I arrived for my scheduled appointment and they were not open. No answer by phone either. Went to a nearby spa and they said they get walk-ins a lot because people show up for appointments and no one is there. Seriously? read more

I have had a standing biweekly appointment at Villa Nails for the past 2 years and I've yet to be disappointed. Everyone is always pleasant, friendly and professional. The salon is kept clean and organized. The polish selection is great and I always find a color that I just love. Special thanks to Mia! She's my fav!! read more

Had an appointment at 4pm waited 1 hour 20 min. Would have been longer. No one spoke to me and waited on some one else. Very rude!! I will never go there again!!!! read more

Best nails in my life - I currently live in New York City and I literally wait till I'm back visiting family in MD to get my nails done here. I've been getting my nails done for about 10 years now and I'm super picky - these are the strongest & thinnest acrylics/ dip tips I have ever gotten done. Tom has a true eye for making the shape perfectly symmetrical. This place is a gem and the owners are so hard working!! Jenny always does a stellar job on my gel pedi. Make an appointment and they will honor it! Nails are a tough business to be in but they do their best & they beat all the nails I've ever had done in NYC and for half the cost. Plus, for as little times as I'm able to go a year, they always remember me! I wish them nothing but good fortune! Thank you Tom & Jenny!! read more

Villa Nails - Brand new nails! LOVE THEM! - Nail Salons Near Me - Chester, Maryland

Terrible customer service. They did a horrible job on my gel nails. The man didn't apply enough coats and didn't even clean the dirt I had under my fingernails. You can see right through them. It took him a total of 10 minutes to do the whole thing and it was painful for him to clip my cuticles. Never going back again. read more

Villa Nails - These are 3 days old. You can see through them and he clearly didn't apply the polish close enough to my cuticle. - Nail Salons Near Me - Chester, Maryland

This is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever received at a nail salon. The make technician Tom was recommended by a friend and he did an ok job but everyone was just very rude. I won't be returning and I definitely wouldn't recommend to a friend! read more

The staff at Villa nails is small but the service is exceptional. They are up to date with current nail trends in addition to organic facials and body treatments. they always have an excellent line of nail polish current to each season courtesy of OPI and Elle. Not to mention a great selection of natural skin care products. Their pedicures are the best with 2019 massage chairs and individualized attention to your needs. read more

Horrible! 1st time I went here I was told it would be a 30 minute wait... Well that turned into a hour. Luckily I got the owner to do my nails. She seemed really irritated and cranky they were so busy but she did a great job. I came for a gel manicure, gel pedicure and to get my eyebrows waxed by the time she was done with my manicure I had already been in the store for almost 2 hours so I told her I would come back another day. The 2nd time I came in luckily there was no one in the store and the owner was working again so I thought I will be in and out in no time. Yeah right. I asked for my usual a French gel manicure. In the middle of the manicure she got up and walked away after about 15 minutes of her missing her husband (who also works at the salon) sat down and asked me what I was getting done I told him and he began painting my nails. A little while after she re appears and told me she got hungry? Her husband did a HORRIBLE job Im so irritated and fed up with this place NEVER GOING BACK!!!!! read more

This is the poorest run salon I have ever been to. The owner is nice enough and wanted to help desperately but she only had her mother there to help and I don't even believe she would have been licensed because she appeared to have no knowledge of what she was doing. Then when I did get my pedicure it took two hours! I had wanted a manicure as well but it took so darn long for the pedicure that I decided to forgo the manicure. And don't get me wrong, it's not that they spent two hours massaging my feet, it's just that they had to stop and do other things and answer phones and talk to customers coming in the door. I felt like I was in the twilight zone and I could not wait to get out of there. I'm looking for another salon to head to today but I thought I should save your time and your money and let you know my experience there a couple of weeks ago. read more

What is with my bad luck with nail salons lately?! I swear... The lady let the water overflow - literally - during one client's pedicure and water went all over the floor!!! I also waited a good 45 mins before they could take me- they need more people working here, there were about 3x the ppl there than what their staff could handle. I'm not really sure why either because the service was not great - they all seemed totally overwhelmed and scatterbrained tryna handle everything at once. But hey, my pedicure turned out the way I wanted it, and while they could've spent more time on the massage, it wasn't totally horrible like my experience at a nail place last week so I'm giving 2 stars. read more

Came here at the suggestion of a friend who frequents Villa Nails on occasion. Wasn't sure I really wanted to try it given the really bad reviews but my friend seemed pleased with her experience and since there are only 5 reviews, I figured most of the clientele weren't the Yelp type. Although the service wasn't overly friendly and I soaked my feet for a good 20 minutes before someone came to do my pedicure, I really liked the attention to detail the technician gave during the pedicure. Other patrons in the salon seemed pretty pleased with their manicures, waxes, and pedicures as well. A couple of the patrons appeared to be well-loved regulars and the staff engaged with them easily and happily. Bottom line: I wish I could find a place in my own hometown that does pedicures this well. I've been to many - and paid much more - and have not been this satisfied with the results. read more

