This is my first visit with Dr. Wilson for a nerve block injection. The procedure was thoroughly explained by the nurse prior to my entering the procedure room, then again by Dr. Wilson when he entered the room. All my questions and concerns had been addressed prior to the injection. The procedure only lasted a few minutes with no complications. I then waited 15 minutes to confirm I had no reactions or issues. The following day the nurse phoned to verify all was well. I was very happy all went well and the injection was a success.

Today I am feeling hurt, betrayed, and yet in severe pain. I called the Carmel office two weeks ago to request an injection. The scheduler checked to insure that I was not violating a "waiting period" between shots. I explained that the pain had been more severe with a short three month span than I usually experience after nine months to a year after Dr. Mac's expert therapy. I'm back in my office after I was turned away, an hour ago because the front office had no record of my appointment. Bad show. The scheduler was pleasant and seemed pleased to slot me into an appointment within a relatively short wait given that my pain levels were so high. The front office staff this morning were agreeable and I believed attempted to fit me into the schedule after telling me that I did not have an appointment. I'm writing this arguably because I am disappointed. I will continue to depend on Dr Macadaeg and his care. Perhaps he and his partners might examine best practices regarding their support staff processes. After going back and requesting it, his office staff spoke to him and they provided a citation that undermines his own conclusions and documented findings. Don't expect an honest assessment. I have already placed a call to file a formal complaint. So far I have not received a response. Whether Goodman Campbell, writ large, is 1-star, I can't say. My experience with Dr. DePowell was sub 1-Star.

He is one of the leading neurosurgeons in the world when it comes to baclofen pumps so I knew I was in good hands. I had tons of questions and concerns before committing to the surgery. Dr. Lee sat down with me and thoroughly answered all my questions. Since having my surgery, I can honestly say it was the best decision for me. The nurse who maintains my pump is fabulous! She makes me feel comfortable and at ease. I love that they empower me to make decisions about what I need as far as my meds. I highly recommend Goodman Campbell if you need a baclofen pump.

I was 65 and have had back problems since I was 20 years old, I was there to find someone with a solution; not a lecture! I came in knowing that I wanted a laminectomy or ablation on the nerve roots of my L3, L4 and L5 facets of my spine. I had previously had the tests done for this procedure. Dr. Schmidt would known this if he had taken the time to read my chart. Dr. Schmidt then proceeded to draw a picture of a spine on a piece of paper to explain the problem. All this was demonstrated in front of the nameless visitor present at my exam. Is Dr. Schmidt possibly training a new doctor on how to interact with patients? I cannot imagine a worse choice for a trainer.

After I spend the time and money to confirm, my refills end up being multiple days late and I go through withdrawals. The whole reason I came here to begin with was to avoid withdrawals, and instead they are actively contributing towards it. I ended up canceling my appointments because I dont like how I'm treated and in retaliation they canceled all of my current medications. This time we did not go to a large general hospital, but went to the spine hospital. The experience was phenomenal. We learned that the spine hospital only hires staff that has a lot of experience with spine surgery. They have the most state of the art equipment and the facility is immaculate. Everyone on staff loves their job and it comes through the way they treat their patients. If you need spine surgery, consider asking your doctor if they work out of this hospital. Insurance covers them the same as any other hospital.

Time spent with the NP was approximately less than 10 minutes for which I was charged the full doctor's fee. Tests that she ordered and the results have not been posted nor have Xray results been posted. And this is two months after being done at this appointment. Really disgusted with this organization. Dr. Dorwart was competent but the functionality of the organization is reflecting on him.
