I had planned to write and submit a review for Trip Advisor. However, laundromats are not a topic…read moreof interest for them. On Sunday, I found myself in need of a laundromat, as my washing machine had spun it's last spin cycle. I wanted a place relatively close and decided to try Laundromagic. What a wise choice!! Aaron and Alyssa greeted me with smiles and pleasant "hellos". Now I haven't been in a laundromat for many a year and ,therefore, had many questions. A neophyte in the laundromat! They were both very patient and pleasant. They would frequently dry mop the floor, reorganize the baskets and anticipated individuals requiring a dryer. The televisions were set on different channels, including one with cartoons for the children and then the pizza arrived along with a pleasant invitation from Aaron to help ourselves. It is very clean, in fact the floor is cleaner than the floor at Friendly's on Northampton, safe and provides a welcoming environment. Aaron and Alyssa are gems and exceptionally professional. Definite assets! Elena R.

Lyman Laundry, and Chi specifically, were so great to work with! I was traveling to Holyoke for a…read moreweekend wedding, and needed my dress drycleaned in a pinch. Chi was super responsive and communicative, relayed to me exactly what needed to be done, and assured me that if I dropped it off that afternoon upon arrival, that he would have it dry cleaned and pressed for the following morning, leaving ample time before the wedding. They did an amazing job with my dress and really helped me. I would highly recommend Lyman Laundry to anyone in the Holyoke area looking for laundering services. Thank you again Chi for all of your help!

They couldn't have picked a better name. As a newbie to a laundromat, I wasn't sure what to expect…read more The facility is literally super clean all the time. The workers are polite and knowledgable. Today, a nice employee (a woman of maybe 50) saw me leaving w a giant full basket of clothes, diaper bag, and 6wk old baby in a car seat. She said, unprompted, "Go get that baby in the car, I'll bring this out to you!" I almost cried! Thanks to that wonderful woman who's name I didn't get. The machines are always well maintained and in working order (that I've seen). The 3 different size washers makes every load super affordable and efficient (time and water usage). The dryers are crazy fast. We started coming here bc our dryer broke suddenly... We may not get it fixed now! Nothing like getting laundry for a family of 4 done in the amount of time it takes for 1 load of wash at home.

Sam and the other older lady take really good care of this place. Now I haven't been to a laundry…read moremat since Lucy's off of Mechanic st back in the day but, this place has been a life saver since our apartment buildings' machines have been out of order. Very clean from the floors, to the machines, to the lint screens and trash barrels. Hard to believe it used to be a hardware store in the same slot. These ladies bust their ass to keep the place going. I can honestly say it is a way to get outta the house for the day that I don't dread.

I am from a big city and never in my life have had a dry cleaners pick through my clothes the way…read morethese people did. In Los Angeles I would bring my articles to the cleaners and they would say, "OK see you tomorrow!" No so here. I brought theses people a few silk shirts and a quilt. They picked through and examined the shirts meticulously, explaining why each one was either "already water damaged" or would need "special pressing" and thus my shirts would cost almost $15 a pop to clean. My friend brought a shirt in last year and after they cleaned it they told him never ot come again because the shirt was "too dirty". The quilt they refused to take because it "had too much cat hair" on it and it might break their machine. Really? Do these people want business or what? Do people bring them clothes that are already clean? These people live in a dream world.

As a (very busy) doctoral student, I RARELY write reviews. However, I had such a strong reaction to…read morethe customer service here that I could not help but take precious time away from my dissertation and job applications to write this. I interacted with this business owner on three occasions. Without going into detail, I walked out of the establishment on each occasion feeling dismissed, and with a bad taste in my mouth. After spending $150 at this business, I have decided to use a dry cleaner 15 mins out of the way so as to no longer support this business. As a New Yorker and Californian, I am quite shocked that this type of customer service is tolerated. Spare yourself the disappointment, and use a different dry cleaning service!
