Hidden Gate Brewing is such a fun and exciting spot in downtown Greensboro. The vibe here is fantastic, with a great indoor/outdoor setup connected by huge garage door style openings that bring the whole place together. Outside you've got cornhole and games. Inside there's plenty of seating and TVs, so it works whether you want to hang out casually or catch a game. The beer selection is excellent, with something for everyone, and the flights make it easy to sample around. It's the kind of place where you can stop in for one or settle in for a few. One of the biggest bonuses is the permanent food truck, Savoury Eats Kitchen, right outside. That deserves its own review, but let's just say having that kind of food right on hand makes the experience even better. Great atmosphere, wonderful beer, tasty food, and a lively location downtown. Hidden Gate Brewing nails it.

Love Hidden Gate! One of those spots that feels instantly comfortable. The beer list has plenty of options for all - something for hop heads, lager lovers, and everyone in between. The service is always friendly and laid back, the space itself has a relaxed, welcoming vibe with plenty of room to hang out. Love the food truck always available and corn hole set up outside!

Hidden Gate Brewing has become one of our favorite hang outs in Greensboro. It really is hidden away which makes it less busy than the hustle and bustle of street front eateries/breweries downtown. The staff is always friendly and they always have an assortment of beer/cocktails/mocktails so that there's something for every mood you're in. The space is a bit small but there are plenty of games and activities indoors/outdoors to keep you busy. They also have a resident food truck that is FIRE, so you have food right at your fingertips. We definitely look forward to our next outing at Hidden Gate!

Talk about a hidden gem! This place is absolutely wonderful for downtown. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a good vibe going around. Huge Connect 4 available too! The food truck on site also has tasty options to pair with their brews. Looking forward to trying it the next time I visit. I truly enjoyed their Czech Pilsner. It was outstanding enough to come again. Service was solid and the bartenders recommended great options. Don't sleep on this one.

This was the first stop on our Brew Peddler tour of Greensboro, and the staff was super friendly, and welcoming us in. They had several drinks specials being offered for the day, maybe even more than normally because of the 4/20 crawl going on in the area. The interior space is small, but plenty of seating and a large patio in the front allowing plenty of space to spread out, play corn hole and a few other patio games. The beer selection is very varied offering many different styles brewed in house as well as a few other offerings from local brewers. They have a food truck parked outside permanently, which offers tacos, bowls, sandwiches and a small appetizer list. Fun space, and I'm excited to come back and check it out more soon!

Hidden Gate is a very solid brewery with so many options available as well as liqour options. I love the outside sitting area as well. Cornhole available too. Come check them out! Right beside the railroad tracks.

Solid spot for a cold brew! I opted for the Greensboro grapefruit gose during my last visit and it was served cold and tasty! They had something for everyone, including wines. The interior of this brewery was pretty small and the available seating was limited. However, we were able to find picnic table seating outside. My group was able to play cornhole, which was loads of fun! We were also able to go in and out as we pleased to get additional drinks and service was speedy. A drawback is that this place is very close to the train tracks, so the noise level was a little dicey. However, the space that they curated was casual and enjoyable. I'm not sure if I would build my entire night off of this spot, but it was a very worthwhile stop on a night downtown night out with friends!

Super cute brewery in downtown Greensboro. They offer a wide variety of beers on tap and cans as well as wine and cocktails. We had just popped in for a beer while in the area. They don't offer food but had a food truck right in front you could order from. The bartender was attentive, and the service was quick. Random fact, but my husband wanted me to add that the men's room has the coolest urinal he has ever peed in I can't vouch for it but apparently it is a keg, cut in half.

The name of the business is not misleading at all! You truly wouldn't know it's here until you go walk there, it's a hidden gem! There's a few things to do outside and they have the bar inside and an amazing food truck is on site! There's places to sit inside and outside, they have Cornhole and a full bar with drafts on tap as well. I'll be back to try their food truck!

Hidden gate is a nice "hidden" gem in Greensboro. They have a nice selection of craft beers and moderate selection of liquor options as well for cocktails. I like that it is typically never overly crowded and service is great. Prices are decent and at times they have live music and trivia nights. They also have a food truck with good food and cornhole which I enjoy playing. You do have to park on the street along Elm St, but it is a easy walk to the hidden gate location across from train tracks.

This is a cool place to stop for a beer, cider, wine or mixed drink. They don't serve food but sell snacks like chips and jerky. The beer is very good and creative. We got the Dragon Fruit IPA which was amazing! I'm an avid IPA drinker and usually like west coast styles but this one was really good! My spouse got the peach Dollop. She said it tasted like a cream sickle and she loved it. My son got the Jet Black Cat. I tried it and it had a smooth chocolate finish. This venue has street markets on the weekends and events throughout the week like karaoke. It's a cool place to hang out and is near other cool places. There is a large paid parking right behind the venue. Server was kind and helpful. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 starts was for the lack of snacks offered. I've visited many breweries and this was the least amount of snacks I've seen at a location.

Great spot right by the tracks!

Stopped in for a quick pint before heading home after being out and about on a Saturday. Delicious beers! Appeared to be short staffed as there was just one bartender and tables were not getting cleaned off as folks were leaving. Owner arrived and jumped in just as we were leaving. Love the location by the tracks!

The tuna was fresh, flavorful, and overall the dish tasted great. My only critique is that there was hardly any quinoa. When I hear "quinoa bowl," I picture something more like a rice bowl where quinoa is the main base -- but this felt more like a salad with a small scoop of quinoa. Still good, just a little misleading name-wise. Drinks were solid, staff was nice and friendly, and service was smooth. Total came to $57.94, which felt a little pricey for what we ordered, but not outrageous for the area and waterfront location. Also worth noting: they are not pet-friendly inside, so keep that in mind if you're out with your pup. Overall -- great food and good drinks, just slightly pricey and the bowl name set different expectations.

They've also rounded out the drinks offerings a bit more than the last time I was here a few years ago.
