So I don't see how they can advertise as using "free and clear" detergent. Doesn't that mean scent-free? Family medical issues have resulted in home chores, one of which was laundry, taking a back seat. So I was very happy to find a service that would take care of this task for me. I went with Wash Wizards based on the stellar reviews, the convenience of no-contact pick-up and drop-off, the free and clear detergent (aka scent-free), and the free cloth laundry bag that was supposed to come with the delivery of my first order that would then allow me to fill the bag with the items I wanted to have washed. I placed my order (bedding and bath rugs) on Friday for a Saturday pick-up. And since this was my first order, I placed my laundry in trash bags outside my front door. I just put everything in the bags. The order was picked up before noon and delivered today (Monday) before noon as well. Now, according to the website "Everything comes back to you folded and packaged in a cloth laundry bag that is provided free of charge." However, mine did not. Instead, everything came packaged in one large clear plastic bag that was knotted so tight that I had to use scissors to get the laundry out. In terms of quality of services, they did a great job folding the sheets, but there was a definite scent on the laundry. Also, I can only suppose that they washed everything (rather than separating by colors) in hot water because my pale pink sheets and floral sheets looked duller, and my slate blue sheets had clearly faded. Again, having not used a laundry service before, if I needed to separate the washing into separate bags, that would have been helpful to have included in the FAQ. And I guess I have been so used to washing in cold water that I didn't think of adding that to my order - so I'll take the blame for that - but perhaps updating the website order page to include that as an option to select, because when you are busy with other things that you need a laundry service, adding notes to your laundry is the last thing on your mind. Finally, the lack of a laundry bag bugged me, especially since the website specifically promised one as coming with the first order.

Upon visiting, the second laundromat I walked in, immediately was hit by a strong foul odor, looked at the outdated equipment, and walked right out. I decided to postpone my laundry visit for the next day. SO HAPPY I DID! The next day, I decided to return to Central Coast Laundry and they were back up and running. I had not used a laundromat for a long time so things have gone hi-tech. I downloaded the Speed Queen app. Then to ensure I was doing everything right, I requested the assistance of the gentleman seated in the Fluff and Fold Room. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name but he was very patient and kind in guiding me through the process with ease. I washed and dried my laundry in no time. The laundromat was clean/tidy/organized and I would recommend it to anyone. I am happy to have discovered this gem and definitely will be returning to this location to fulfill my laundry needs.

For about $35, and in about 18 hours, we had our laundry back, folded, grouped by type, and for all of our shirts, on hangars in a flimsy plastic bag that you'd typically get your dry cleaning in. I hadn't been to a laundromat in almost 20 years, the last time was when I was in my early 20's (I'll be 42 in July), and I live in Salt Lake City, UT, and was going to "college". I did a quick google search for "laundromats near me with free WiFi" and Tower Square Coin-Op Laundry was the closest to me, 3.5 miles away, or about 10 minutes, well worth the short trip. I am glad I went, I got my laundry done right, was able to actually get my clothes cleaned properly and when I dried them, I didn't take home a mixture of everyone else's lint and hair and goodness knows what else! (shudder) I met three employees at Tower Laundry, Cindy, Anna and Rita, all very friendly and helpful, I met Cindy on my first visit a couple of days ago and she showed me how to work the machines, how much soap, etc, and also on that day on my way out I met Anna, and then when I came back to finish up the rest of the laundry a couple of days later I met Rita, such cool people!! Thank You Tower Laundry, I'll be coming back here for sure to do my laundry since I guarantee there won't be any new or cheaper washers or dryers at my place anytime soon, and I actually enjoy doing laundry at your place! And instead of the owner apologizing for their employees being rude when someone walks in past 9:30pm is really baffling to me. Of course they take to the reviews to argue with the customers who didn't have an enjoyable experience there. Every review that they can argue with at least. But yet still can't update any time.
