What a great hidden gem. It's a bit aged with signs of wear and tear and age but Carissa is super friendly and accommodating. Not only did we get a great upgrade but anything we needed was quickly accommodated with a smile. The hospitality was top notch. Continental breakfast had make your own waffles, yogurts, juice, cereals, banana bread and coffee and tea and oatmeal. We had a double room with king bed and jacuzzi in the second room with some recliners and a fridge. Room was clean and sheets were spotless. Easy access from the street and plenty of parking. Locks are still using regular keys. There is a neat fire pit with chairs and grills you can use. Great area for relaxing during a sunset or sunrise. Great rates and conveniently located near plenty of wineries and restaurants and the Glenn Curtiss museum. Would recommend staying here and let Carissa make you feel at home!

What a pleasant surprise this charming motel is. Unspectacular from the outside, the interior opens up a whole new experience. Period decor, complete with a turntable and albums from the 50's, add so much to this newly renovated rooms. Amenities such as a gift bag containing ear plugs, a sleep mask and aspirin, place this motel over the top. We highly recommend Vinehurst and will definitely revisit it when we are in the area.

the thoughtful gift Vinehurst had assembled for race participants.

When in town, we will absolutely stay at the Vinehurst Inn & Suites. We'd booked a room at a different chain and called this one, out of desperation. Carissa answered the call with warm, friendly professionalism. The 3 of us were greeted with the same hospitality and given keys to the Family Suite. Full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living space, fold-up double bed and a backyard. Everything was clean, stocked and meticulously cared for. We were in town for a foot race. Carissa got up, the following morning, to have coffee and breakfast hot and ready by 3:00 am! Checkout was a breeze, with no surprise nor erroneous charges. We were so pleased and grateful to have found this hidden gem.

I was really impressed by this BW Hotel. Holly checked us in and it was a breeze. Bri checked us…read moreout, and it too was nice and easy. The front desk staff were all really cordial and professional. My room was a nice size. It had a large king size bed, two end tables, a chair and ottoman, desk and rollout chair, FREE WIFI, microwave, refrigerator and a TV. Half of the main bedroom had a changing area with a sink, some mini toiletries, hair dryer, and a coffee pot. In the closet was an Iron and ironing board. Right off this area was the bathroom with a full shower and toilet. My room was very clean and very organized. The decor was simple and modern. It was a very comfortable room. Every morning this hotel offered a FREE full breakfast, which was self serve. They offered regular and decaf coffee and you could pick your strength. They had a refrigerator with hard boiled eggs and yogurt. They had cereal and fresh fruit. There was also a bread area with bagels and all kinds of bread and rolls and a toaster. Next to this station was scrambled eggs, bacon, roasted red potatoes. As you move down the line there was a waffle maker and you could pick your batter plain or blueberry, down from there was the milk and juice. Again, this area was kept extremely clean and I have to say Melanie and Beth were on top of everything . The minute someone needed anything or if the food needed to be replenished they immediately did it. The tables were always wiped down and kept clean and these ladies always did it with a smile. They were super friendly. Off of the main lobby on one side was a sitting area with a fireplace. On the other side was some chairs with a tv for hanging out. At the other end was a sofa and chairs for relaxing. This BW Hotel has an indoor pool and gym. If you need to do some laundry they have washers and dryers. Outside are two fire pits and Adirondack chairs. They even have one charging station for cars. Next door is a brewery. Your 5 minutes down the road from The Curtiss Museum. This is definitely not your typical Best Western Hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We have stayed at other Microtels in the past and our golden retriever has always loved lying on the window seat so I was thrilled to see that this room had one as well. I really appreciate being able to open the windows instead of using the air conditioning. We appreciated the toiletries in the shower and bathroom. The staff was very nice (except for 1 little incident with the man who checked us in, he told me that my card hadn't gone through and argued with me when I told him that I had proof on my bank statement. Clearly he was wrong because he handed me the keys anyways). The breakfast options were very nice, hubby really enjoyed the french toast and Ilike the egg and sausage croissant and we even gave our pup one of the omelets. There truly were so many great options offered and the breakfast area was always neat and clean and well stocked. I love that there was an area for us to take our pup to use the bathroom and also that there were so many restaurant options all around us that we could even walk to. Our room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the extra blanket in the closet. Microtel has become our very favorite place to stay and we are already looking forward to returning in the fall. Highly recommend this place.

But the conversation was confusing as he asked if we " had a dog in the room"? Wanting to know how this could happen? My boyfriend decided to go down to the desk to talk to the manager who dismissed the incident as "human error". He apologized but did not take responsibility for the "room invasion" even though it was the desk who gave out the additional key to our room.!!! We liked the rooms and they were nice and clean. We had hot breakfast of french toast and fresh fruit. The second visit was this year with my in-laws as well as our adult son. Catherine is the owner and she is very sweet and will help you with whatever you need. We were there over a very busy weekend so they had a buffet for breakfast. It was fine for me and my husband but my in-laws were expecting a quiche or French toast casserole maybe. We had a wonderful time. We also organized through Catherine a wine tour where we were all driven around to 6 or 7 wineries/breweries for tastings and stopped at one for lunch too. We enjoyed it very much. We would definitely go back. We walked into Hammondsport for dinner at Timberwoods( i think that's the name)and it was great. Great steaks as well as other options and service.
