    Carolina dog

First time checking out NGB, and it was a mostly good experience. I like the vibe of the place. Large, open and spread out interior (giggity), with a patio area outside with beer garden, and the booth we sat at was quite clean. The service was fine; nothing too impressive but nothing really to complain about either. I got the beermosa, which seemed a unique item to me. It was refreshing and did indeed taste like a mimosa with beer. My Carolina dog and fries were tasty with excellent texture to the fries as well. Prices are high, though. I know they are everywhere, but I'm gonna clock it every time it is. $25 for a beer, hot dog and fries is pretty nuts. Should be like $15 or even less...

Went in to Natty Greene's for a mid afternoon meal & beverage. Cool vibe to the interior and what looked to be a great patio. Sat down & were given menus and... never saw a server again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Menu looked Ok.. and, with a microbrewery in the back, you know the beer is going to be good. So it wasn't poor service, it wasn't surly service... umm- it was no service. After ~10 minutes shrugged & walked out - no one even at the greeter station to even see the exit

First time at Natty Greene's in a while! I love the atmosphere and all the updates. Our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered the deviled eggs, big nasty nachos, and Hog dip. All were delicious but I felt as if the nachos could have been better. Just a tiny bit more cheese would have few made them! The beer selection was great! After trying multiple items I chose the subtle tea beer. Also later ordered a bacon cider cocktail. Both were delicious!

Dropped in with a friend on a slower weekday. We were Seated quickly, greeted by staff upon entrance & our server didn't miss a beat. She recalled our orders without having to write them down, when making adjustments to our orders. The food and drinks were consistent. I did order the good dip on this trip. It also did not disappoint. No complaint's. I'll sure I'll drop in again before long.

Natty Greene's is a popular bar and restaurant downtown Greensboro! They have great food and drinks! You have options to sit inside or outside and they also have a beer garden too. I love to watch bands perform or even be visiting the restaurant when there are downtown events. The service is always stellar and staff are always welcoming! It's also located in a great area where you can walk to other businesses along the downtown Greensboro area.

They have some amazing chili! We didn't get that this time, but have gotten it several times in the past. I also feel like their beer selection has grown since our last visit. They have great food (the Big Nasty was delicious!). I wasn't a huge fan of the deviled eggs as they were a little sweet for my taste. We also got some hog dip and that was GOOD. I love how the inside looks and the outside seating. We will certainly be back!

This was my first time visiting Natty Greene's - a friend invited me and it was a solid experience. We did have a dog with us, so we didn't go inside, but there was enough outdoor seating that we were able to sit and enjoy our meal. The staff even brought out a water bowl for the dog to enjoy - that was so sweet and thoughtful. We ordered the Twisted Bavarian pretzel - it was huge and delicious! I ordered the Black & Blue burger with sweet potato fries and BBQ sauce - it was really tasty. Since we went for dinner and it was a beautiful night outside, the patio lighting over the seating area and the foot/road traffic was busy, the evening was lovely. I was very happy with the experience here and would gladly return. I am not sure about parking nearby as we walked over, but it's not a far walk from Bain St.

Natty Greene's is a fun downtown Greensboro spot that combines a great beer selection with a lively atmosphere. Their beer list is really solid--lots of different options to choose from--and for the non-beer drinkers, they've also got wine, ciders, and cocktails. The food menu is good, though it can sometimes be hit or miss. Overall, it's usually solid and pairs well with the drinks. What really makes this place shine is the space: a large indoor area, plus a fantastic patio with plenty of shade. There's also a separate outdoor area with a beer kiosk and stage for live music, which adds to the energy while still giving you spots to relax. Between the drinks, food, and lively downtown vibe, Natty Greene's is always a fun choice.

