(Yes, I live on the west coast now, but my spouse and I still belong to their practice exclusively because we are really attached to our dentists!) The dentists and their staff are caring, personable, knowledgeable, and gentle. Over the years, I've had some fillings done, and it has been with kind hands every time. I look for high technical competency, as well as excellent bedside manner in my healthcare providers, and the Wohl Family Practice team fits my needs, and then some. I've visited many dentists in my life, and many dental specialists. These dentists are the best I've ever had. It's a real gift to my family and to the community that the Wohl team is in the world, and I would believe this even if juggling weren't a prerequisite for all their on-staff dentists. But the juggling doesn't hurt.

Dr. Josh Kleederman has a…read morebeautiful office and professional staff, but more importantly, he has state-of-the-art-equipment and is an expert with cosmetic dentistry. To some degree, all dental work is cosmetic. Specifically, if you need fillings, crown and bridge work, implants, veneers this is the place you want to be. I got a crown done by him about 20 years ago and it is still fabulous today. I know a lot of people who have had work done here and they are very happy with it. I used to work in the dental field and have expertise in this area. Trust me, he is the best restorative dentist in the Berkshire area and it's worth the trip to see him. The only complaint that one might have is that he is more expensive than the others (but he has more education in the area of restorative dentistry than a general dentist) and he can be a little "intense" and aggressive with your teeth, but he is constantly gauging how you are doing and gets the job done well and quickly. My husband is about to get his 4th crown and has one implant and it is has been a great experience. In his words, "He's very good and I've had no problems." One more thing - if you are having any cosmetic dentistry done this is the guy to go to. If you need a crown or filling in a front tooth, no one will be able to tell that it isn't your own tooth. He is a perfectionist with size, shape and color matching. I know a man who was referred to josh for complete crowning on his top teeth from canine to canine and he decided to go to his "regular dentist" who was less expensive. This person was in tears when the work was finished, because he looked like he had white "Chicklets" for teeth. They were unnaturally white and much too large for his mouth. I know someone who paid thousands of dollars for a bridge on his molars and needed it extracted a couple of years later, because it didn't fit properly and it decayed underneath. Don't let that happen to you! Invest in yourself and have no regrets.

The entire staff of his office, and the other practitioners to whom I was referred by him, are highly professional, talented, and kind people. Afterward, I developed tooth sensitivity, lingering toothaches, and what I perceived as changes in my lower face and lips -- including sagging, a sunken appearance, and an aged look. From my perspective, these issues only began after the bite adjustment, and the treatment options I've been offered have been complex, costly, and not reassuring. I deeply regret these decisions and strongly urge others to seek multiple opinions before agreeing to any similar treatments. This review is based solely on my personal experience and perspective as a patient.

I had a very complex case with lots of work to be done, to restore my smile. My teeth were frail, brittle and broken. He made a plan and we worked as a team to restore my smile and my confidence. Dr . Mariano asked fir old pictures to make my smile natural since I needed so many implants. What I realized was for the 5 years previous that I had not smiled in photos! I had to go back to old pictures and I could see how over the years I had lost my smile and self confidence. Dr. Mariano recognized this so when he made a second appliance that i believe to have been less expensive he didn't charge me for it, but it too was as equally ineffective and inappropriate for addressing my problem. He was insensitive to my anxiety disorder, he made offensive remarks undermining the legitimacy of my disease and left me feeling foolish and insulted. No dentist or oral surgeon was able to help. In addition to being kind, caring and compassionate, Dr Van Dongen, who is a highly specialized prosthodontist gave us a lot of time and painstakingly took the dentures and was able to adjust and whatever had to be done to make them fit.
