I authorized $1,000+ in repairs (BCM replacement) because both key fobs were supposed to be synced…read moreas part of the job - that was the deal I paid for, not a favor I asked for later. At pickup I didn't have both fobs on me, so their tech told me to bring the second one back anytime and they'd take care of it. I confirmed a time with both the shop and their head office, showed up exactly when I was told, and their tech sat in my car for 30 minutes attempting to program it - before admitting they don't actually hold the dealer-level license to do it. You don't burn half an hour on a job you claim was never agreed to.
When I asked why the work I paid for wasn't finished and mentioned I'd be posting about my experience, I was screamed at - "Does the car work?!" over and over, probably 20 times. I tried to start recording a video to explain what was actually going on, but between my nerves and him talking over me and insulting me, I could barely get a sentence out. I called him an a-hole and a bad person - and he responded by telling me I "look mental because of the way my face looks" - before I was told to leave. I left, with more insults thrown at me on my way out and staff having to hold him back. All on video, start to finish, not a clip. As for "got into an employee's personal space" - there was a 4-foot service counter between us the entire time. Explain how that works.
On Yelp, when I initially made this review, the owner's reply claimed they have "no record of any customer matching this description, vehicle issue, or date of service." Repair Order #56059, dated 07/02/2026, Service Advisor Ralph Almazan, under my name, 2019 Acura RDX, $1,007.29. Kind of hard to have "no record" when I'm holding the record. Happy to send it to anyone who wants to verify it themselves.
And for the record, I'm willing to give credit where credit is due - the entire reason I went to this shop to begin with is that a month before I brought my car in, when the issue first came up, Brandon was willing to sit on the phone with me for 30 minutes and help diagnose it. I was genuinely appreciative of that, and it's the reason I trusted them with my car. With that said - if I'd known I'd be called a liar multiple times, with the goalposts continuing to move after they refused to do what we agreed upon, I have massive regret, regardless of how it started.
I have documentation and video for every single claim above. I'm not asking them for anything. I just want anyone reading this to see the full picture before they hand this shop their car and their money. First they agreed to sync the second fob. Then it became they couldn't, because of a dealer license. Then it became I wasn't even a real customer. Once that was disproven, suddenly they had a vivid memory that a free second-key sync was never offered - despite having booked the time and spent 30 minutes attempting it in my car. And when I pushed for accountability, the response was to attack my character and my looks instead. That's not a business acting professionally.
Here are all the receipts happy to provide more to verify my experience if anyone wants to reach out -feel free.
Update:
Another update, another new detail. First I wasn't in your system. Then I got in someone's personal space and threatened your business. Now I supposedly "worked for Google" and stormed out to threaten you. None of that's true, and none of it's in my video, which covers the whole interaction start to finish.
I don't work for Google -- lol, wish I did, wouldn't have needed Affirm for this job. And I never said I'd "ruin your reputation" -- what I actually said was I'd post about it online and let people decide for themselves. That's a review, not a threat. I did step outside once, but only to check if my car was actually working after 30 minutes with a computer, not to storm off and threaten anyone. The only time I left for good was when I was told to.
Your own tech offered to sync the second key, unprompted, as I was walking out with the paperwork on the first visit -- I didn't ask for that. And your story on it has already changed once, from "never agreed" to "agreed as a courtesy."
You also weren't there for any of this -- you're going off what the same employee who insulted me told you, the guy who said "you're lucky the owner isn't here, it would've been a lot worse."
I'm not disputing the repair itself, and I'm not looking for anything from you. Video's available if you want to see it. My honest advice to anyone reading -- go to the dealer.
