Amazing place. Magical. I was greeted by a regional or national director (don't remember because service was so good) Russell. He and Emm, the store manager helped me re-vamp my entire wardrobe, kept me up to date on both current sales/deals as to not make it too weird ! I got great tips from Russell on what fit and what colors matched. So more confidence! That's an experience. Thanks Vince SF!!!! read more

I bought two Vince short-sleeve sweaters for over $300 each and followed the care instructions exactly, including hand washing cold. Both sweaters shrank after washing and never returned to their original fit or shape. For a brand positioned at this price level, that is unacceptable. If a garment cannot withstand the brand's own recommended care instructions, then either the quality is poor or the care guidance is misleading. I contacted customer service, sent photos, and provided proof of purchase. Their reply was quick, but they refused to offer any resolution because too much time had passed since the purchase. That told me everything I needed to know about how Vince stands behind its products. The cost of making this right for two shirts would have been small. Instead, they lost me as a lifetime customer. I will not buy Vince again. read more

I never leave reviews but feel like I need to leave one. The rudest employee ever works here. I bought a $500 sweater online and was there to pick up and she managed to make our 2 minute interaction AWFUL. Unbelievably mean. read more

They couldn't wait to get me out of the store. What a difference with the service I got in New York. read more

Horrendous fabric quality, not worth the price even at 70% off. Some good designs, but you can find them elsewhere at better quality for sure. Will be skipping this brand from now on after recent purchases have proven to be absolute crap quality and the brand has terrible customer service. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Staff (Emm) is super rude and lied to customers in the face about return policy like a few other posts mentioned. When they were asked to provide company policy to back up their no return statements, they tell more lies. read more

Do not shop here under any circumstances. The staff is rude, condescending and does not honor their policies regarding returns. Shockingly bad customer service! read more

Design is pretty ok, quality varies from ok to horrible. Fabric quality and shrinkage are problematic. not worth the price.

My experience at this store on 10/27/23 was so disagreeable that I am leaving a public review so others don't waste their time with this store. This review specifically concerns the store manager, Emily, and her assistant, who are two of the most unpleasant salespeople I have ever interacted with. I received a Vince item on 10/26 and visited the store the next day to return it due to sizing issues. The assistant and then Emily, proceeded to give me the runaround on how the dress was purchased on sale and thus, it was a final sale item and not returnable. Nowhere on the website or in my emails was there any note of the item being final sale and non-returnable. Emily interrupted me to emphasize that she's worked at Vince for 10 years and has never taken back a sale item. During the entire exchange, both Emily and her assistant were downright rude and aggressive. When Emily realized I wouldn't meekly concede and I would take it up with corporate, she later called me and said she spoke with her colleague Rebecca and was willing to take back the item for store credit only. I reached out to Vince corporate asking for clarification, and they then informed me that I was indeed able to return the item for a full refund. Everything that Emily told me in store was incorrect. At best, she is confused about Vince's policies (despite working there for 10 years), and at worst, she is actively misleading customers. My negative experience with this store does not seem to be an isolated one, based on similar previous complaints on here and Google. I will not be visiting Vince SF again. read more

I can't get enough of this store! They apparently just re-modeled and it's beautiful. Feels homey and casual chic. Stumbled upon a beautiful leather jacket that I just couldn't pass up. Didn't know what I was looking for but Emm and Bianka were super helpful. Will be back, would buy everything in this store if I could! read more

Vince - Remodel! - Men's Clothing Near Me - San Francisco, California

I love Vince and have had great experiences shopping online and in the Palo Alto store, but this SF store just sucks. The store manager and assistant manager are so rude and awful. If you have an online return (hey, it happens, that's part of shopping online!), the attitude switches on and it makes me re-think shopping with Vince, period. The last time I visited this store, which was a year ago, the assistant store manager was a total b and accused me of wearing the item I wanted to return (after she confirmed the item was shipped from an outlet store, where items tend to get manhandled). Do better Vince, otherwise you lose customers who would prefer to not shop online so they can avoid the a-holes in the SF store. read more

We received such incredible service from the Vince store from the moment we walked in. The manager, Em, was beyond friendly and entertained our toddler with stickers while my husband and I shopped. She went out of her way to help us locate a jacket we wanted for my husband and made sure we got the best deal on it. Overall it was such a wonderful experience it reminded me why online shopping just doesn't compare to the personal touch of in-store shopping. We will be back to the store for all of our Vince from here on out! read more

