This is hands down the best restaurant in Red River! My group and I tried pretty much every restaurant located in Downtown Red River (albeit not that many in the area). Service: The restaurant was struggling a bit with a busy evening, but they did not miss a beat when it came to service! They informed our group of 8 that things were going to take a bit longer, which was fine by us! They came by to check in on the group to make sure our drinks were flowing! I appreciated that the owners took the time to introduce themselves to every table, and even helped out bussing and delivering dishes when their servers were busy! The owners were so friendly and very passionate about the restaurant. You can tell by the quality of the dishes here. Food: The food was absolutely spectacular! I did not expect much coming here, but my mind was blown away! Each and every person in our group raved about the dish they ordered so I don't think you can go wrong with any of the dishes on the menu! For starters, we ordered the Brussels sprouts, and meatballs to share. For those in the group that were veggies-adverse, the Brussels sprouts were still a hit! The meatballs were so juicy, and flavorful. I'd order both dishes again. I ordered the smoked chicken quarter. The chicken was so tender and seasoned impeccably. The sweet potato puree was the star for me. My husband kept stealing some of the sweet potato puree from my plate! It was so good! I stole some of my husband's order of the meatloaf. It tasted so good...you cannot go wrong with that one either! Some of our group even went back here the next day to try their brunch menu!

Best restaurant in Red River, and it's not really close. Trust me, we tried nearly every single one this year. If I lived here, I'd be at this restaurant at least weekly. Everything we ordered was amazing. Brussels, meatballs, meatloaf ("streetloaf")... all so good. The owner came out and spoke to us as well - him and his wife were very pleasant. Some from our group even came back here the next day, because it was so good. They have special events on certain nights (live music, game night, etc) so check those out too, but even with no special event, this place is worth frequenting. Go now!

One of the best restaurants downtown if not the best. It kind of took us all by surprise being in a small town like this. The food and drinks were both excellent. They have daily and brunch specials. Amazing every single time. Every plate has amazing flavor and is cooked to perfection! We come here every time we are in town!! The beef short ribs are unmatched!!! By far our favorite restaurant in town.

In fact, this is one of the best espresso martinis I've had. The owner and his wife are lovely people who stopped by the table and chatted with us for a little. I loved hearing their story of opening their business. Loved Vine. Sat on the deck in the rear and it was a little warm at 5:30 in the Summer, but there are umbrellas. Love the atmosphere and hear that is going to be even better with live music. We had the queso birria tacos and the street loaf. Both were delicious. The street loaf came with a small house salad which was mixed greens with roasted cherry tomatoes and Parmesan flakes topped with a raspberry vinaigrette. It also was accompanied with a Mac n cheese and some smashed small potatoes. It was a great paring. The tacos were spicy, but full of flavor and come with a roasted corn with green chile and roasted tomatoes. All of it was excellent. They have a very nice wine list and beer selection as well as some signature drinks. We had a pink vodka lemon drop and a German Pilsner. The service was great. Our server was new, but very sweet and the owners were part of the service. It was quick and the prices are reasonable. The menu is small but well done. This is another of the excellent restaurants in Red River and this is our first time here. read more

We tried to eat here 3 times this summer and were never in town at the right time. Today was our day! There was a wait but it was worth it. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the Senior Breakfast. Both were great and I have a crab cake for later. Highly recommend eating here. read more

Entire experience from surrounding, service and food far exceeded my expectations. I only regret that I didn't get the trout which i passed on due to its being the whole fish. Turn out they have found away to remove most of the bones. read more

The food is amazing! The eggs Benedict is very different than what I had ever had (served with tomatoes, french fries and brussels) but simply delicious. The chicken salad sandwich was very tasty and fries are great! Very clean with great service. If you are a bourbon drinker, they have a great selection. Worth the 5 stars! read more

The owner and all the wait staff were very friendly and helpful! We had a great time trying different wines and beers. I visited VINE for brunch with my family and had rather low expectations being a snobbish New Yorker and avid cook myself... I incorrectly thought I was in for a mediocre meal, but VINE produced the single BEST brunch of my life!! I really hope the chef opens a restaurant in Manhattan next! I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was a piece of art and a symphony of tastes. The chef walked by and noticed the initial poached egg was less-than-runny , so immediately brought out an extra one. My kids loved the no-glaze version of the homemade donuts (as did we). Overall, VINE is just a fantastic gem of a restaurant with the kindest staff. Thank you all so much!! read more

Such a great light and yummy option! It's a simple menu with 4-5 sandwich options, soup, and salad. We each got something different and enjoyed each one. Wonderful atmosphere, service, and reasonable wait time. Super super happy to have this as one of the few food options in Red River with lighter options and a more gourmet approach to simple dishes. I really wanted to eat here since I live here. But after walking around for 10 minutes unable to find the restaurant I got very frustrated. There is no sign on the street and no signage on the building even indicating that the restaurant is there. Once I found it and started up the stairs, i was greeted with 5 warning signs prohibiting open carry and concealed carry. Unfortunately I can't support an anti 2nd amendment business. Now, that I got the details in from the place, I ended up ordering an iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk (and it is one size which is 16 oz). I would say it was decently good, but maybe I could've asked for less ice, because it wasn't sweet to me compared to my family members Mexican mocha and caramel macchiato (which they asked for regular milk but what can I say I love oat milk). So for those who are sweet tooth ask for less ice! Overall I really enjoyed the taste, it tasted different.. almost chai like compared to your standard ice pumpkin spice, but I personally liked it that way. My family did enjoy their drinks and rated it a good 7/10! If I were to come to Red River again, I would definitely return to the shop for a Mexican mocha :)

While most restaurants had an hour-long wait, we were pleasantly surprised to find a 30-minute wait here, which made our decision easy. The ambiance is charming, exuding a cozy cabin vibe complemented by delightful country music. The menu is impressively creative, offering a range of unique options. I opted for the Hummingbird Latte, and it was nothing short of delicious. For my main course, I indulged in the Eggs Benedict with Crab Cakes--an exquisite combination that features an English muffin topped with a savory ham steak, perfectly poached eggs, and a luscious honey hollandaise sauce, all served on a bed of home fries, Brussels sprouts, and roasted cherry tomatoes drizzled with raspberry vinaigrette and garnished with fresh greens. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vine in Red River, NM, and it was such a great experience! This locally owned spot is definitely a gem. The highlight for me was the chile relleno--it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and just the right kick of spice. I can't stop thinking about it! What really made our visit special was the friendly service. Even though the place was packed for breakfast, the staff was super attentive and welcoming. The restaurant that was originally T-Bucks is now the Vine + Dine and is so good!! We shared the 8750 (I chopped up the eggs already) but it was AMAZING!!
