversationists. Good selection for carry out. Owner stays in background. Not outgoing. Snacks for $1 /scoop which is a great touch, although we didn't care for the taste of some. read more

Terrific little gem in the heart of Mebane. We stopped in to see some local music. Terrific venue. Good sound for a two-man duo up front. We were allowed to bring in food from next door, as they do not have a kitchen. The beer selection was well-crafted. 11 beers on tap and hundreds more in bottle. There is definitely something for everyone. Knowledgeable staff made suggestions based on our party's preferences. There is a little spot in an out-of-the-way corner for kids to enjoy. There were several kids playing with legos or other games. It was great to find a place that you could enjoy great music and beer and bring the family along. We will definitely be back. read more

This is the most amazing place! The owners are super friendly and it's a lovely laid back feel. You can bring in outside food and dogs are welcome. They don't serve the regular beers because they encourage you to broaden your horizons. I don't like beer but since coming here they always make sure I find one that I like. They have about 6 or more on tap and tons of bottles/ cans in fridge and on shelves. I often come and end up staying for hours. My favorite place! read more