Full disclosure this review is directed specifically at the store manager Pam and her protege Bianca, and is not at all a reflection of how I feel about Vince clothes or accessories (which are of course chic and fabulous!) I am sorry to say I had a VERY unpleasant experience at the Geary street location this afternoon when I attempted to exchange a pair of shoes. I bought these shoes for my sister at Christmas. Unfortunately I did not account for the fact that my sister is massively pregnant with swollen feet. ..Long story short I simply needed to exchange the exact same shoes for 1/2 size up. Easy, right? Wrong! I get it it's Covid right after the holiday and I completely understand if people are a bit on edge.... Pam however took the attitude to a whole new level. Rude doesn't even begin to describe Pam. Pam treated me like a disgusting sale shopping common criminal. She gave me SUCH a hard time to make the exchange and acted as if it were somehow my fault that the item was on sale. I ended up calling the other location that I purchased the shoes from and having them talk to Pam. 45 minutes later Pam took my exchange and charged my Amex 30 cents for the exchange which was HILARIOUS! Normally speaking I would be happy to spend 45 minutes in Vince and would browse and probably leave with full shopping bags. I did not do that today because Pam and her associate Bianca were so unpleasant. The worst! Never a "can I help you find anything?" Only a "do you have an appointment?!" and "why were these shoes on sale?!" Hello your store is empty with three people working there. I don't work for Vince- how would I know why these shoes are on sale at some Vince locations while Pam has them marked at full price. Please don't insinuate that I did something shady just because these shoes were on sale. All people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect; be it it the sales associate or the sale shopper. I hope Vince reads this and finds people to better represent their brand. read more

Em was SO helpful when I stopped in. Went out of her way to make a return easy. Thank you Em and the rest of the team!

There's no questioning the refined but modern simplicity of the Vince look. It's immediately hot, slightly European with a nod to California casualness. For women, their leather jackets are deliciously fitting, where even their leggings are coveted items. Um, this is merely an observation. For men, I've been so far impressed with their jeans and sweaters, basics, admittedly, but done well. The only thing that needs con-vincing, so to speak, is the price tag, but with the seasons coming and going, keep an eye on sales and you should do alright. The layout of the store is spacious yet enticing, but there's just enough chill to make you feel like you're in SoHo (something that's sorely missing in Union Square, I must say). read more

Vince - Men's Clothing Near Me - San Francisco, California

The manager at the Vince store was extremely helpful in exchanging a pair of boots that I had purchased in New York. Em was in contact with me regarding the availability of a new pair of boots, and, when that proved difficult, arranged another alternative. I can't thank Em enough for all of her efforts. I will continue to shop at the Vince Store on Geary. read more

I love Vince but more than that I love Em, who helped me with an exchange and then *personally delivered* an item to my home in the east bay as part of a new concierge service. Never have I felt like such a fancy lady. Thank you Em! I'll be back read more

Can't recommend this place enough -- I received the best customer service of my life here, they truly go above and beyond! Special shout-out to M who worked with me to ensure I got the right size in a sweater that was a Christmas present for my husband. He was in between sizes, and she made it so easy for him to try both on, compare sizes, proactively adjust my purchase price when it later went on sale, and make the return process super seamless. I never write on Yelp but I was seriously blown away and wanted to give credit where it is due. Thank you M and Vince SF! read more

Best Store ever. I live in Hawaii. When I want a gift or something for myself I just call Emily at Vince's, San Francisco . She is the very best. Never had a sales person who goes out of her way as she does. She always makes me feel like I am her favorite and only customer. My daughter and her family feel the same way. Thanks Emily for always stepping in there and finding the perfect items or gifts when I need them. read more

I browsed a few Vince pieces at a department store, but wasn't happy with the selection of styles or sizes so went to the Vince store. They had many options and the sales folks were super helpful while not being pushy. I found exactly what I needed and next time will skip the department store & go straight to the Vince store. read more

This Vince is absolutely one of my favorite places to shop at in San Francisco. The store isn't especially big but the layout is organized and very comfortable to the customer. The customer service here is fantastic. I was immediately attended to when I walked into the store and not only were they able to answer my questions, but also went above and beyond in recommending other pieces of clothing to me. They weren't selling me but helping me make the best fashion decisions possible. Not sure what the other reviews are referring to, but I have encountered Emily twice and Matt once and I have experienced the Vince standard that is expected. I was able to successfully return even the online store items at this particular store. To give more context, they have to mail the items back to corporate and that's just extra, unnecessary work for them. If you're looking for a place to rightfully spend your money, this would be top of my recommendation list! read more

Vince, why have you stolen my heart with your beautiful leather jackets? I have always admired leather jackets but I have never really found one that fit me quite like the one I found at Vince the other day. I went to Vince with my fashionable friend and I randomly tried on a leather scuba jacket (I didn't make up this name) that was going for a whopping $995. It was quite gorgeous and fit me really well. The leather was really soft too. What was funny was that the sales associate was wearing the same one so obviously she thought it was beautiful too. I still think that for better prices you can go to a department store like Nordstrom or Bloomingdales and find Vince, etc. but there's still nothing like going to the actual store and just admiring their lovingly curated racks. read more

