Definitely recommend stopping by. But if you do after dinner leave a little earlier than you want because there may be a long wait. Came once during the day and there wasn't anyone here. Got our ice cream and there is a little area outside with some seats. Only seating is outside. The inside you are only able to walk along the ice cream coolers then you pay and walk out the side door. The second time we came we got there at 9:00pm. The line was huge. It took 45 minutes to get our order. It went fast but there were some flies attacking you as you waited. The ice cream was good. They prices were great. We got here just in time as the place was empty... right after we got there EVERYONE showed up and the line was down the ramp. I'm being a little generous with 4 stars given the fact we got our banana split without a banana... guessing he just forgot to put it on there and we apparently forgot is was supposed to be on there until we were almost done. The ice cream was good but it's ice cream. This may seem petty but we ordered several "blizzards" and they came in a pizza joint cup. For $8 it just seems like a clear cup or something branded would make more sense but that's splitting hairs. If you want ice cream, it's super convenient and I wouldn't hesitate to go back... Where do I start? Soft serve was not soft serve- parts of it were chunky and frozen. Hersheys ice cream was the hard ice cream brand that's served. This ice cream was so delicious it was perfectly blended as i felt a nice delicious crunch of the oreo in one bite and the soft doughy feeling of the cookie dough in another bite. It was very nice and easy to park directly in front of this ice cream parlor. After we received our our ice cream extremely quick. While waiting out the flooded highway we decided to indulge at this small ice cream shop. The service was amazing! The young woman working the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made the experience incredibly pleasant. While our party was on the larger size (4 adults, 2 kids) she quickly made our orders. They had scooped ice cream and soft serve. They also offered sundaes and milkshakes. I got a brownie sundae and it was delicious. It was so huge I could only finish about half of it. I think one of the best features of this place is their outside area. They have big wooden chairs under strings of fairy lights. It's so whimsical, definitely a great touch. Omggggg wow!!!!! I don't love ice cream but this place is legit. First off, their social distancing is good. Secondly, lots of outdoor seating. Don't forget bug spray though. We tried a few flavors, but the Graham Central Station was so good. One of the best flavors I ever had in my lifetime of eating ice cream. Oh also I love love love that they shove the ice cream into the cones! And their portions are pretty big. So there is a lot of flavors, maybe like 20-30? They have normal flavors and more complicated flavors. They have cup, cake cones or sugar cone. This place is a really good spot for a yummy treat on a hot summer day. However, the lines do get pretty long and the majority of the line has to wait in the hot sun until they are close enough to the stand to enter, and addition, this place does not make their own ice cream, which is little bit sad , but it still tastes good. I got moose tracks, peanut butter cup, and chocolate chip cookie dough, and I'd say that moose tracks was probably my favorite out of those choices. read more

Finishing a round of shopping in Rodanthe and we were all looking for somewhere to pick up an ice cream cone on our way back to Avon. We looked up places and decided to check this out since it's local. When you get inside it is SMALL and no restrooms that I could find. Also the ice cream is Hershey's, not made in house, which I thought was a bit disappointing after the ice cream we had in buxton a few days prior. All that being said the ice cream was great and it was nice to support a local business. The line still moved extremely fast; however, my sister and nephew ordered the same exact thing I did (the peanut butter supreme sundae), and I watched the employee make theirs with soft serve. My husband ordered a cookies and cream shake that was pretty much entirely milk--neither of us could even tell there was ice cream in it.
