To say this place is amazing would be an understatement! I haven't had 1 thing I didn't like. I have no complaints. Ok, I lied. I always wish there was more sauce on everything lol. I am so grateful for this place and everything they do for not only for the customers but for the rest of the community as well. They used to do work with animal adoptions but haven't seen too much of that recently. Hope they get back into that! The food is delicious and the smoothies, that I've tried, are delish as well. This was my first visit to Vine Vegan. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant design is cute and very clean. Now for the food : I ordered the Cuban with a side of chips. Overall the Cuban was decent but I craved buttery pressed bread; this Cuban was lacking that and the bread seemed dry. I'm very happy to see a vegan restaurant in the Brandon area! I ordered the Caribbean bowl (4/5) and was very impressed by the taste of the vegan pork; I could not even tell that it was fake meat, it had great texture and flavor! The restaurant itself is very trendy with good Insta shots and plenty of tables so you won't have to worry about getting a table. My only thing of note is the entrance/line to order could use some more menus as the main menu behind the cashier is not visible while you are in the line; make sure you take a good look at the menu before you get in line if it's busy! read more

The place is an absolute disaster and the service atrocious. I ordered online and then went to pick it up. I walked in and stood at the counter for a good 5 minutes with 4 employees standing there. I had to say something before anyone acknowledged me. They told me my order would be ready in 10 minutes so I went and waited in my car. I came back in 15 and again no one would acknowledge me so I asked again. I'm assuming this was the manager who said we haven't started on your order. "We don't prioritize online orders and only prioritize customers eating here." I asked for a refund and when she credited it back to my card it was about $10 short. I told her the amount was wrong and she said "I can't refund tax or tip. You'll have to call or come back tomorrow to get the rest". Meanwhile the restaurant was in complete chaos with about 15 people waiting. Those who were actually getting their orders the orders were wrong, some woman was yelling out the kitchen window at the top of her lungs into the dining to be patient, and then something was burning in the back causing the restaurant to become smokey. Thank goodness I put my order on my credit card because I just disputed the charge to get my money back. I left without food, without a full refund and will never be back. I told everyone walking in to turn around and go somewhere else and I ended up ordering pizza for dinner. read more

I dropped in because I happen to be headed to the painting studio two doors down, Pinots Palette. I'm not a vegan, but I am interested in places that have outdoor seating because I only eat outdoors. There are a couple of tables, which is really all I have room for. But when I went in it was a lovely atmosphere, the staff member who served me was really very friendly and brought my food out to me promptly. The food was great, warm quinoa with avocado that is perfectly ripe, not hard and not mushy. There was a good portion of food and I didn't miss the meat, the protein that I have to presume is tofu tastes amazing. I was very excited to learn that Brandon had the hottest new vegan spot in all of Tampa Bay. I couldn't wait to try it and share it with all my food loving followers! I sat down and shared a meal with Danielle where I learned about her passion for cooking, serving and sharing high quality vegan creations with her community. I was very excited about the Avocado Toast made with Cuban bread, avocado, housemade vegan parmesan sprinkle, & balsamic glaze- this was a winner - I'm a huge avocado & balsamic fan! I was even more excited to try the Mediterranean Bowl (GF) with kale tossed in a lemon dressing, roasted sweet potatoes, chickpeas, broccoli, sun dried tomatoes, kalamata olives , hummus lemon drizzle , topped with pepitas (pumpkin seeds), it was hearty and fresh, full of nutritious greens that were extremely satisfying! The lil breakfast sandwich was on what I thought was potato roll and the bottom bun was a bit dense and stale but the aioli was so flavorful that it made up for any fault. I had the café con Leche, and it was very creamy, coconut flavored and cinnamon spiced. The wrap was packed with ingredients, especially potatoes which I didn't mind. It was a large wrap and was a lot of food considering I wanted to try the Mac n cheese. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with a few sides and a smoothie, and was amazed at the taste; It did not taste any different from what I order at buffalo wild wings. While, like all small businesses, it was slightly more money than fast food(like a dollar or two more than other places), the experience was definitely worth it and delicious. I really enjoyed the Yelp event at Vine Vegan, right in town, as part of the Best Places to Eat in Tampa Bay. The service and attention was great! Yelpers did not have to wait long for their delicious offerings, (full size portions). I liked everything served; from the salad to the amazing signature sandwich, the Impossible Smash Patty Melt. It replicated the taste and texture of a real "cheese burger." I do not know how they do it but it was amazing! We eat vegan occasionally since our kids have chosen this eating style for quite some time. This place truly exceeded my expectations! I am elated to finally have a vegan restaurant in the area! It is a nice space - in the fast-casual tradition rather than fine dining - with plenty of seating and what looks to be a booming take-out business. The menu is full of options that even meat eaters will appreciate - they rely heavily on meat substitutes like Impossible Meats and similar - but that being said, everything is truly delicious and a little decadent. Like the loaded tots. YUM. You wouldn't want to eat there every day because the fat and calories are probably off the charts, but for a treat, and if you are also trying to feed someone that is not a vegan, go here -- everyone will be thrilled.
