I had Hannah, who did well with me. She did everything that we paid for. While my pedicure was getting finished, I was already feeling anxious because I noticed Ashley left twenty minutes early, she came back and asked in front of everyone how we were paying and how much of a tip we wanted to leave her. I was so uncomfortable. After I paid, while still getting my pedicure mind you, she just disappeared again. I wanted to talk to her about her hospitality after I was finished but I couldn't find her anywhere. It was a very uncomfortable experience. Also there were ants in the bathroom all over the sink which is not what I wanted to see while I'm trying to get a spa experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know.

A world-class massage therapist named Trish fixed me right up. Trish had wonderful energy and used a medley of techniques, mostly Swedish, touching me in places (very professionally!!) that probably only my mother has touched, including the insides of my ears. I don't know if that would come across as intrusive to another, but it made me feel warm, nurtured, and relaxed. All of her work was so completely non-judgmental and lovely. There are some massage therapists who are very fixated on symmetry, doing the same thing on both sides of the body in somewhat rote ways. Trish was not. She found areas of tension intuitively, working on troublesome areas as she found them. I have an incredibly hard time relaxing and finding stillness. My mind is always racing, it seems, with The Never-ending List of Things That Need Doing. This massage made me still and centered and released so much stress from my body. It was $90 for an hour-long massage. That's extremely reasonable by NYC standards, especially for this kind of quality.

Walking in, the room is dimly lit with salt lamps on the floor so you can rest your feet on them while you wait. There's jewelry, salt lamps, cherapy warming wraps (warmies made from cherry pits) and a few other things for sale, and the ladies at the front desk were so sweet and welcoming. The massage: Hendrick was very professional, attentive and took the time to listen to my concerns and to also explain to me in depth detail about how the massage would be done. I got a Swedish massage with cupping integrated in said massage and all I can say is my body feels less tight, relaxed and my upper back can breathe more easily than before. What a lovely, zen space! I kinda want to move in.... I left there feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Christine warned me that I would be sore and to drink a lot of water. I was definitely sore - but a really good sore. I drank lots of water and clean iced herbal tea for the rest of the day. I feel fabulous today and I plan to book another massage within a reasonable amount of time to try and avoid getting into the physical mess that I'm in! FYI - they're still following covid protocols - which I personally think is great. Once in the salt cave, masks can be removed (but the therapists do keep them on currently). Bad service, the first time I was ever called a liar to my face. I am Catholic, and I always treat people with love, but here it was far different than that. I'll be letting all my friends know, they come in from Colorado, and they are Olympians, even all the way from Wyoming and CDA Idaho. The reason I moved here is there is a pro snowboarder that lives in Shelburne and that is the reason I moved to the State. I thought this would be a wonderful place.