Visited 26 SEP I have intentionally waited and thought about this for a few days. Upfront, I am over 60, I have travelled the world, been to Michelin places, and eaten cold MRE's in the rain. Natty Greene's is likely a good place, I just don't think it is for me. I wish them much continued success over the years. I am willing to accept that our visit on the back end of the lunch hours on a Friday may not be their premium "game time". I would suspect they don't have the A-team on during this shift, prepping for big Friday night/weekend (not far from Greensboro college). Most of the people we saw in the restaurant and walking the streets were in the 18-40 range. There are some positives for sure. It is on a corner lot of a busy downtown area, they have a patio and big open spaces indoors. I didn't go upstairs but likely same open inviting space. The decorations are minimal but fit the space. The furnishings are nice, clean and good lines. I am not a fan of the casual, bar t-shirt, wear whatever staff "uniform". I think it lends an air of less dedication to the service ethic, feels lazy. It is as if some students ran over from an afternoon lab to make a few tips for weekend drinking (nothing wrong with that, been there, done that). The food is okay. My Black & Blue burger was average. There was nothing wrong with it, but there was nothing about it to support the price point. The bun could have been toasted, the mushrooms and cheese crumbles (if any) was a soggy mush under the patty. I would have mushroom (with more texture/less moisture) under and crumbles on top. It was a good enough sandwich, but again, at the price point, I wasn't "satisfied". My wife got the Natty Melt, again average. She has been getting that sandwich at various new places we have been visiting since retirement and this one was in her bottom half. The fries were okay, not quite hot/fresh. The presentation/plating for both meals was underwhleming for a $50.00 lunch. [I set bun aside for photo, came out like school lunch] The service was okay, a bit lackluster and non-engaged, but did nothing wrong and got the job done. I can't say we wouldn't give this place another shot, maybe evening with a table of people or something. It just seems more like a socializing, party sort of place, rather than a sit down serious meal option. Natty Greene's is a [Brewpub], considering that, I think they likely do that at a higher performance point than they do lunch.

This isn't my first time here, however it's been over 5yrs since I last was. I haven't had a good experience as far as drinks and food go. The service was always great, though. I met up with a friend on a Friday night. It was packed outside, but not in. I waited about 5 minutes before a host appeared. Our server was very sweet. Super friendly. We decided to order cocktails and appetizers while we debated on our entrees. I ordered a Manhattan, and friend got a Tequila Sunrise. My drink wasn't blended well at all, and he didn't care for his cocktail either. We got the blistered shishito peppers, and skewered shrimp. There was nothing special about the peppers. With or without the dipping sauce served with it. It tastes like regular green peppers. The shrimp was decent, yet nothing special either. We got creative and made a sandwich with the peppers, sauce, and shrimp. It worked a little. We finished our drinks and left. The appetizers weren't appealing, and didn't want to risk ordering entrees.

I have been going to Nata greens ever since they opened 20+ years ago in downtown Greensboro. It has always been a nice brewery, and the food has gone up and down over the years. I am absolutely thrilled to say that my favorite item on the menu which is a turkey wrap with raspberry mayo is back on the menu. This is the only thing that I order there and it is spectacular! I get fries with ranch for my side and only eat half of the wrap, as this holds up super well is extremely filling and is great the next day. Regarding service, I can't remember anything especially positive or negative and the ambience is of an upscale brewery.

My updated review is a year overdue. My husband and I decided to give Natty's another try during last year's Folk Fest with the opening of the new Beer Garden. I'm loving some of the new brews I've tried over the past few visits, including the Yuzu Gose and the Juicy Love IPA. I enjoyed the deviled eggs and wings shared with friends during a recent birthday celebration and when we've discussed places to grab a casual bite to eat and a beer downtown, Natty's has been top of the list for my husband. I'm pleased that they've been consistent during return visits. The Elm Street Philly knocked it out of the park on our most recent visit. Continuing the upward climb with these updates and upgrades will ensure Natty's remains a pivotal piece of downtown for 20 more years.

We stopped in for lunch again. The food was great, the service was friendly and helpful, and the patio was perfect on a hot summer day. Natty Greenes is quickly becoming a favorite spot of ours!
