Paid $15 a ticket to attend their tasting event on Saturday. HUGE MISTAKE! We were very disappointed with the awful service we got from the Wine server. Which is too bad because the music was excellent. The food was good. The wine we did eventually get to taste was okay, but there was nothing special that we felt we had to have. But, had the server not been so rude and slow we would probably give a higher rating and might have actually bought some wine. But she was so horrible we just got up and left before it was over. The really bizarre thing was she knew how horrid she was to us because she said she was sorry at least 5 times! Keep in mind we were there for almost 2 hours and were only able to get 5 tastes out of the 12 that we paid for. In fact at one point after my husband kept waving at her she came over and admitted she had forgotten about us! But that did not improve her service in fact she was even worse after that. She made it clear by her actions and rudeness that she was just not interested in serving us and instead spent most of her time socializing with customers she already knew. The final straw was when she gave us the dregs from the bottom of a bottle that was not drinkable. When we asked for new glasses she just did a quick rinse and gave us back the same glasses with sediment still in the bottom! Totally LAME! read more

I have been enjoying Vinera wines, formally known as Schlossadler Wines for over 30 years. I do not drink any other wine unless it is provided by friends. I have done wine tastings in Alaska for 20 years and California before that, these tastings are fun and educational. If you get the opportunity to have a tasting, d it, you won't regret it. This is a great company with amazing wine consultants. Attended the event and was truly impressed by the women who not only taught me about wine but worked their butts off serving everyone who attended. Don't know who this Lisa is but she obviously did not attend the same event. Perhaps the wine went to her head and prevented her from realizing the wine consultants are not waitresses or personal servants. Again I find myself keeping thoughtless, arrogant individuals in my prayers. A huge thank you to all the wine consultants. You are wonderful women who work for a great company. A company that not only impresses us with a special wine selection but also a company with a generous heart for reaching out to the ones in need. After our guests settled down from their amazement at the gold infused sparkling wine, they couldn't stop talking about how good it was. We first tried the wines at the Barrett Jackson show in 2006 and loved everything we tried. Since then, we have had several tasting parties with our friends at our resort and they are amazed at the quality and flavor of these excellent wines as well as the vast variety offerred. Suzanne is most knowledgeable and uses her humor and amazing descriptions to make the experience much more enjoyable than anyone ever expected. Loved the Malbec and ordered several cases of the Champagne with Gold flecs in it ...huge hit for the holiday parties and a wonderful taste to boot. By far, this is the best wine I have ever had. I lived in Germany for 8 years and when I drink this wine, it is like being back there again. I've been enjoying Schlosadler Wines for over 3 years. The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is amazing. Markey and Stella is a fun enjoyable wine. Huxelriebe Siegreibe is lite and goes with anything. On top of great wines the fun at the tastings makes everything that much better. Their wine consultants actually listen to what you say and match your tastes to their great selections.
