A local recommendation from our walking tour guide today. We arrived and sat outside and the service was prompt. We immediately got still water and Italian bread. I ordered the ravioli with regular tomato sauce, and it was delicious. Fresh, delicious ricotta center, and the serving size was plentiful (about 8-10 decent sized ravioli). My exchange daughter ordered and enjoyed the spaghetti with tomato sauce, and my husband ordered the clams with linguine and enjoyed the taste. They were small clams but many of them on the plate. Overall the portion sizes were exactly what we needed to fill us up (not overdone), and the service was jovial and kind and fun. We also ordered tiramisu, the lemon sorbet, and a mixed drink. The tiramisu has gorgeous-shaven chocolate strips on top. The mixed drink was definitely alcoholic! And my husband really liked the freshness of the sorbet. We stayed a while chatting and the staff continued kindness. The staff speaks a little English, some more than others, but they seem helpful to one another with tourists. This was a genuinely good restaurant from start to finish. read more
