Found this spot online after wanting some pizza while we were near the tower of Pisa. It was a pretty small and surprisingly not too crowded when we arrived, and were able to get seated immediately. Between the three of us we shared two pizzas - the margherita, and the proscuitto e funghi. Both were delicious, but I tend to like more toppings on my pizzas so I enjoyed the proscuitto e funghi one more. The crust was really light and chewy, but also thin enough to hold all the sauce and toppings. They were also quite giant! We also tried the limoncello spritz, but that wasn't our favorite. Found this pizza place after visiting the leaning tower of Pisa. Very friendly business run by only two people at the time of arrival. We ended up trying the two pizza listed as "popular/suggested". These are my thoughts. Rivistato - What a unique pizza. There is a lot going on and it's folded in half. I thought it was good but they put in this veggie that was bitter which was a tad offsetting for my taste. It's unique, I prob wouldn't get it again but it was different! (3.5/5) Margherita Al Contrario - Went for a simple classic and this was delicious. It's different than the pizza in America and overall enjoyed it. (4.5/5) Overall an enjoyable spot for pizza. Note... the pizza are pretty big and we got two pizza for two people. Tons of leftover for us. We ended up spending 35 euro for two pizza. They gave us a small discount for paying in cash! read more

Lovely place and lovely service we received from the waiter. I wasn't too hungry, so my bf only ordered a pizza for us to share. The waiter split the pizza for us before the plates arrived at our table. Super fresh pizza and thank god not so salty and oily! Plenty of dinning area and we sat outside. read more

Went here for a late lunch so only got one pizza and it was amazing. So fresh and the crust was light fluffy with a nice crunch. Not to mention the cheese and meat both were perfect. We ordered a margarita to taste. Servers were friendly and pizza came out quickly. The dough was light and airy. The hot, green sauce on the side, was loved by one in our party who likes spicy things. They do charge coperto so expect to pay 2€ per person. Their pizzas are excellent. We ordered the vegetariana with thinly sliced peppers, eggplant, zucchini and olives. The Regina had fresh mozzarella and basil. I think both pizzas could have used a dash of salt. Otherwise, both were cooked well. There is a nice selection of wines. Just a heads up, they only serve pizzas and gelato. Friendly owner who loves what he does, or at least appears to. He takes serious offense to other people that make pizza in the area you claims his is the best. I had the calzone which is unusual for me, but after five days in Italy, regular pizza, I've had enough. My wife got the Barata with spicy salami and it was delicious. The calzone needed some sauce but they brought me some which helped a very good calzone taste even better. Great beer selection, and served ice cold which I haven't found yet anywhere else in Italy. Pisa has many restaurants, many of them self proclaimed tourist traps with signs that say so. Give this place a try if you're in the mood for pizza. I highly recommend taking the two minute walk from the tower. read more