Horrible service and bad attitude will not be back my wife and 2 daughters spent 3 hours there and it was a disaster

Don't waste your time going here. Horrible service. Took other customers without appointments in front of me, filed my real nails to the point of nothing being left. I've never experienced a nail salon this bad. Extremely rude to everyone in the salon, not just myself. Overcharged as well. read more

Staying with my girlfriend this weekend, I looked around online for places near her to get my nails done. I saw the Google reviews for Villa Nails, and they were pretty mixed. I ended my search with no definitive plan; we went to lunch, and it happened to be right next to Villa Nails. So I thought I would stop in for a simple manicure. I wish I hadn't. First, we were greeted rudely by man sitting with his feet up and shoes off. After clarifying what I wanted (just a simply manicure), he told me to pick a color. There were only two small display cases of colors (no more than 30 choices), and most were unpopular colors or had so little in the bottle I doubt I could have chosen them. I wished to have mine painted a steel color, but settled on pink when there was no option close to what I wanted. I wasn't all that put out by the color, but then we were rudely barked at to go to one of the manicurists, a young man. I said hi, got no response. He asked me how I liked my nails filed, and then proceeded to file them while watching the football game that was blaring on a TV in the corner. I wouldn't have minded the lack of conversation if he was actually looking at my nails; I had to ask him to refile a few, since they were incredibly uneven. (Also, he was not the only person in the salon who seemed to be able to do my nails. Maybe the others were waiting for clients, but he was the only one enraptured by the game). And then I saw the dog. Yes, a DOG. The family who owned the salon had brought their dog in along with their children. I love animals, but they have no place in a nail salon. That's just one of the many sanitation problems I had here. The water he used did not seem very clean, but I thought it might have had something in it good for the nails. After putting my hands in it, I realize that probably wasn't the case. He had to refill his products a few times, putting generic product into OPI bottles in front of me. He coughed in his hands and then took hold of mine--I had to ask him to wash them. He brought the dog over to sit with him. When he told me to go to the area with the fan/UV light, the fans looked like they had about 10 years of dust on them and they blew crap right onto my wet nails. I apologize for the novel. In the end, I had to wait for someone to ring me out (unfortunately not done prior to the polish being applied), and received pure rudeness the whole time. UNSANITARY, RUDE, AND NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. read more

Really bad customer service. I got a gel manicure and you can totally see through it. They kept having me switch chairs every time someone else was going to do them... had 3 different people do it which which a 30 minute gel manicure turned into an hour and a half of just waiting and in the middle when the man was doing them he just left... so someone else had to finish. Only went there because topaz had a wedding party and was extremely busy . Never going there again. read more

Worst place on Kent Island!! Go anywhere but here. Dirty. Sloppy pedicure!!! Less than 1 star.

My daughter and I were in the area and she wanted to get her nails done. First she called and they said she could make an appointment for 3pm and it was 2pm. When we were rinding through we came across Villa Nails. When we arrives there were only 2 customers in the building. My daughter walked in and asked how long the wait and the lady told her 5 minutes, so we waited. I got my eyebrows done. The lady that did them was very rough. She turned my head very hard. I'm glad I don't have neck problems because if I did I would be totally screwed. Even though my eyebrows turned out very nice, I still think she could have been a little more gentle. The gentleman that did my daughters nails did a okay job. She said she would come back again to get her nails done. read more

it's a shame because this used to be my go-to nail salon when they first opened and honestly, they've just gotten lazy. I've since moved from the area but was back in town and made an appointment about 7 hours in advance just for a simple manicure. When I got there 15 minutes before my appointment time, I waited for 30 minutes. there was only two people working and each had a client and there was also one girl sitting in a pedicure chair waiting to be seen. when I was finally seen, my nails sat in soapy water until they were pruned. I started googling other salons to call and see if they had a wait- was still debating walking out after finally being put in a chair. I had to call the place where I had dinner reservations and push them back twice when I had slotted 45 minutes for this simple manicure. I feel bad for the girl who came in right when I was sat in the chair because she waited along with the girl who had been waiting for a pedi already, the entire length of my appointment and I could tell both were irritated. one got up to use the bathroom and the woman doing my nails jumped up to "make sure she was alright" (she thought she was leaving)-clearly they have issues with people walking out, even from the chairs. the only reason I added a second star to this review is because she did a great job when it was finished and I was happy with it but I definitely won't be going back, especially now that I have been going to a wonderful salon near my new home and see what good service actually looks like. Villa Nails needs to make A LOT of changes. read more
