I had never been to a DO before but a coworker, knowing about my thyroid condition, recommended the Village Osteopath for me. The intake forms are very thorough -- you can download them from the website -- so fill them out ahead of time. Despite being on thyroid medication for about 4 years, Dr. Nall was the first to really explain to me how the thyroid works and converts into its various parts (T4, T3, etc). Don't ask me to explain it to you now, though! He checked me for zinc and D deficiencies, as well as iodine, as all 3 can have an effect on the efficient use of the thyroid. He switched me to a natural form of the thyroid hormone -- most doctors are only familiar with Synthroid and its generic forms -- as well as had me add D and Ioderal to my supplements. I have problems with my shoulders and neck, most likely due to sitting at a computer for 40+ hours a week. He did osteopathic manipulation, which was somewhat similar to going to the chiropractor but without the cracking noises. I could tell a difference and will most likely make more appointments for that treatment. The only off-putting thing is that LOUD Christian music was playing in the waiting area. Dr. Nall is amazing. I first met him when he was working a shift @ Community North Urgent Care. I was so amazed with the interaction, I actually switched him to my Primacr Care Physician. I have two slipped discs and the pain was unbearable. He has taken the time to get my pain under control through a variety of things. Dr. Nall is super nice, very healing hands. He is a skilled Osteopath who actually manipulates and takes insurance. He is really gentle. My daughter fell and hurt her neck. In days, her pain was spreading to her neck and shoulders. He did such gentle work on her, only manipulated one vertebra as needed, and she had complete pain relief. My one caveat is to call and confirm your appointment time if you have not had a confirmation, we had a mix up with this. Overall, I highly recommend. read more

I had a similar experience to one of the other reviewers - he was recommended to me by a coworker and I had never been to a DO either. After i started going to him I realized that I know quite a few others that go to him as well. I have Celiac and I went to Dr. Nall about my Thyroid. I had never been diagnosed or treated for a Thyroid condition like the other reviewer but Dr. Nall did a great job explaining everything to me and after blood work he discovered I did need treatment. I loved my first visit with him because he scheduled an entire hour with me as a new patient to really talk and understand my medical history and concerns. Everyone at his office is welcoming and friendly and I really feel like I'm going to my local neighborhood doctor and not a larger medical office where I am just another patient with a chart. I've always been happy with my visits and I've never had more then a few minutes to wait for my appointment and I'm always out of there in a timely manner. Dr Scott Nall is one of the best doctors I've ever been to. He addresses my needs and not only that he's a very caring doctor. I've been through a lot this year and he's been there for me every time more than any doctor I've ever been to. I hardly ever have to wait more than five or 10 minutes for my appointment. He's not like most doctors he will take an hour or longer if he needs to to address your needs . When you're the one in his office you're the one that he cares about. I would highly suggest him to anyone. He does a lot of sports medicine so if you're in a lot of pain definitely you should go see him. He can do injections for pain right in his office and draw your blood makes life very easy. It does chelation for many things. He's not your typical run-of-the-mill doctor he's very diversified and does many things right there in his office. He's the kind of doctor you want to give a hug after your visit because he's so caring. read more

Stay away if you're an asthmatic. I hadn't had a visit in the past year and just needed a simple refill on my RESCUE inhaler. As I'm standing at the counter in Walgreens, Ashley, the assistant, tells me I need to visit the office to get the prescription refilled. I could barely breathe as I was in the middle of an asthma attack. One puff of an inhaler and I would've been.on with my day. She told me it was nothing she could do. I ended up calling 911 for a $5 inhaler. I understand procedures but nothing else matters when you can't breathe. I'm currently looking for a doctor who is a little more in tuned to needs of an asthmatic. Again, stay away if you're an asthmatic. read more

We had a wonderful experience! Our daughter, age 32, has been suffering from severe back and arm issues, which have resulted in the loss of her job as a dental hygynist .
