When I came I saw that this place is basically a smaller mom-and-pops winery, which offered 4 of their own wines, including other wines that they imported and fermented themselves. So, I just ordered their own wines. You can taste 4 wines from a list. Luckily, all 4 were from their own Colorado home vines. I sat outside at a table looking over their vineyards. I ended up buying a single glass of their white wine. I had a good time and the prices weren't bad. Plus, they had a few cute pups (Tucker the Golden Retriever!) come up to me to keep me company. They explained the process of making each cheese and how they get different flavors and sharpness with some of the cheeses. They also paired the cheese with two different wines they provided. Now, word to the wise, a friend of mine and I came here after a hike - the BEST time to stop into any winery :) - It was Sunday around 1pm and every table outside was completely booked and we had two dogs with us, so we had to sit outside. We were almost out of luck, but thankfully one reservation did not show, so after a short wait, they seated us right by the stage. All of the staff were friendly and helped us get settled in, even offering a dog water bowl and little dog yoga mats so they would be comfy on the gravel. We ordered a flight - 6 tastes for $15, highly recommend and we treated ourselves to a post-hike baked brie that was perfect. We found out that if you order three bottles of wine to take home your tasting is free, so naturally... :) I will call ahead and make a reservation next time so we can be seated right by the river. Wow, this tour has a lot of die-hard Celestial Seasonings fans. As for me, I enjoy factory tours…read more(as a child, I spent a lot of my time watching "How it's made"). Going on the first tour of the day, there was a sizable line of people queuing at the door, which opened right on time. You get checked in, and get a packet of tea as a ticket. Once everyone has been accounted for, you're advised to use the washroom as you can't really leave the tour later to avail yourself of the toilets. The experience starts with a short film regarding the company's history, and then you're off the the factory floor. You have to don some snazzy hairnets as part of health regulations. You can see them mixing the herbs in giant lots, pack the herbs in sachets, and finally wrap them up into packaging. You also get to smell the mint room - where the mints are segregated so their aroma doesn't leech into any of the other herbs. The tour concludes with the gift shop and the all-you-can-drink tea tasting. Delicious!

We were unable to go on the tour because we had a baby with us and an adult would have to sit back with her, which we did not want to do. If you have children over the age of life and want to do the tour, it was $5 per ticket which seems pretty fair. Fortunately, we were able to go to the tea tasting and taste different type of teas. They did not have honey to sweeten the teas, but they did have sugar and an alternative sugar. They had three cold teas, and four hot teas. We especially liked the cold blueberry tea. They had almost eighty different type of teas to choose from on the menu and I got the iced black tea and a warm jasmine tea, both were delicious. The restrooms were clean and everyone seemed very helpful in the tea tasting area. Like I said, we were not able to do the tour, but we were able to go to the gift shop. It was a good mix of things, like snacks, tea towels and cups and measuring spoons. Everything was really cute but I wish I had more options with their name on it, and the picture of the sleeping time bear. I liked a lot of the mugs, but I wanted one that had the bear and the celestial seasoning's name on it, so I left with a magnet and of course, tea. Overall, I would definitely come back when we are in Boulder next time and recommend it to everyone to go at least once.

We saw horses on the opposite shore and a bunny by the big waterfall feature. Several walking paths. There was a live singer with a guitar and harmonica while we were there. Asked him to play his choice of any Tom Petty song and he nailed it with American Girl. We didn't have any food but we did buy three different bottles of wine to share within our party of 12. I enjoyed the Barbera from their Lodi, CA signature series. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
