Great resort with spacious units, vineyards and great pool-spa area! I was only here for a few nights but it was close to downtown. Wish there were more restaurants in the area .

Spent over 30 min on the phone waiting for a customer service rep to pick up the phone. Both times at the 15 min mark of the held phone call it automatically hung up. What a waste of 30 min of my life. Problem is that because the washer in the room flooded the room they gave me a $200 room credit. I used it at the store prior to checking out and bought 6 bottles if wine and a couple other things. Tital charge was $206. Fast forward almost a month and the $200 has not been credited back to me yet. Ended up calling the Meritage Resort number and had my problem fixed and my money refunded within 2 minutes. Do better Vino Bello.

Overall I had an okay stay. The best part of this was when I checked in at the Meritage concierge by a trainee. I don't remember his name but he was so professional and friendly! If his name tag didn't say trainee I probably couldn't even tell he was one! His customer service was wonderful and it was a highlight of my stay. When I arrived into my room I had a complimentary bottle of red wine waiting for me on the table. The beds were alright however the pillows were too flat for me. Maybe it's just I'm getting old and I need to start bringing my own pillow or something. The room looks a bit old as the style is def not modern but it was fine. I had a good view of the pool and their vineyard. Luckily there was nothing wrong with my room! My colleagues' room on the other hand had a broken AC unit. She told the front desk and they came to fix it right away. I was able to visit the pool one of my nights. I liked that there was a kids pool too, very shallow. There are towels there and bbq equipment but I didn't see anyone using it. What was difficult staying here was the limited parking. We had to park on the street twice because the lot was full. It kinda made the parking permit/pass nonsensical. Anyway it was a decent stay and the location is close to the main road if you're looking for a Napa getaway!

Stayed here for our long Napa weekend. Everything you need is on the grounds. From restaurants, coffee shop, entertainment, pools and etc, we enjoyed our stay. Staff was great, except for Room Service. I've had better food on a cruise ship.‍

Kitchen

We appreciated the spacious rooms, but they are definitely outdated. One major downside was the lack of housekeeping--no services until the 4th day of our stay, and no option to get fresh towels, coffee, or cream refills in the meantime. You have to go to the lobby for fresh coffee once you finish what's in the room. Communication was also disappointing. We tried calling to confirm our reservation before arry, but no one ever answered. Even after leaving a voicemail, we never received a call back. We were lured into attending a 90-minute timeshare presentation with the promise of a gift, but what was offered--a one-week stay in a subpar location--was not appealing and made us even less interested in joining Wyndham club. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but only for the convenience and definitely not at full price.

I've been here several times but I believe this is the first time occupying a one bedroom on the ground floor In the Cabernet building. This was located around the corner in a quiet area within site of the pool. On this cool fall weekend the pool area was quiet unlike during warmer times like summer. Quiet is nice! It seems like they have refurbished some of the rooms which is a welcome change.

We've been with SVC since 2009 so whenever we got a chance for a mini-staycation in Napa, Vino Bello is our spot! Centrally located to our "go to" places - dining, shopping or visiting family/friends in the area!

After a few nights the place was still great but a few things I wanted to mention. The mattress is extremely soft, just FYI. I am more of a firm mattress person so this was different for me. Also during our stay we did not receive any new towels or trash pick up while we were there. Now I will say the day after we arrived we did place the do not disturb sign on the door for that day only, so that may have been towel exchange day but I'm not sure. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and the weather was beautiful.

Stayed with my friend as a guest, she is a member of the Wyndham timeshares so I can't complain too loudly, but will a bit. Positives: -beautiful lobby with an occasional comp wine tasting. -comp glass of champagne at the vino bello concierge (way in back of lobby) upon checking in -free parking, just need to get the paper tag -comp bottle of wine in room -nice walking trial right behind resort in vineyard Negatives: -decor is dated -cold water only in both of our 2 suite rooms right next to each other at 4-5pm on a Friday...so random...is everyone checking in on a Friday & showering - the pool stinks! The nice pool off the lobby is for Meritage guests only. No recliners or pillow cushion seats for hard wrought iron upright chairs. Shade is scarce & no pool service as in older much nicer pool. Happy to visit as a guest but not worth the amount of points my timeshare friend had to use.

Ask the Community - Vino Bello Resort

Is there a restaurant?

Yes there is. There's like a bar that serves drinks and some appetizers in the lobby area. And then next door there's a pub and bar like place. They have yummy food.

Is the pool open for guest now?

Yes it's open

How early can you check in?

Depends on the day. 4pm is official check-in time. You can often check-in an hour or two earlier.

I booked a one bedroom with king and sofa bed. Is this the room with a living room as well and a bathtub in the bedroom?

Yes. Jacuzzi tub. Huge shower in the bathroom. Kitchen living room is connected and his a really nice room. Also has a fire place.

Hi! We have a scheduled stay at the resort in July and want to know if the bbq area by the pool can be reserved ahead of time?

Does anyone know how big the jetted tubs are like in their condo rooms?