Emily went above and beyond to help me find the perfect Bay-Area reverseable coat, plus it was on sale for 60% off! She tracked down the last one in my size in the entire Vince system. When she learned that we live in the same Oakland neighborhood, she even hand delivered it to my home. Amazing customer service and quality products. Highly recommended! read more

I was in San Francisco on August 5th visiting from Los Angeles and my friends told me about the Vince store in downtown. They know this is my brand and I have probably one of the massive men's collection from the brand. All the LA stores I went to knows me and they were all nice. However, true to the reviews here, the ladies were rude. They were both Filipinas. I know they were because I am Filipino myself. The one on the floor was semi-friendly. The one on the register, however was cold and unwelcoming. She did not smile at all even when I smiled at her. You work in a shop. What's your deal?? That's all. read more

The SF Vince staff are always so helpful and accommodating when I come in. It really feels like a personal shopping experience. Love Vince! read more

I meant to write this review a long time ago, but the store manager here is awful, especially if she perceives you to be a low value sales shopper. In addition the beautiful cashmere sweater I purchased has pilled terribly; it's the worse amongst all my cashmere, even my "downmarket" brands. Simply not worth the hype or expense. read more

The most beautiful Vince store I have ever been to. I regularly go in and always ask for Emm. She is extremely helpful, personable and has a charismatic and contagious personality. She will go out of her way and to the end of the earth to get you what you need. I have gone in multiple times where she is assisting multiple clients and I have never once not been taken care of and felt like the only one in the store. I always have the most incredible experience and always leave with a smile and usually with a beautiful addition to my closet. The store is always so well kept organized and it was recently remodeled and looks stunning. If you are looking for a gift or shopping for yourself, I would absolutely recommend stopping in as you will, without a doubt, be more than taken care of! read more

A really great shopping experience. Emm has been absolutely amazing to work with and provides a very high level of customer service. She quickly helped me resolve a situation from a previous purchase on vince.com and also put together a really great wardrobe for me. I am a loyal, repeat Vince customer and Emm has by far been the best person I've ever worked with at Vince. Highly recommend. read more

I received the best customer service here. Highly recommend Vince SF. Only a person per appointment allowed in the store, which makes me feel that they are prioritizing safety in this pandemic. The staff are so nice and helpful. Especially Emily, who worked with me, ordered two brand-new sweaters for me to try both sizes on and directly shipped them to me so that I did not have to go back to the store. Though I have other Vince stores near me, I would definitely drive 30mins more and be assisted by Emily. read more

I was very upset I had forgotten to return a Vince sweater I had ordered online within their 30 day limit. I called Vince customer service and they said they were unable to make an exception to their return policy. I had previously been to Vince on Geary St and had found Emm Kung to be very helpful when purchasing some clothes there so I decided to go in and see if she could help me. Emm was amazing! She not only allowed me to exchange the sweater but also gave me some additional Black Friday discounts I had missed when shopping on line! left with a new sweater and a coat! I have consistently found Emm and the entire staff at Vince to be friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable in their recommendations. They are also willing to say when they don't like an item I am trying on which I particularly appreciate! I highly recommend the Vince store and the manager, Emm Kung!! read more

My fiancé and I do all of our shopping downtown, and this Vince store is always our favorite stop. Bianka and Emm are exceptional at what they do - they are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to get to know us, they offer their attuned style advice with honesty, and provide excellent customer service all around. We've never had such a positive retail experience in all of our years and always look forward to going back to see them. The store itself is beautiful and such a pleasant place to shop. The store manager is the least pleasant person I have encountered in a long time. I'm not sure what drew her to retail, as she lacks personal skills and any sense of customer service. I went in yesterday afternoon to purchase a birthday present for a friend and asked if it was possible to put it in a gift box, as I was watching the her put together a nicely wrapped box for another customer. Her response was simply, "not for a sale item." To disregard and shame someone for purchasing sale items is appalling. Also worth noting- the two men working at the time I was there were very nice and helpful. read more

The Vince store in San Franciso just opened up last week and it makes me oh-so happy! I'm a huge fan of Vince and it's really hard to find in boutiques. The store is stylish, modern, and sleek. It's also full of light and it is spacious. You can find a lot of leather jackets, tops, sweaters, and leggings. There's a lot of the basic and non basic styles too. The clothes here are definitely expensive but worth it for the quality. read more

Quite rude. No help. Very short answers. Thanks for the customer service around noon today, December 14th. Why bother having a store? Im opposed to buying your stuff now. This is a wonderful Vince location with a great crew. Emm (store manager) is professional, smart, and gives great book recommendations, too. She was able to find a few pieces for me, and even noticed I looked more confident in what she found (and she was right because I felt it). Emily has set the benchmark for great customer service, When I had difficulty finding an item I had seen online, I was told that Emily in San Francisco was the "go to" person for finding the elusive Vince item.
