Truly a lovely place to end up when you're at the airport. Very welcoming staff and really good food.

This is an amazing wine restaurant. The staff understood the assignment. They're nice. They're friendly. They have smiles. They asked to take your order very quickly. They give you your choices of wine and the food is delicious. The people are very nice.I was sitting next to a couple that had too much. And they offered for me to share with them, which was unbelievable that don't happen in california. But the experience was wonderful.I would recommend them to anyone who's in saint louis airport.Stop by, check them out in the prices are reasonable. As well

They are honest with what they serve - drinks and a bit of food. Super friendly staff too. Can't say the wine list is anything special, but for an airport, you can't complain too too much. The food, though, is decidedly not cheap either (nor is anything an the airport), and the cobb salad felt like more protein than salad. Maybe not a bad thing per se, but just so you know what you're getting when you order.

I had 2 hours to kill. The day was foggy and gloomy. Too cold. I decided to have a healthy lunch . It is the place I like. Beet and Avocado salad with chicken and walnuts. So tasty and refreshing. Love it.

We came across this place at St. Louis airport during a stopover. It seemed like a nice child-free zone, more upscale than the other bars with tvs or fast food places. The chance to do a wine flight was appealing plus they had a deal on 3 for $39 bottles. We passed on that. As part of Women's History Month, they featured flights by Women owned vineyards or companies, so I opted for that. I was not too thrilled with the $20+ price of the Mediterranean salad with chicken added, but it's the airport, what can you do? It was very good, I have to say and it's hard to find fresh, healthy option in an airport. Our server was professional but not over-chatty. I will look for these when I travel via plane, but maybe just do the flights instead of the overpriced food.

Gate A at STL airport... tried the Queens Pick flatbread and the white wine flight. LOVED the Woolpack Sauvignon blanc! The service was not great but I thoroughly enjoyed the wine and food. I want to order a bottle of that wine!!!

We discovered this restaurant after car shopping at some dealerships on Lindbergh. The space offers both indoor and outdoor patio seating as well as a separate bar space. The restaurant's bones are noticeably historic and the décor choice is a mix of farmhouse and modern styles. Our server was very friendly and answered any questions we had and was also enthusiastic about our car-buying process, encouraging celebratory drinks. The food was delicious! American fare with a modern twist - Hendel's had lots of brunch and lunch options. I opted for the Salmon Power Bowl and it tasted extremely fresh and healthy. Definitely stop in to this spot if you're in the Florissant area and looking for some historic charm.

The building does a lot of the work here: an old place sitting in the middle of Old Town Florissant's residential blocks, with a bar, a dining room, a porch, and a patio we didn't get to use (next cool evening, we will). It's charming, and a real asset to that neighborhood. It is also loud. Old plaster, hard surfaces, not enough hung on the walls to absorb any of it. The old fashioned was solid, sweeter than I prefer. Appetizers were the low point: toasted ravioli thick and hard enough to qualify as gum scratchers (filling was fine), flatbread middle of the road. Then the kitchen found its footing. Parmesan-encrusted chicken won the table, with a nice rice-orzo pilaf and green beans that weren't overcooked. The Jameson whiskey burger came blue cheese, bacon, crispy onions, glaze, brioche, and ate dry (although ordered medium): too many rich flavors, nothing acidic to cut through them. Burnt ends mac and cheese was good and rich, but the brisket wasn't tender as I had hoped. We caught a night with only one dessert (a moist Lemon Sunshine cake that tasted like a Dreamsicle) and ice cream to put beside it. Christy took good care of us, efficiently and strictly by the book. 3.7 out of 5 stars Punch up the apps, and bring some balance to some of the entrees and this would bring up my rating to the low 4s. Bring the relatives who flinch at a menu. Acid somewhere on the plate, tender brisket, ice cream by the cake, and something soft on those walls would move this up quickly.

First of all, great environment, offer inside and outside seating. The drink selection were amazing, their mojito was so fresh and delicious. For the dishes we ended up with the risotto, the Yukon potato, and the spicy shrimp pasta. Honestly it blew me away. The flavor and taste was right on. For people who likes more bland and simple taste it might feel a little overpowering but for someone who grew up with Asian seasoning and flavor it was like heaven. I will be back many more times because I would like to try everything on the menu and I will be inviting everyone I know to try as well! Service was great, you can tell staff are busy but they are very attentive, parking could be a little tricky but there are many places you could park down the street or just in parking lots behind Main Street and just walk to the place. Highly recommend!!!

Adding the dip on top made it more of little pizza bites instead. Table favorite! Rigatoni alla vodka is my favorite pasta and I've had it at multiple establishments including my own kitchen and this one wasn't anything special. I actually couldn't taste the alla vodka part at all. It really just tasted like cheesy pasta with salmon. No real flavor. I guess that's why it's not listed as a crowd favorite. Ambiance is low lit and in the main dinning area, it can get really loud so if anyone is hard of hearing, it's best to get a reservation outside as it was difficult for one in our party. It didn't help that our waitress would step two steps back away from our table and let other waiters and waitresses pass in front of her instead of behind. Street parking is horrendous but my in-laws were able to find a spot right out front. We opted for the parking lots in the back as we don't mind walking a bit. It did rain a bit but we had an umbrella.

Scarlet's Wine Bar -- Wuthering Heights, But With Cocktails…read more Had Emily Brontë given Catherine and Heathcliff access to Scarlet's Wine Bar, Wuthering Heights might have been a significantly happier book. Forget wandering the moors crying out for your tortured lover. Get yourself to the patio, order a cocktail, and pull yourself together. Scarlet's is a hidden gem with just the right amount of romance and charm. It's perfect for a light lunch, a romantic dinner, or an afternoon spent dramatically staring into the distance while wondering why Heathcliff hasn't texted back. Start with the cocktails, which arrive mixed to perfection in beautiful, classic glassware. These are not drinks served in some unfortunate tumbler. These are the sort of glasses Catherine Earnshaw would have dramatically clutched while declaring, "I am Heathcliff!" before ordering another round. Then comes the food. The watermelon salad is out of this world--fresh, bright, and absolutely delicious. Frankly, there would have been considerably less misery at Thrushcross Grange had someone simply served everyone a proper salad. Follow it with the pear and prosciutto pizza. Sweet pear, salty prosciutto, crispy crust--layers of flavor almost as complicated as Catherine and Heathcliff's relationship, but with a much more satisfying ending. And then... The blueberry cheesecake. Light. Fluffy. Dreamy. As soft as the clouds drifting lazily above Scarlet's patio--and considerably less ominous than the clouds hanging over the Yorkshire moors. The staff is fantastic: warm, friendly, attentive, and thankfully no one appears to be harboring a decades-long revenge plot against another family. But the real star may be the patio. Sit outside. Order another cocktail. Let lunch stretch shamelessly into the afternoon. Watch the clouds roll by. Discuss lost loves. Curse the cruel hand of fate. Or just order another piece of cheesecake. Scarlet's Wine Bar is romantic, charming, delicious, and wonderfully relaxed. So forget Wuthering Heights. For one glorious afternoon, make it Wuthering Delights. Heathcliff! Heathcliff! ...I'll be on the patio.