I don’t know the dimensions but my hubby is 6’3” 200lbs and I am 5’3” 120lbs and we fit fine however a bit snug for him.

Solid 4 stars. Resort Amenities & Family Fun: There is an impressive amount to do on-property without needing to leave. Our toddler loved the little coop where you can walk over and visit the hens and chickens. Between the swimming pools and the evening movie night, there was always something engaging going on. Dining & Location: Plenty of dining options across the village and main resort grounds, though be prepared for crowds--several spots get quite packed during peak dinner hours, so booking ahead helps. It's also just a short, convenient drive into downtown Napa. Room & Cleanliness: Our stay was comfortable, but certain aspects of the room definitely could have been cleaner upon check-in. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but at this resort tier and price point, housekeeping attention to detail could be dialed in a bit more. This spot is close to downtown Napa yet away from the crowds, and it was nice to unwind and recharge along the river while we waited for dinner reservations. Our first visit was in 2023 when they had just opened less than a year. We stayed in an Arbor Cottage, which was the standalone cottage with a super spacious and luxurious bathroom and outdoor shower. Second stay was in 2025 in which we stayed in the Rambler, which also had a spacious bathrooms and outdoor shower and back patio. Downside was that our room was located all the way at the top of the hill by the employee parking, making it a trek to and from the pool. Our most recent stay was in a Acre room, which I think was the best for our family. It was quite spacious with living area but the bathroom was much smaller than the Arbor and Rambler, with no outdoor shower. But in all honesty, it was perfect because my boys cared more about the swimming pool than anything else. During this last visit, we were immediately greeted by Tom, and Isiah helped with our checkin. They were incredibly attentive and helpful. Our previous visits did not have such a warm checkin experience. I also appreciate that they put us in a room closer to the pool. There really is no reason to leave the ranch once you're checked in. The food onsite is incredible, but pricey (it's nominal considering you're already paying a lot to stay though). I will admit they used to have a great deal where kids eat free, and I wish they brought that back. And a must try is the lavender morning bun from Gavel! It's perfectly flaky, smooth, sweetened just right with the lavender sugar that isn't overwhelming. I wish I had bought more to bring home! Overall this is a wonderful resort worth the splurge, especially for families even if it doesn't seem like it at a first glance. They have a shallow kiddy pool as well, and lots of activities for kids on site. There's also breathtaking views from the adults only pool at Halehouse and from Infinity Hill. Totally recommend the splurge if you can!

We especially want to recognize Rachel from Guest Services. She was outstanding. Every time we called with a question or request, she took care of it immediately with kindness and professionalism. She truly made our stay special and deserves to be recognized. A big thank you as well to Ben, the Front Desk Manager, along with Chris, Olivia, and Yazmin at the front desk. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond. The complimentary Mercedes-Benz house cars were an amazing touch and one of our favorite parts of the stay. And the spa is something you won't forget Thank you to the entire Stanly Ranch team for making our visit so unforgettable we can't wait to return.

Decided to book the Westin for one night during a 2 week roadtrip while we explored Napa. The first…read moreimpression was not too great, but I definitely enjoyed our room and view! First impressions: unfortunately there was only valet inside the garage or street parking. I'm not the biggest fan of valet, especially when traveling with so much stuff and a baby, but that was the only option. It is complimentary, though, so it is a positive for many people. The front of the property was also going through if construction and I had a hard time finding my way to the lobby from the street. Luckily a hotel guest coming back led me up to the area. Once inside, the actual interior lobby area is beautiful and fairly spacious. Check in was easy and the service up front was good, nothing bad to say there! After making my way back to our car and going through the valet, we luckily were able to get a cart to Bri g all of our stuff up to our room. I did book our room with points and was pleasantly surprised with our lovely king suite. It was beyond spacious! I did have some issues with cleanliness, but overall, everything was well maintained. We loved the kitchen having so many of the items we would've needed, the spacious bathroom (which honestly, is larger than the actual bedroom!), the fact that you could call for more complimentary water bottles, and wear the provided robes in the closet (although one seemed to be dirty). There is also a complimentary shuttle that can take you to town :) We didn't use the other hotel amenities, such as the pool and bar/restauarant, but loved all the seating inside and outside, as well as the location. Great walkability to many restaurants! Overall, the price was quite high for the experience I had and I am glad I got to use my chase points to help pay for it, but it is still a good option for families and the location is pretty nice along the river!

We had an excellent stay last week at the Westin Verasa Napa. I loved how close it was to downtown…read moreand Oxbow Market, as we did the Wine Trolley and it was an easy walk to meet the trolley in the morning and walk back after. The room was very spacious, which was greatly appreciated. The AC worked great and the room was nice and clean. The parking attendants charged our car before our drive home, which was wonderful and we appreciated not having to worry about it. One frustration was the hotel transportation was out of commission, but we were told at check in that it was running. The uber from downtown wasn't expensive, but it was an expense we weren't thinking we would to have to pay. We also were charged for dry cleaning when we ordered laundry service, but this was remedied in the end. Even with these snafus I would still definitely recommend the Westin Verasa Napa, and I would stay here again as well.
